Re: The collection grind...who's going for it

Y'all think grant hill is still worth going after or should I just start selling off my collection and stack MT until the market takes a huge nose dive when all star packs come out?

I'm sitting on 1229 right now and have majority of the team items and shoes. I also have 80k of MT as well and on my 3rd prestige in the amethyst league.

i don't see a point of grinding out yet when they just keep releasing cards better or as good as the rewards... i would save the collection grind for the summer and do that last... everytime i get over 700 i just liquidate to about 650 and make 30,000..

Anyone still chasing PD Kobe? or already cashed out to get these Dream Team collections?

Cashed out at 2050 cards. No point...clyde is already better for overall and i expect new PD releases with low intangibles to be even better. Selling everything tp get ready for all star packs.

Just threw in Kiki into some PvCPU games for fun. With a shoe to bring his Post-Fade to 91. On All-Star difficulty only, keep in mind, but got green releases for like 50% of my post-fade attempts.

The last couple of years, the offensive emphasis has definitely been on 3-point shooting. There's a natural tendency that way now that everyone recognizes the efficiency of good 3-point looks. But, this year, the game has made mid-range much more viable and the variety of moves that one can make is nice and makes mid-range offense just plain fun to concentrate on.

The nice thing about Kiki is that he excels at so many of those shots, and if you get behind and need some 3s, he's your guy.

For sure. What I'm mainly doing is working midrange with Kiki first. Because people will assume that he's only in to shoot threes.

Then, when I can see them pay close attention to him holding ball in midrange, then run 3-point plays for him and re-surprise them.

Re: The collection grind...who's going for it

Finally reached Wilt! 200 more till Mamba. Took advantage of the market crash over the weekend and spent ~1 million MT to add 150 cards to my collection.

I also bought 6 Porzingis, 2 Anthony Davis, and 3 Gordons from the market. I'm hoping they go back up in value next week. Between flipping those, and selling back the 30 or so most expensive moment cards, I'm hoping to build my bankroll back up over 4 million MT to make a run for Kobe 2 months from now.

I definitely want the updated Kobe. Wilt is meh to me. He looks like a beast in the low post, but he wouldn't make my LU over DRob, Sabonis and Ewing, who are all more versatile than he is.

I sold all of my collection once i got jerry west but before they updated Kobe.....now i want him again. Im sitting at 1650 cards and 2 million MT but im missing like 200 cards on jerseys coaches etc i still gotta buy back. I have no interest in wilt. I think im gonna wait till april or may once kobe is somewhat attainable before going for him again.

Just hit 1300 cards for the Hayes reward. I stopped collecting earlier but after they updated the rewards I think I will go for Kiki/Hill/King too before selling.

The Hayes card is interesting and I rarely see him mentioned on this forum. Between Wallace, Reed & McGinnis, I've been set at PF with reward players this year. I'm currently running those 3 along with 2 Centers as the 5 bigs in my lineup.

I'll have to play with him to get a feel for his game, but I think Hayes may bump Wallace off the team. I love Wallace's defense, but his offense is just non-existent. He's also not a viable defensive center against post-oriented 7 footers.

Does anyone who have Hayes run him regularly?

For anyone who wants to bump their count by 1, the mysterious East bronze logo they added a two months ago is a historic sixers logo.

Hit 1400 cards today for Kiki. Do people still use him in the higher leagues or is his defense too exploitable?

He looks like a somewhat weaker version of Diamond Harden. He's a significantly worse playmaker, somewhat worse athletically, and even more mediocre defensively. He shoots just as well, is 3 inches taller, and has a much better post game than Harden however.

Where have others ran Kiki? At the 3? The 4? Or even the 2?

Kiki is my starting SF and I won PD Duncan with him (see team below)
In reality when I won, I didn't had Penny (Francis was starting with Wrold B. Free as bench) and Wilt was my main center

I always use a 250MT silver Nike shoe of +6 Lateral quickness + 6 acceleration that helps and I can' say I had any issue with his D whatsoever. His strength helps. Anyway if my opponent has any shooter I reassing Kiki to him
