Wilt & Kobe will still be a while off for me, currently at 2130, roughly 95 historic cards to go(players, diamond players and the majority of that void being almost No Lakers/Pelicans and lots of golds missing yet). Still need to scoop up moments/free agents as they come and the Dream Team should account for 110-130 (assuming they each get their own collection to get the DT player). Long road ahead still.

If I were you, and you are in it for the long haul, then sell off historics that will be much cheaper when their packs come out.

Is there a big disparity for un/released in console AH? The rare Historic Dom drops are very expensive on PC. Last night just randomly stumbled on a Sapphire Dee Brown and snapped him up...30K was like a snipe as I imagine he can sell for 100K.

That said, recent packs have been weird...on PC people clearly aren't buying a lot of the Bulls Blazers packs. Maybe got distracted by end of Big Men and start of D50. Bulls gold historics are like 10K+.

So I'm a bit concerned about how many cheap cards I can get with Historic drops.

If I were you, and you are in it for the long haul, then sell off historics that will be much cheaper when their packs come out.

Yikes, scared to see what the PC prices are, got that Dee a few weeks ago at maybe 15k(after watching it slowly come down) and just checked and he's going at 9-10K. On Ps4 guess I'm looking at it differently, sort of waiting for new historic packs/new black market releases so these golds will hit the market or not be overpriced(19-25k for Wizards historic golds). Basically all the Bulls/Blazers pack did for me was let me get lousy Dave Corzine finally under 20k and Aldridge not having to pay over 100k for him.

The main overpriced unreleased historic players are just rubies and the teams with good diamond collection rewards (Kings, Nets, Rockets). Hopefully you sniped out the "low end reward"/low ruby teams like Bucks, Grizzlies and Dallas.

Yeah...the PC population is a very small fraction of PS4's, so the cards that were rarely rewarded as Historic Domination rewards are extremely rare.

The Emerald and Gold cards that were commonly awarded are probably less inflated compared to consoles.

Wow, so even on PS4, the Bulls Historics are inflated way more than previous Historic releases. LaMarcus was also up around 100K on PC. I was able to get him for around 90K. I thought it was just PC that stuff like the Bulls Golds were way over 10K. In past packs, they were cheap...like 1-2K.

I'm guessing that people just didn't pull a lot of these packs.

But I just checked and prices are lower right now. I think people are opening a lot of packs before they expire. Right now. Tonight is a good time to buy Bulls/Blazers.

You mean the Current collections? I completed all the Currents a long time ago. Paid too much for them, but figured I'd get that all out of the way.

I was going the collection grind until I realised I was collecting and locking in players I was never going to use. Yes I understand there is a collection bonus system but truth is I don't think i am going to have the time to grind or the money to by oodles of VC. So in short I manage my team like a real life GM, hit the Auction house to fill and improve gaps in my roster, and if that improvement is not readily available in the AH then look at completing a relevant collection to fill that gap.

I'd like to get to 800 cards to get Antoine. I refuse to plow $100 of my own money into the game (I'll buy VC when they do the %50-%80 promos, but that's usually small amounts).

One tactic is to buy up all the random team items. But I've found this is difficult because all the random logos and playbooks and such don't have the nice 'search' functionality that players do, where you can pick a blank spot in your collection and 'search' for that item. Any recommendations on how to track down missing items more easily? I don't even know which logos I don't have, since they just show as blank spaces.

Good idea, but it's the "glitched" blazers playbook of last year, which means you'll find it by looking for 76ers playbook. 2k logic

Is there any other jerseys courts etc like this that don't show up normally that you guys remember you had to search for differently?

I'll have to look again but I know I'm missing some basic stuff that just never showed up in searches

im thinking about just doing the collection grind until i can at least get rodman... is there anyway to see the jerseys you have already so that you don't buy the same ones?? i hate having to back out of auction house all of the time...

best way to grow collection quickly? im at about 500 and im on last game of historic domination which i cant beat right now.

I finally got Bernard King. Would like to get to Wilt, don't know if I can, but know I'll be able to get Jerry West.

I won't liquidate a very large quantity of stuff but I'm thinking about selling maybe 50-100 of the most valuable historics that are not of any use to me other than collecting.

For example, I have the Historic Hawks all collected, but Hudson is no longer a big deal, so I should probably sell off any valuable Historic Hawk (except for maybe Josh Smith) before Hudson becomes even less of a big deal.

The nice thing about selling off historic cards is that, at least, they're easy to check price on, periodically, due to ability to search from collection screen. I won't sell even my super-rare and valuable Team Items because I hate having to search for them.

Did we ever figure out exactly what the new Historic Logos are? I'm missing one, but I haven't seen anyone post the image of that page.

Finally got Grant Hill today. He's amazing. I'm looking at Bernard King's atts - is he really worth continuing to build toward, considering he plays the same position that Hill and Kiki play? Obviously Hill is more versatile and can play anywhere 1-4, but is King still useful?

Just picked up Elvin Hayes... not impressed, Great Rebounder and can score on the low block, but that's about it. Good defender too, but lacks height and doesn't have great blocking tendencys. All in all really disappointed in him, definately won't be getting any burn over LJ or CB4

My theory is that you only get this logo card by finishing a specific historic domination game. Lots of those cards where in historic domination packs and never popped up in any pack. So I guess if you havent completed historic domination and you would finish it now with the updated collections, you would get that missing card.

Finally got Grant Hill today. He's amazing. I'm looking at Bernard King's atts - is he really worth continuing to build toward, considering he plays the same position that Hill and Kiki play? Obviously Hill is more versatile and can play anywhere 1-4, but is King still useful?

So far, I've like King the most. But: I basically haven't played Kiki and I've never really tried to focus on Grant Hill. That said, at least between Hill and King, King is the one who seems to produce more within the flow of things, even though I'm not calling things for either.
