I don't think you get it though. Your point was, you don't see what the problem is with people buying what they want. And yeah, that's true, people can buy whatever they please with their hard earned money. BUT, it sounds like what Luis241989 and some others were saying was, if 2k sees they can easily make a good amount of money from this game all the gripes people have with vc won't go away, in fact i'd take it a step further and say it i doubt they would worry too much about fixing a lot of problems in general. Serious question, if you can make a good amount of money and have people spending 100-300$ in game, why change anything or fix any of the vc issues(or problems in general) that people complain about so much in this game? So yeah, the 2k is all about money thing actually does apply.

Re: How much money have you spent on this mode?
I was just speaking to the "on disc" comment, as 9/10 times, there are traces of what your downloading "on disc"...these guys are rarely building brand new content and importing it in...
If the point is that all DLC that doesn't add "new" content is a scam, I don't agree with that either....
It really all boils down to my original point: people can do whatever they want with their money....it's their money...it's a silly thing I be worried about..
I mean, there are people who think buying video games period are a waste....but we buy for fun...(or most of us do, some 2k forum guys seem miserable half the time) but spending YOUR money to increase your own personal enjoyment of the game? That's a no, no.
DLC involves new content... There's no new content involved when you're paying for players that you can already play with for FREE..
I don't care what you do with your money, until what you do with your money affects me... and when people throw money at 2K, they get greedier, and my gaming experience suffers in the process.Last edited by Charles Xavyer; 04-02-2014, 02:59 AM.Comment

We can stop here. It's true, and will remain true. This was was my point the entire time, and is still my point. Everything else is extra, and has already been rehashed constantly...if I wanted to talk about "evil 2k", I'd join the discussion(s) in the main forum..Last edited by The 24th Letter; 04-02-2014, 06:56 AM.Comment

Re: How much money have you spent on this mode?
This thread is irrelevant and has now become a huge arguing match.
People will do what they want with their money and it will more often than not affect OTHER consumers because that is the kind of system we have set up.
Before this next-gen game came out it's not like 2K was going in a great direction anyway, they continue to remove features or do things that are the exact opposite of what the majority of us want...so your gaming experience should be affected in many other ways other than just what people spent on VC...Fino Alla Fine

Then any 2k decision affected everyone the same. If they removed the Reelmaker, nobody could have it.
Now the game (or some modes) have became almost unplayable only for those who don't want or cannot spend extra-money or farm for getting VC.Comment

There is a HUGE difference between then and now.

Re: How much money have you spent on this mode?
Modes are not unplayable, I completely disagree. I got myself to a 99 in MyCareer without paying anything for VC before I stopped playing that mode. If you play on HOF you can easily get 1800-4000 VC a game, sometimes you get a few 900-1500 games but that's still a lot. MyGM is the only mode where the VC implementation is ridiculous.
*I don't like VC at all but don't tell me the game is unplayable...
Can you play AT THE SAME TIME MyGm, Myplayer and MyTeam (and be competitive in each one of them) without spending extra-cash in VC? What if you also want to get some clothes/accessories for your MyPlayer in the Park?Comment

Re: How much money have you spent on this mode?
MyTeam is different because there is also MT points which you get for winning games. So to me, that's out of the equation really. Also, I've beaten all gold teams with my bronze domination lineup. Just because you have a great team doesn't mean you'll win, a lot of those people are trash at this game and hide behind their players.
I honestly don't have time to play literally every mode in the game, if you're a person that is doing MyGm, MyCareer, MyTeam, and Park then you must play this game an insane amount.
I don't like VC and the degree to which it's basically taken over the game is wrong, but IT IS possible to play without buying it.
I would be okay with VC being present (in a reduced amount) going forward if they put out a better product with more features, and if they introduced an option similar to MLB The Show 14 where you can transfer your saves from year-to-year.Fino Alla Fine

Re: How much money have you spent on this mode?
If you don't understand that MyTeam/Ultimate team sole purpose of being made was for companies to make money off of micro transactions you are completely lost. Sorry to tell you this but most people that play this mode have brought VC at some point. It's done, game over, the cat is out of the bag now and all the whining/crying is not going to change a damn thing. Good luck with your fight though, Remember The Alamo. This is the point in arguments where you just have to disagree to disagree cause the same stuff is getting repeated over and over again.Comment

Re: How much money have you spent on this mode?
Again, you're missing the point by a mile. I get it, you like 2k, that's cool. But this isn't talking about "evil 2k" or whatever other strawman you wanna throw out. It's pretty simple, myself and others have spelled it out multiple times in this thread. Hell, there's even a giant quote in bold on the previous page that explains it easily, what don't you get? lol.
and you don't like 2k, I get it...there isn't a post you've made in this forum that hasn't been a criticism, or you tacking on to some criticism. Much like your tacking on now...your telling me i'm not "getting" a conversation I was having with someone else, that you decided to jump in.....the OP in this thread isn't asking "should I be spending money on 2k?"..so any bolded quote is irrelevant...
Again, how you feel aside, no matter how many more paragraphs you type about how it effects you...people can spend their $ how they want. Point blank period. Now we can agree to disagree, or you can continue to talk about how much i'm not getting a point that has nothing to do with what i'm talking about....up to you.Comment

I was actually was in this thread before and i responded to someone who was saying something ridiculous like "man some of you need to get jobs if you can't spend money on this mode" or something crazy like that. Funny thing is, you're rambling about tacking on or whatever, but i was posting in this thread before you were. By the same logic you're trying to use to say i just tack on criticism, i could turn around and say whenever there is criticism you tend to try to defend against it. That just doesn't work, stop.
And nobody(myself included) said people couldn't spend money how they want, i(others) just pointed out how that can affect people for the worst in this case. I think that's the part you're misunderstanding completely, again. There's nothing to agree to disagree on because you're trying to imply that i said people can't spend money how they want. This isn't the first time you've misunderstood something and ran with it or taken things out of context either, you should read more carefully, just sayin lol.Last edited by SPRINGS03; 04-02-2014, 06:15 PM.Comment
