I think we can replicate this in 2K.

Finalise your slider set as a base.

Then you create a home slider set where you +1 to all your shooting and stamina, even fouls called.

Then a road slider set where you -1 for all your shooting and stamina

I never played EA’s NCAA Basketball 09. It had a mode called Tournament of Champions where every championship team is put in the NCAA Tournament. Man, I think that is so cool and could be a fun challenge in a potential College Hoops. All 2K needs is the rights to 5 or 6 players per team. If you win the tourney with a team you can unlock that team, uniform, arena and players for use in Legacy and play now modes. Imagine being able to take a young Kareem Abdul Jabbar (or his player DNA) and adding him to your favorite team.

Re: 2K/EA are having internal discussions on return of College Basketball games.

        I am adding 5 things

        1. I am adding my player. It's no different than what's in NBA 2k, just college based instead of real life based.

        2. CH ERAs. Sorry but you need a lot of sales to justify the cost. You need ERAS. Michael Jordan era, Larry and Magic Era, Christian Laettner Era with Shaq in it, JJ Redick and Adam Morrison Era, and Florida Era with Durant, Curry, and Oden in it. Also, allow kids to go from HS to the pros in HS recruiting but like NBA Myera, the rule change in 2006 where kids must go to college unless they are international prospects. The issue with this is you can't do the year to year eras like NBA 2k because it would cost an arm and a leg even if you just focused on the key players only so it will be half baked but even then, it will be cool. Also, tune the recruiting to fit the times. More jump shooters and slashers in the 80s and 90s than in the 2010s and 2020s. Less internationals in the 80s and 90s. Whereas today, players come from all over.

        3. Allow us to edit paid players potential rating and their fit. I understand why we can't edit their ratings but allow us to edit potential and how they are styled. If I am a player, I want the potential to make it to the NBA even if in real life, it's a no.

        4. Work a deal with the NBAPA and allow for import draft class to work in the game. That would be so amazing. Also implement players being able to hit the portal or use NIL to entice them to stay in college instead of going to the NBA or the portal.

        5. The biggest thing is treat this game like it should be treated and people will buy like crazy. I really think myeras is massively needed more for CH than NBA2k because people really don't know 99% of these players. Being able to play an open legacy with MJ and Worthy against Akeem and Ewing is mindblowing for many.

Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina are part of the 10 men's college basketball teams spending at least $10 million on NIL contracts in 2025, according to CBS Sports' Matt Norlander.

Reading this got me to thinking how cool it would be to have a lite free agency in College Hoops for the transfer portal. We can drop the pretense now and just pay the players from an NIL collective and sign them to contracts. I see North Carolina signed their new QB to a 2 year contract. Everybody wins. The players get the money they agreed to and the schools get black and white terms. It would be kind of cool to have a fluctuating salary cap of like 10 million and have to manage that with the players. Players could have ambitions too like financial security, loyalty or just playing for a title contender.
