Played a game as Sixers vs. Knicks and after a sub in the 3rd Embiid ended up matched-up on Brunson while Lowry was on one of the centers (either KAT or Robinson). It completely threw me off and I wasted a couple defensive possessions trying to adjust the matchup (for some reason I don't know how to change it from the pause menu/settings). It even threw off my offense because I was annoyed by the nonsensical defensive matchup and mentally I was thinking about how I need to adjust the setting on the next defensive possession.

A similar issue I've noticed is with teams that use double big lineups. Teams don't really adjust. So in the same game, the Knicks put out a lineup with KAT and Robinson. I have subs on auto and there is no adjusment to match the lineup with our own double big lineup (which should be Embiid and Drummond). Similarly, when I play as the Celtics, they will also use a double big lineup even when it doesn't make sense. Why would there be a lineup with Hordford and Porzingis if the 4 for the other team is undersized?

Lineups, subs, and defensive matchups need to have better logic behind them. I know that there a things I can change from a user perspective, but we should be at a point where the CPU can handle subs and defensive matchups better than they currently do. Past games have done a better job than this.

2K made some crap on this update. I was only able to get around this by turning OFF ACE DEFENSE, and just leaving the offense on.

DEFENSIVE ACE has caused stupid defense picks, the player gets lost, running in the opposite direction of the opponent. Bad switches that remain bad for several possessions.

After disable ACE DEFENSE, my team defend WAYYY Better again

i thought this Was common sense to disable ace as this ****s up your settings? of course it does, because ace only purpose is changing your settings dynamically?

I'll try disabling ACE on defense and see how I get on then. It makes sense that it might be conflicting with defensive settings and matchups.

I’ve turned off ACE for years and it still screws with my match ups. My coverage settings work well though.

The CPUs coverage settings are completely screwed. But their match ups seem to stick.

It is all a literal mess.

There’s clearly a bug. Even setting your player to all players will always go back to user plays only for no discernible reason.

Having said this. The game is fun as ****. I’ve nailed my roster. Teams and players play as they should. It’s just a really fun offline experience.

The standing dunks are better than they’ve ever been. They have real quickness and power to them. Massive improvement in around the rim play.

How did you get past the CPU taking too many 3's with high-usage players?

Seems like an issue I can't nail down the last few years, SMDH.

It’s far from perfect for me. If I ever get curry under 12 attempts I’m happy. For the lillards (not Steph) I 0 out their 3s off screen and remove 3s from their play type. I’ve also dropped touches tendency of most primary ball handlers by 15. They still shoot heaps, just less.

Also with roster editing, I don’t let the enemy of perfection be good. Close enough is good enough, if it’s fun.

I know last year that you gave guards rebound chaser badges to help with the rebounding numbers. Did you do anything like that again this year in any areas of the game? That worked well for us in an online league to help with the rebounding.

Someone else on here found something really good. Give your deep shooters legend tier deep 3 badge and CPU will pull up from 30 feet sometimes

Dirk which sliders and settings are you using? Which game speed, and real fg% or timing?
