2k going a little overboard with Kanter's rebounding and KAT's mid ranger.

which is why i find it funny when i provide in-depth analytical insight as to why a player should be boosted in certain areas, people have complaints...but then 2K boosts KAT to an offensive god basically(minus a 3), nobody says anything. **** is too backwards.

Towns is absolutely sick though. Despite all the hype surrounding Porzingis he's by far the best rookie so far. He's already a very good defender and rebounder. I agree that his midrange is overrated for now given the small samplesize, I assume that 2k staff watched too many draft combine videos. Should be about 5 points lower.

I agree Towns has been the best rookie and i think he will be the best of this class. My friend thinks that Porzingis will be but he is a knicks fan

Porzingis gets the hype because he has had more break out games than KAT who has constantly good games, added to the fact that KP plays in NY and wasn't expected to produce as much this fast.

I don't think KAT is by far better either. I think both will be competing for RotY and who is the best out of the draft class. I'm a Knick fan though.

Yep.

1. New York media machine.
2. He's a 7-foot-plus white guy.
3. He got booed when he was drafted.
4. Wasn't expected to be ready to be immediately effective.

It feels high but they are using the stats to determine KATs rating. He's shooting better from 16ft+ than Dirk, AD, and Kevin Love.

Yeah and that's fine, but IIRC he's only taken about 50 such shots so far. The samplesize seems too small to justify this kind of rating. I'm actually pretty sure that the ratings will turn out fine for him, but it does seem early.

Another day, still no update for Jimmy Butler. This is ridiculous, he's been the best shooting guard in the league so far

i mean are we actually getting updates today or not? so much has happened in the league. 7 days per update is already a bit long but missing another week is ridiculous. they've done this once already.

random. but usually they update at least every 4 days, albeit sometimes only a handful of players. like in the past week they only updated 9 players. we are due for a large update.

As far as I know, they have updated Porzingis and Towns yesterday. Maybe others but I can't tell.

they updated 6 players yesterday and 3 players on the 21st.

their last big update was exactly a week ago. and then the 10th before that which was basically a week before then. Their execution is so God awful. Dynamic is the only thing keeping this damn mode alive and they cant even get that right. I swear to God i wish EA had a legit basketball game

Dynamic is definitely keeping the mode alive because current cards have little to no value. I thought I'd try my luck and get 3 VIP boxes. Out of 30 packs, got 4 golds and the rest were not even worth listing on AH. they dont have a dynamic box yet though. there are a lot of players that need updates, whether good or bad.
