Iverson and Nash have the same basic Guard layup/floater package. So if you like that one, pretty much every PG in the game who doesn't have a signature layup package will have that same floater animation package.

The floater is an integral part of my game, so the Parker package really adds quite a bit to my game. He's got by far the fastest and smoothest floater release. Rose seems to have the most variations as far as different floater releases.

I have Towns and David Robinson, and the only thing I don't like about them is that fade animation. I have a real tough time with it, and even struggle to hit it in freestyle. Does anyone else struggle with that fade? Or is this a secret weapon I'm not utilizing to its fullest potential?

I press the shoot button and left stick directly away from the basket, with Porzingis he just creates so much space with that animation and his length. Most PF's have no chance of getting a good contest on that. I think even though it's a post fade shot, timing of the release is still similar to a normal jump shot . I'm able to hit green on Porzingis's post fades much better than I can with Robinson's.

I played a youtuber by the name of NCNATIVE94 last night and he had Pink Diamond Kobe. Also had PD Love first time I felt overpowered since I built my current squad.

His starting five was Tmac, Kobe, VC, Durant, Wilt. We were tied in the 1st quarter and he quit I messaged him and he claimed he had something to do. I'm thinking he was looking for a scrub to showcase Kobe for his channel because I was making him work for everything.

^^ I follow NCNATIVE94 and he is actually good at the game and would not quit so I find that interesting. Your lineup must be crazy as well if you kept up with him good stuff.

The mamba is so close I can smell it! I will be getting the remaining cards next weekend to wrap this up.

I didn't think I would come close to Kobe at the beginning of the year. But given the obscene amount people of invested in this game to make most cards abundant and cheap to acquire, I should be able to get both Kobe Barkley with minimum spend.

I still have 35 reasonably cheap moment cards I can get without breaking the bank. That plus the remaining Wizards/Mavs set and the cheap event cards I haven't collected should only cost me 600-800K and get me to 2.5K next weekend. After that, it's all about unloading the sellable cards and get the bank roll up high to spend freely on remaining themes and PO cards.

Did you lock in any TBT collections?
Im at 2360 cards right now and i have 2.5 mil MT but the only cards im missing really are the TBT cards that go for 20-30k per gold. I can spend that 2.5 mil but i still won't be able to get it today and i would have to lock in TBT cards. I think im gonna wait. Im gonna end up getting Barkley also so ill have enough cards its just the closer you are getting to him the harder it is to wait. I almost said FK it last night and was gonna buy every single overpriced TBT card on AH and lock in every single TBT team which would probably net me Kobe on thursday..........or i can keep my MT and just wait another month for more cards to come out. Ugh..

The game has a shelf life, and at the rate they're releasing these top end cards, that Kobe is going to look less and less appealing the longer you wait to lock him in.

I mean, don't get me wrong - I don't care. Even if I lock him in the week before 2k18 comes out, I'm still gonna do it. But if you want to get the most bang for your buck in MTO or whatever, I'd move quickly.

I am only missing Ruby McGinnis, Mo Cheeks, Eaton, A.C. Green and Saphhire Steve Francis from all historic collections released so far. I have locked in 15 and have 9 other sets completed. But I plan on reselling those once I hit Kobe, no point of locking in historics anymore. I also have USA Drexler, Mullin and Laettner collections completed but haven't locked in yet.

If you're 140 cards away, I suggest you wait 2-3 weeks till PO cards drop. Should have plenty of cards available by then. If you want to get Barkley eventually, do not lock in any of the collections, you have resell many of your cards. I suspect the last 3 collections will be hella expensive. This Gamebreaker collection will take anywhere from 1-1.3 mil MT to complete.

Kobe is guaranteed to get an update....because his Diamond will be much better than his PD badge wise compared to cards out now. So im thinking he'll get an update on Mamba day. As far as locking him quickly...thast the thing. I can lock him in this week and lose about 2.5 mt since im gonna have to lock in TBTs or i can lock him in next month and keep my at least 2 mil MT and use that for team USA players. I think at this point its just a matter of a month.

I have every single team USA collection complete already. Im gonna complete the last 3 also, mainly through VC but its nice having some MT on the side incase i just wanna purchase these players. Also with the MT I have now i can get to about 2484 cards today, but ill lose over 2 million MT. Basically is Kobe worth about 3 million MT in locked in cards all together to get him this Thursday? Or just wait till he's cheaper.

Michigan did make a good point though, there is a shelf life to this game (even though im not getting 2k18 and till after xmas and will be playing this game for almost another year). In the end everything will drop in price. My other issue is...no point in rushing because he hasn't been updated just yet. Once he gets his 10 HOF badges like Barkley or even 7 then its probably time to lock in. I also suspect more people will go for him so prices will increase on all cards........unless they drop a pack with all TBT teams, which will bring historics value way down.

I'm 55 cards away as of this morning.

I suspect that they'd re-release some of the earlier TBT packs soon to milk the cow a bit more. They already did a buzzer beater pack for the Heat TBT packs. And like I said earlier, we should expect more PO cards released when PO starts. So your decision is whether you want to wait 2 weeks and save possibly a few hundred K MT and possibly invest that into a very good PO card, or get Kobe this week.

I could have gotten Kobe a couple of weeks ago like some of the Youtubers did, I had 4-5 million MT sitting around and I ended up invested in a bunch of cards that I considered buy-lows. I just felt like Kobe isn't the end all be all for me, I need more MT for other cards down the road and by waiting a couple of weeks, I could probably save 500-700k MT, and I also have a busy work schedule for the past few weeks and won't be able to play much even if I got him.

That makes absolutely perfect sense...Especially since they haven't upgraded him yet. Im gonna wait. I need to make sure i can complete the next3 team USA sets first. Thats more important right now.
