I recommend to get Ralph Sampson but not going any further. As you said it is very expensive going above 1500 but not really worth the Dumars card. It took me really long to get there and after testing Dumars i'm a bit disappointed. I rather have Harden starting and let Klay come from the bench tbh. If you put emphasis on the mid range Dumars could be your man though...

1500 cards gives you another nice MT bonus, so I would say that's the best mark to quit collecting. I have sold my dynamic LBJ today for 265k to push me from 1150 to Sampson. Prices are so low, I got 99% of the needed player cards for max. 1k and even real good gold cards for under 2k. I guess that's the good point of the dynamics they keep the prices of the current cards way way down.
Now I have around 20k MT and another 30k in the AH left to get the last around 50 cards. When you have all cheap stuff and current players you have to go for the Dynamic free agents for around 1.2-1.5k in auctions. So I probably have to flip some more cards to have enough MT to reach 1500. Dumars was never a option for me, especially after finding out how expensive it is to get new cards after Sampson. I am fine with Harden and MJ as my SGs.

I want Diamond MJ but I might put a pin in collecting cards for now. The community seems to be in the dark about these dynamics. These cards are not even being updated weekly. Plus with the addition of "Moment Cards". Players might receive a additional card instead of an update, which makes no sense.

I got Sampson the other day, he's a total stud. I won't sell my cards though, I can't be bothered doing the grind again when I want the rest of the cards later in the year. I've amassed lots of MT since the PC AH went crazy anyway, I'll just sit tight and wait for prices to drop.

Totally agree with the Moments cards, they sort of killed the dynamic idea. The 86 Ovr Drummond for example is probably going to be his peak rating so the dynamic card is meh.

Tyler Johnson and Justice Winslow better get upgraded soon or I'm going to be pissed. Freakin Winslow is a Defensive Beast. Locking up Harden and Derozan. Playing PG and Lebron extremely well too.

I slightly disagree. While some Moments cards will kill the Dynamic version, it depends on the situation and how 2k does it. I looked at the Drummond moments and his dynamic is gonna go beyond that if he keeps playing the way he is. All they did was give him a major bump in scoring and slight bump in rebounding and athleticism. His rebounding will likely be maxed and his defense will likely get bump too. If he improves his passing and offensive consistency...that card is heading beyond 86. It will be Amethyst if he keeps this pace up.

Again, as I stated before, it depends on what you pay for them. I paid 1800 for my Drummond and havent missed that MT at all. I wouldnt recommend paying any inflated price for any card though. Another card that will surpass the Moments version will be McCollum.

At the moment Drummond is a 20/20 beast so maybe he was a bad example lol. But that Cj McCollum card took a little juice out of the dynamic. I mean if you are buying them to flip a profit. It also depends on these stupid updates and how frequent they do them.

Kobe dropped to an 80 so I picked him up as it's just a matter of time before he's a silver. The thing is that I cannot figure out why this man is an 80. His stats are absolute trash. They have to update these with some sort of regularity. Would be exciting if a consistently good week gave you an updated player card but that's not case right now.

Moments cards are random AF and do hurt Dynamics cards. 2k might want to look into a system where the ratings deplete over time (like Madden). Then maybe use that card for a collection or a large MT quick sell.

Not only that he has 67 speed and 68 acceleration. Pretty much the most useless card right now
