Thanks for the tips. I've been getting better and hit 880 MT points last game. Also pulled an Anthony Davis so the game is definitely getting easier to put up higher scores. His outlet passing and blocks are great for fast break points.

ur offensive stats are great but domination in this game is defined by defense i.e. rebounding especially offensive rebounding, steals, blocks, and SECOND CHANCE POINTS. also, fast break fast break and fast break. run n gun city. u got this. lmk if u need help in something specific

man you are telling the truth....but i think i figured out how to game this system....just scored 950 in my 1st attempt doing this

basically....before the game i set mylineup to have Thad Young and Markieff Morris running as my point guards

I would just sling the ball into the post while deron williams guarded them for an automatic post up basket every time...it was quite hilarious to do this....you get 5 or 6 MT for a post up move, 2 for the basket...plus what ever you get for assist....it is quite ridiculous but very, very effective...fade away jumpers are money lol

on defense i was basically running around like a mad man trying to bait them into jumpers and hoping for a miss or a drive to the goal for a block attempt...i got maybe 3 or 4 blocks this game by doing that and getting steals if you have a good defensive PG shouldn't be too hard

on fast breaks your best bet is to wait and try to hit the trailer for an assist no matter how open you are to get the ast bonus as well

by doing this i shot a lower FG% as my bigs got fatigued and I really don't have worthy back up big men to do this with yet...but seems as if my AI wanted to get more offensive rebounds over the CPU when I missed post shots as opposed to any type of jumper (that part may be all in my head fwiw)

but overall it seems like a pretty effective strategy for easy MT if anybody wants to give this a go....i'm definitely going to try this again to tomorrow to make sure this wasn't a fluke

i still didn't get many second chance points though...my offensive rebounds come few and far between...maybe had 6 or 7 second chance points...it seems like it won't give me credit for second chance points if i don't go directly up with the board

fast breaks don't always give me credit for fast breaks either

for sure man. good to know u killin it. and i like the whole thad young at PG for a change. as long as it works and if someone is willing to do it as a desperation mode who cares. yea second chance points and offensive boards are still hard to come by even after trying so hard. this what makes this game so realistic n fun to play (of course certain things can be exploited in the game and by no means this game is perfect). for fast break i usually just wait till my guys run up and then i make the outlet pass and shoot the 3 as soon as they catch. that way i have been getting fast break + assist + 3pt shot + made shot = 13mt points per offensive possession. i do this a lot and it works for me.

Yea i definitely do use the method you use for 3's on fast breaks as well if the trailers aren't going to get there in time

as for realism in domination, i couldn't care less...i wouldn't even do domination if it didn't net me free cards...I'd rather have more of the challenge game modes that they have put in

Playing myplayer in 2k14 was a blast but they have definitely improved this game mode by leaps and bounds from what it was last year

i can't wait to start pulling classic players from packs

What type of defense do you guys run? Ive been running 2-3 zone but it lets the cpu score a lot in the paint, which its supposed to prevent

just start doubling and pretty much run around like a wild man trying to get steals and blocks

If you can get someone on your team with a good post-fade rating and the post-fade badge, just keep feeding them for post fadeaways all game.

You'll get:

+4 assist, +5 post move, +2 made shot

which is +11 every offensive possession.

Also try to avoid taking free throws once you get to a 100% free throw rating. You'll get +100 points if you can make all your free throws.

I literally post Melo and hit a fad for 7 to 11 points each trip normally get at least 165 in post moves alone

All you need is a guy with 80+ post fade rating and the fade ace badge.

I have Paul Millsap at power forward (84 fade) and DeMarcus Cousins at center (83 fade).

I run the 3-out, 2-in offense, set my point of emphasis to "feed the post," and just keep giving the ball to whomever has the hot hand or the better matchup.

I just wish Cousins had better vertical/block ratings, because even though he's great on offense, he doesn't generate many MT points on defense, besides his rebounding.

Anyone got any tips? Found out you need to beat each team, and I lose by about 10 but get like 650-700 MT a game. Any easy ways to play or at least be solid with a bronze team?

Get 3 point shooters and slashing bronze players. Look for mostly fast players, shane larkin, markel brown, James Vernado etc. Then run and gun, give the computer open jumpers and watch them miss 50% of em.

Cool cheers. Usually buy a lot of VC to get good golds but this year VC gets so little packs.

This year VC isnt even worth it, you can cause havoc with silvers and earn a few golds and build up with MT. VC is only worth it if ur in a rush to boost up ur team a bit. But the way I see it, ima be playing this for a year, so I might aswell not buy VC and build thru MT as much as I can. Last year that was impossible.

Noob questions Just started playing domination (wanted to learn the game before playing online) and managed to get a few wins in my belt (i win 50% or more). However , I was wondering, how do you manage contracts ? I mean a game will cost you 12 contracts and by you earning 600mt per game (which is roughly a 5game contract) do you eventually run out?? from packs after winning you will pull 2-3 contracts but do you find yourself saving a lot of mt's for contracts? Bonus Question, is there a good consumable guide somewhere? I have some but somewhat afraid of misusing them...
