I wouldn't put them on Penny. Unless you're a huge Penny fan and he'll be in your endgame line up no matter what.

Pragmatically, he's not an endgame card. I think the threshold is now at least a couple HoF badges and very good personality badging, and low Intangibles.

So you think I should save them? I've had Penny as my starter for the past 2 months and figure he will be at least somewhere on my team for the rest of the game... can't afford the super expensive cards haha

Just went 8-0 in Sapphire league to get a diamond shoe and it was the Currys!!! +9 SWB +9 Speed +9 Acceleration. How do you guys think I should put it on? I was thinking Penny because he's low 90s for all three of those categories.

It'll be a good fit for him but before you commit try him out with the gold UA +6 SWB, +3 speed & +9 acceleration first. If he feels much faster and plays better for you commit to the diamond shoe.

I'm grinding through prestige 3 right now and enjoying this lineup a lot. Lou Hudson is just the perfect shooting guard for me, PG24 is wet, and then off the bench Marc Gasol is a monster.

Why not put the Curry shoe on Hudson? Since you love him anyway, that shoe would make him even more effective.

The post fade, post control, shot close shoe seems perfect for TMac or George. The accel, driving layup, shot close shoe would work really well for TMac.

Well I use Lou in the P&R a fair amount so I usually like having a +9 converse BC shoe... but that could work too. Thanks for the help; will be putting the acceleration one in Tmac [emoji1360]

After taking a major L on 900k VC and then going through a ridiculously cold streak on MTO, I decided to take a few days off and retool a bit. PD West is an amazing shooter, but I just couldn't seem to dribble with him. I've been using Jason Williams on my challenge squads a lot, and I wanted a dribbling PG who plays good defense for my main squad. I looked at the new Payton, but the Ruby sucked, and I already have a Diamond Oscar, so I didn't want another one. Those two are boring - you see them in people's lineups constantly.

I wanted someone better anyway, and preferably with some flavor. So I went out and finished Diamond Clyde Frazier. Oh hell yes. 6'4" is a good size for a PG (and I've got Diamond Magic if someone tries to cheese with a big PG), and his release makes up for his above average shooting atts. His tendencies are nearly perfect and he has HOF Defensive Stopper. But the best part is that he has the best dribble animations I've ever used. I actually switched my MyPlayer's dribble moves to match his. Amazing card.

Next up, I think I'm going to work on finishing the Jazz set for that Diamond Adrian Dantley and work on that Earl The Pearl Monroe Wizards set.

At this point just waiting for a few more cards to come out to get kobe and last 3 team usa sets for Barkley. Btw stockton is a lot of fun! Best shooting card iv played with..he doesn't miss and i get most amount of greens with him. Maybe they did that because hes so small.

Made two HUGE additions yesterday and I'm loving them both already. Diamond Oscar Robertson and Pink Diamond Elgin Baylor are no joke. The only card left that matters to me is Diamond LeBron. The rest of my team is set, and I'm loving it.

Thanks man. Wilt is really really good! Normally i don't run centers that cant shoot but this guy has 96 speed and acceleration with ba shoe. Also the best rebounder in the game imo. Hes a defensive beast. Also relentless finisher HOF badge adds another dimension to him as far as finishing around the rim. I highly recommend him!!!

Last night I decided, F it, and locked in Artest. Also did the week's challenges and finally got Baylor.

Played several more games with Baylor. Didn't expect it, but for me, at SG, he was a scoring machine. This was vs CPU on All Star, so take with grain of salt. But at least was vs Jordan in the final Hist Dom game.

Also despite the CPU doubling him whenever I posted up with him. So his points were just opportunistic. He just rarely let me down. People have complained about his standing J, but I have meter off and was shooting ridiculously efficient from jump street.

Played a CPU game and one MTO game with Artest. No firm opinions, but he does feel as I expected, on D: like a smaller Wallace. Elite in helping one stay in front with on ball, and so he stalls drives before they can get going.

What is expected from his stats, but which was still a pleasamt surprise is that he is a pretty fluid ballhandler. And while I'm hit and miss on jumpers, still talking a 50-50 shooter.

Vs the CPU, there were a couple times when I manualed him to jump.a passing lane when I sensed it was right time. Didn't get him in perfect position, but when I manually hit Steal, he did a slight teleport to the right spot to intercept.

For PC, I got him at bargain cost: just under 100K. Opportunity cost right now might be about 150-175K, and while it's early, I don't regret it.

My MTO game came down to the last possession, which was my opponent's, with me up by 3. It was really nice to trot out this stopper lineup:

Wallace
Artest
Pierce
Battier
Robinson

Oh, and played a lot of Robinson at 4 and Gasol at 5. Would've felt bad, normally, but opponent is one of the guys who plays Full Court Trap the entire game, so F him. The cheese works great. Incredible rebounding. A mismatch at 4. And only in my favor because he didn't try to run a super speedy handler Stretch 4.

New squad after adding Baylor and Yao. I haven't played with the Amethyst Yao in a while so I wanted to test the diamond one out. Card is even more cheese. HOF putback king is an automatic dunk if he gets the rebound. Baylor is amazing at SG as well. He's the perfect combo of scoring, playmaking and defense. He operates as my second ball handler too so it's great he can wear the converse ball control shoe. If we get a diamond John Wall for TBT on Thursday I'll be adding him as my bench PG and sliding Harden and PG to their normal positions.

KAT on the bench 4 has been a new addition in place of Dirk. KAT has been snagging heaps of boards and has a servicable shot, tho obviously not as splashy as Dirk.

I feel like I need to take out Harden asap... prefer a more solid all rounder SG. Kinda wanna chage Amy Magic too but he's definitely been a star 6th and lowkey MVP for this side. Been doing all the dirty work when it's asked of him... thanks guys for the hot tip to pick him up weeks and months ago

Oh and The Glove has been absolute lockdown. He must be so annoying to play against... I put rim protector on him and his mere presence on the court seems to make ppl miss. Another blue collar jayballa beast

I like your squad. We have similar starting units. You mentioned dropping harden.. Have you considered putting butler at the 2 and grabbing someone like Pg13 for your bench 3? Going butler/pg or butler/kawhi will really buff up your bench perimeter D.
