Nice lineup. How's that Wall does he finish as well as his numbers? How about his outside shot is it consistent?

Wall finishes way better than his numbers suggest. He just needs a slight lane to the basket and he's dunking on any and everyone in his way. He has probably the easiest release to green in the game and his moving mid is automatic and from 3 if he's open its going in. Card is a lot of fun to play with.

Magic is way too expensive for me right now so I decided to add J-Wall instead and this card is ridiculous. I didn't play with the Amethyst cause I knew he was getting a diamond. I wish I bought him on Tuesday though cause I could have saved about 20-30k but I know I can make all that back this weekend working the auction house. Once I sell AI I should be back up to 300k. Hopefully Shaq dips to around 400k next week to so I can pick him up and move Ewing to my bench center.

Played a friendly against someone last night and, in general, I was playing pretty poorly and he was playing pretty well, but John Wall, specifically was dunking all over me. Just a bit of an opening and a bit of a runaround and, boom, he's airborne...and he's not getting stopped at the rim.

I'm a little curious how Wall can do against a well-controlled post-up guard like Magic or Oscar. Wall's special in his 82 Low Post DIQ. 60 Strength is meh, but Magic will back down most any guard, so I think what might be more important is to not get sucked into crap animations so much, and really good Shot Contest. Wall's SC is only 85, but of course that can be 94 with a shoe.

Then again, once shoes are added to the equation, then Wall aggregately may fare no better than GP, also 6'4", -15lbs but +22 Strength, -12 LPDIQ but only -3 with a shoe, and still +2 Contest after Wall uses a SC shoe.

Then AGAIN, Wall has 66 Block versus GP's 37. I wonder if Block only matters in terms of improving odds of getting a block...or if the Block rating becomes the more relevant, or an enhancing rating to a shot contest, when one "attempts" a block but it's really just a contest, because you don't get the block but are in the shooter's face.

So after playing with and dominating with my all time favorite player, '06 Diamond Dwyane Wade, I'm ready to move on and try another beastly card. Well, two come to mind:

Diamond Antetokounmpo or Diamond Anthony Davis. I already went through their ratings and both have their own strengths. It would be appreciated if someone who used one of them or even possibly both of them could give me a review on their experiences with them.

I've used both, and they're both great. Davis is the more well-rounded player because his post animations are fantastic and I find his shooting animation easier to green. He's money on dunks and lobs (HOF Posterizer and Lob City Finisher) He's also a great perimeter defender, a good post defender, and a great rebounder.

Giannis has really good defense, is a terror in transition (HOF One Man Fast Break & Posterizer), is the superior playmaker and makes a ton of "wow" plays. I'm talking dunks where both he and the defender end up on the ground for 5 seconds after because of how hard he just yammed on them. If you're looking to run him at the 4 though, he will get pushed around because he's weak and has bad Low Post D IQ.

In the end, it's going to depend on your style of play and how you use them. Davis is the better all around player in my opinion, but Giannis has the higher fun factor.

Thank you, Nick. It's funny you mentioned running Giannis at PF because that was exactly what I was going to do. I too noticed how low his strength/post defensive ratings were but I imagined his height would make up for it. His athleticism is very enticing but due to AD's edge in the low post and his rebounding, I'm leaning towards him.

The squad is pretty much done at this point. I added Clyde last night and I'm thoroughly enjoying him as my starter. I'm still holding out hope for a better diamond Kobe though but if we don't get one then I am completely fine with Clyde as my starter for the rest of the game. Also I'm testing out this Iggy as my backup SF and can't believe this card is going for 15k. I had to sell PG and Kemp to get Shaq but I know I can get both of them back once I get my MT back up.

I'm with you on Iggy. His Ruby card was one of the very best in the game in its first few months and I loved that one. This one is an upgrade in every conceivable way. He can absolutely be your secondary ball handler, he finishes a ton of dunks in tight spaces, his shot is quick and smooth, and his defense is elite. Just a really fun and versatile card.

I won a bid for Kawhi overnight for 314K and was able to complete the Playoff Performers set! Thanks to some auction house grinding I was able to do it without selling Gary Payton, who is one of my favorite players of the year and arguably my most consistent player. There's really no way to demonstrably improve my team at this point, and I'm down to 20K MT anyways, so I'm going to keep playing my @$$ off to try to get to PD Duncan. Some notes on the new roster:

-I put Kawhi in LeBron's spot in the starting lineup because I'm not hurting on offense and Kawhi is a more destructive defender. Plus that HOF Catch & Shoot will come in really handy when kicking off of drives with Jordan and Magic
-I moved Oscar to SG on my 2nd unit because I want Payton guarding the point and I'm going to instinctively be giving the ball to MJ on the first unit off of every rebound. I figured I might as well keep it consistent and have my SG lead the break on both units
-I've got 3 HOF Defensive Stoppers on each unit, with HOF D. Stopper/Rim Protectors at C
-I've been partial to twin towers lineups because I feel that most MTO players don't put enough stock in rebounding, and every rebound has added importance in 5 minute quarters. I'm comfortable with Bird at the 4 because he has good strength, rebounding, lat quickness and Post D IQ, and with his shooting he'll occupy the other team's 4 out in space. If I'm getting killed on the boards, I've got D Rob on the bench just in case.
-I was inspired by watching Earv hound people on defense with MJ, so I'm going to have him guard the point. The only exception may be when I run up against another Magic
-I'm really excited to run the all HOF Defensive Stopper unit of Payton/Jordan/Kawhi/Russell/Shaq
-I spent part of the afternoon sniping and now every player in my lineup is fully badged out with 50+ contracts and most are wearing gold or silver shoes. I'm good to go for my first shot at PD League on my second prestige!

I have collected every no PO card in this game, and decided to collect the remaining pieces to lock in for collection rewards. I spent half of my remaining 5M MT and end up completing all 2k17 collections (outside of Phillies and Bucks historic), including the MJ and Barkley collection.

Have tried MJ and Barkley in practice only, loved MJ's dribble animations, even better than PD Kobe's. Barkley is a 6'6" PF who can speed boost, but I'm not sure how the lack of size will play in game. Best suited as a bruising 3.

Here are 3 different LU I will test out this week. Which one ya fav?

1st Lineup- Dope seeing the whole Dream Team squad with Zeke added like it should have been in real life.

2nd and 3rd are both cheesy with MJ at point but I would go with the 3rd just because of the Amount of Dynamic Duos it Contains. That's lineup is the Zeus Among god squads

It was a shame Zeke was snubbed, but not a tough decision between having him or MJ on the team.
