You get Richmond for completing a collection so he's easier to get and thus cheaper.

Also, Gerald Green is a silver player which are nice in a lot of challenges that restrict your lineups. He is also fast, has a good 3 PT rating, and dunk rating. Lots of people only care about that in 2K.

1) Use the app to get VC and buy packs (very ineffective and VC is better used in other places)
2) Domination Mode if you haven't already, get the player packs and hope you get good players to sell.
3) Don't quick sell anything, always put it up for auction even if it's just 500 MT points
4) Work the auction house for deals to flip
5) Complete challenges/RTTP games for MT points
6) Complete collections (You get either MT points or a player for completing a collection)
7) Pay attention to the Checklist, when you get a certain amount of cards collected you get MT points and go up a Collector level

You can also go the farming route if you're into that. Once you finish the challenges and stuff and people understand the market it's tough to get MT by playing games.

Yeah and completing some of the bad teams' collections gives you 25,000 MT which is usually more than it costs to buy the whole team. You make a little profit then you can sell back all the players you bought.

This seems like the right place to post this. Commence rant:

These legends have been implemented in the worst possible way. Honestly, I get the fact that you can't pulling 80+ overall guys every other pack, but they are TOO rare. Every worthwhile legend, and even some who aren't, are worth way too much on the auction house. Why? Because no one can pull them. You want an Isiah Thomas? Maybe a Jamal Mashburn? How about a Artis Gilmore? Well you better pull them out of packs, or your S**t out of luck. And good luck with that. You'll just get Will Purdue 5 out of the 8 packs. My best pulls out of 40+ packs have been Noah, DeRozan, Horford, and the 97 3pt Kerr. And Kerr goes for more than all of those guys combined on the auction house. Makes sense right?

2k NEEDS to adress this. The auction house for legends is beyond broken. I want to pick up a Bill Walton. But guess how much the only Bill Walton is going for? 286850. Really? But that's ok, becuase 2k is cleaning out our wallets because we'll still pay for these *** packs.

So basically. Increase the pack odds for legends. Or just make a dedicated legends pack, so I'm not getting Josh Powell in 2 out of the 4 VIP packs (that actually happened to me today) Or decrease how much these packs cost for both MT and VC. Because the state this is in right now, is downright pathetic. Which has kinda been the story of this mode so far this year ironically.

^The best legends are definitely given way to little chance of getting pulled. This whole weekend I've seen maybe one of each of the best legends for each team except bird. Haven't seen hakeem, have seen one ewing, one isiah thomas, 1 iverson, 1 jordan. There should be a lot more than what we are seeing. 2k are milking these packs

I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't have a problem with the way legends have been implemented. There will always be plenty of people to drop hundreds of dollars on packs and fill the auction house with legends, especially as time goes on. And if you're diligent you can find the guys you want for reasonable prices.

Maybe it's because I don't have much desire to get guys like Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Wilt, etc. that I'm happy to buy some of the lesser guys that I grew up watching like Steve Smith, Gheorghe Muresan, and Eddie Jones.

Also, if you take the time to farm it's easy to rack up MT quickly.

Farming like with the saves?

By creating multiple accounts. Start a new MyTeam, exit MyTeam, enter the 2 unlimited locker codes for a legend and badges, go back in MyTeam and auction off your best stuff. I can typically make 100k MT a day in about 3 hours.

You get a free 1000 MT by exiting out of MyTeam, entering the codes and teetering.

This is better for the market long term tbh, because if they were that much more common, they would have no value long term. This mode is suppose to last until next year, keep that in mind.
