Re: NBA 2K25 Version 2.0 Patch Released Ahead of Season 2
Defense was more responsive. Fast breaks and pace was better.
Now the cpu catches up to me on every break attempt and the defense on ball if the player is good like Iverson, after he tries a few moves, my guy will be stunned more often now rendering him to not move for a split second.Comment

Re: NBA 2K25 Version 2.0 Patch Released Ahead of Season 2
Finally found a solution to the massive jitter on PC. YOU MUST TURN OFF CLOTH SIMULATION FIR THE GAME TO PLAY SMOOTHLY.
It's irritating because that's an important graphic feature, and even more irritating because 2K has said nothing about this and have not replied to any of my emails about this bug.
What is the best way to contact them about PC issues? The PC forum has posts from years ago on the first page, it's no point posting anything there.
Can I make a thread about it in here?Comment

what "jitter"? I dont have any problems on PC with everything maxed out. I mean of course it depends on your hardware and of course you need to tune the graphics settings accordingly to match your system. but this is not a bug.Comment

Re: NBA 2K25 Version 2.0 Patch Released Ahead of Season 2
I've seen a very few reddit threads on the issue, about 5 or 6 so I know other people had the problem. It's literally unplayable with cloth simulation turned on. I been trying to find a fix for a month, now I can finally enjoy.
There's so many settings that affect frame rate and the synching of frames from the local device (PC, Nvidia Shield, Firestick, ect) and those same settings have an affect inside of the virtual PC. I was stuck thinking something outside of in game settings was the problem. But yea, maybe it's just that graphics card and virtual PC and the other people posting about it online are using Shadow also.
The hardware is good though, I can max out everything on 1440 and 4K, but 4K will drop to 55-58 fps every now and then, so I stick with 1440. The visual difference is minor.Last edited by Warrenup; 10-19-2024, 04:48 AM.Comment

And the "jitter" is just unstable camera jittering every time the camera pans. If the camera is in 1 place, things move smoothly, as the camera pans from one end of the court to the other, it will jitter until it stops panning.Comment

The matchup fix made the issue worse. I’m literally having to check the setting every couple of possessions.Comment

Re: NBA 2K25 Version 2.0 Patch Released Ahead of Season 2
After playing a few games post patch, things I know for a fact that have changed since launch (some of these changes did occur before the new patch dropped as well):
- the speed of the game is faster than it was at launch (not patch related as this occurred before the patch)
- there’s a lot more warping where defenders magically catch up to you on fast breaks (also before the patch dropped)
- at some point, driving to the lane became more difficult, but post patch it seems like it’s back to how it was at launch. I don’t mind this because it SHOULD be easy to drive if you have a mismatch. That why help defense exists.
- WAY too many open shots going in now, even from non shooters. The CPU Russell Westbrook went 3/3 on All Star difficulty, and his 3pt rating is 68.
- I don’t know if it’s my controller or not, but when moving at a moderate speed (no turbo) with a player, they have this weird looking jog animation that doesn’t look naturalLast edited by Po Pimp; 10-19-2024, 10:48 AM.Comment

So once again, them patching the game made it worse, like clockworkComment
