So they're trying to tell me that D Rose is better than Prime Wade, Prime Iverson, and Prime Gervin?

I actually agree with 95% of the decisions 2K makes with this game mode, but this is ridiculous and a blatant cash grab at the expense of any semblance of realism.

Maybe the overalls take passing stats to matter more? I think cory joseph troy daniels are the highest bronze. Same with ty lawson and goran dragic for silvers. Pf and centers seem to be left way behind in overall ratings.

People don't understand that these OVR ratings take position into account. If you change a players position, his OVR changes. You can't compare OVR across positions, as it's not accurate. For example, almost every C is rated higher at PF. And also, as stated earlier, Wade's card was kind of a test. When it released, it was one of the best cards in the game. Now, they've started releasing higher rated players, and they need to make the new guys have comparably high ratings to make people want the card.

Prime Wade shot 32% from the 3 while DRose only shot 33%. Wade's prime years are way better than Rose's. And actually Wade's True shooting percentage was higher than rose in his prime. I mean his PER was a 30.4 compared to Rose's weak 23.5. Weakest MVP winner.

These ratings are an absolute joke, there are so many players who have worse or equal ratings that were so much better than Rose. Stoudemire, Wade, Dirk, Nash, DUNCAN, Ginobili, and Gervin. And that's not even naming all the gold players who have worse ratings but are better.

They also have throwbacks for players when it wasn't even their best year. Players like Mourning, Vince Carter, and Kirilenko(Seriously Underrated).

Again, like someone already said, it's a money grab for them and that's all they care about.

Wade was a better midrange shooter, a better finisher, and only slightly worse at 3's. he shot 1.5% worse from 3 than D-rose, which is somehow an 8 point difference in this game. There is no explanation for why D-Rose is significantly better at close and midrange shooting when he shot worse from 2 than Wade.

Wade was/is NOT a better midrange. And did u actually watch prime wade play or did u just look up numbers? He obviously wasnt known for 3pt shooting while mvp rose was clearly above avg.

i stopped taking u seriously when u decided to throw in analytics. I mean mvp rose was a better scorer than prime wade just by watching the actual games. Wade was really good but no one respected/respects his J. Mvp rose jumper was something to be respected if u actually seen him

Neither are known for mid range shooting. Both are slashing players. But I think Wade in prime was better than Rose in his prime but I might be a little bias because Wade is one of my favorite SG's off all time.

I'm sorry but if you watched both in their prime, prime Wade>prime Rose. Scoring efficiency wise, Wade was much better.

Wade single handedly lead his team to a championship.

Rose was pretty deadly from midrange 09-10 season but was pretty mediocre during his MVP season. He's never recovered the same form from his second season.

No way his midrange shooting ratings should 87/91 for his MVP season.

There is an explanation...2K always overrates Derrick Rose.

This is probably because he's Mike Wang's favorite player.

D Rose is terribly overrated in this year's game also...outside of MyTeam and with his Gold card.

Now...if only I had an explanation for why Austin Rivers has been ridiculously overrated for 3 years now...

I think all of the players who help 2K out with the game get a little "bump" in their ratings because of it...
