The more I use sapphire Scottie Pippen the less I like him.

His 87 three-point rating is undermined by a very slow release animation that's difficult to judge online.

I also miss a lot of free throws with his 72 rating and awkward shooting form.

79 pass, 80 close, 78 medium aren't great offensive ratings, either. Forget about using him in the post, as most of his post ratings are in the 60s and 70s.

On defense, his 99 on-ball rating is spoiled by having just 84 speed and 84 quickness. As a result, he can't stay in front of faster forwards like LeBron.

His steal rating of 85 is good but not great. His 60 strength, 60 rebounding, and 50 block make him useless as an interior defender.

So basically, sapphire Pippen is only good for dunking (91 rating) and guarding slower forwards like Kobe, Carmelo and Durant along the perimeter.

Pretty much. I took him out of my lineup a while ago. He has cost me far too many games with his ****ty shooting, both from 3 and from the charity stripe.

I'd have to disagree with you, I like to run through MJ and Wilkins cause they're unstoppable cheese whether you like it or not, they did it in real life. Anyways, I think I only had MJ in my roster this game and I was abusing him until he put Pippen in. Speed was not a factor, Pippen shut my MJ down 3 possessions in a row including blocking my layup. His 3 is fine for me and his dunking if nice, all I have on him is deadeye and LDD and interceptor. Don't try to run your offense through him because he's more defense than offense.

Pippin is good on the fast break too. With lock down and deadeye/catch and shoot he is a great all around SF.

For me, yeah, pretty much. He plays about 1/5 of my games. When Durant runs out of contracts I'll usually throw Pippen in for a game or two.

His release is just awful, and I shoot like 60% from the line with him. I only relied on him for like 2 open 3s a game and he never ceased to **** me over.

Nah. I love pippen. Does seem kind of inconsistent at times. But a good dunker and always brings his d.

He has a hot spot 3pt straight away. Money. Just can't force the action with him. If I'm shooting threes, its usually a catch and shoot. Never off the dribble

On current-gen i despised people that played zones. But on next-gen i don't blame them because on ball defense is almost impossible to play with the lag and input delay. I have to force myself to play this game sometimes.
