I like the third one the best. That starting five is sick, and then with Magic, Bird and Worthy off the bench.

I also think third is the best. What a lineup. So jealous of people who with Bird who can take advantage of that McHale duo.

Finally got Ralph Sampson and was able to get out of the Ruby league. No small feat. I owe it all to Sampson, such size. Such power. I prefer all my players to be able to bully the **** out of anyone in their path, and Sampson is the absolute best at this. This is what I'm running at the moment.

The main feature of this lineup is Iggy at point. Copped him with those neon green DI shoes so he now has a 98 speed with ball. He is literally a god.

Have tried MJ and Barkley in practice only, loved MJ's dribble animations, even better than PD Kobe's. Barkley is a 6'6" PF who can speed boost, but I'm not sure how the lack of size will play in game. Best suited as a bruising 3.

Here are 3 different LU I will test out this week. Which one ya fav?

Nice lineup in your second lineup off the bench do you run McHale at center and Bird at the 4? If so how's McHale there?

I take it by matchups. Most teams do not have a bruising C like Shaq, Hakeem, or Kareem off the bench so McHale hasn't been abused in the post defensively. He's definitely mobile enough to guard most centers. I put a cheap +6 strength shoe on him to get it to 99. If I run him at the 4 more, I'd put a +6 LQ and Acc shoe to make him even more mobile. Offensively, he's doing just fine in pace motion cut in catch and shoot and limited postup opportunities.

The one thing I didn't like as I posted in the DD thread is the lack of height between Bird and McHale, which really hurt the rebounding department. I wouldn't run that duo for extended period of time if opponent has tall front court in their reserve.

Re: Lineup Roll call...what your squads looking like?!!?!

Here's what I'm rolling currently. I bid on that Shaq with a Diamond contract before bed last night and woke up this morning to find that I had won it. With the Duo boost, there are only 5 atts that Kobe has that aren't at least a 96, and most are 99s. Bird is ridiculous. I've realized that while two motion shots are slower, they're so much easier to hit in this game that it's worth it. It has taken some time to get used to the idea that I can just shoot with him from the hash marks and he's going to hit it, so I kind of try to take a deep breath just before I pass to him and focus on the animation and he's just money. It's weird how a card that is so good on its own has made me better at the game and better with other players. I've had him for a long time, but I really hate that Robinson. Defensively, he's an animal. Offensively, he's basically useless. He misses at least one dunk per game, his post move animations suck, and his 3 ball is unreliable. His defense and the fact that I have skill at all the other positions is the only reason I leave him in my lineup. By the end of most games, Chambers has taken his spot.

I don't think I'm going to be able to make it to PD Jordan. My next move will be to get that 98 Kareem to replace Robinson at the 4. Laettner isn't going anywhere as my backup 4, so Robinson will either take Chambers' spot or he'll be out of my lineup entirely. Other than that, I'm looking at Diamond Payton to replace Goodrich as my backup 2 (I like to run 2 PGs when I can, and I've got Payton's animations down). Then I'll work toward saving up enough for that 98 Magic. Otherwise, this is my end game roster.

Unless you run a freelance like horn, running Robinson at the 4 at this stage just won't cut it. He's slow, a bad passer, not a good outside shooter, and post game isn't specular, just not a good fit at the 4 anymore. Consider someone like KG, KAT, Hakeem with a cheap +6 3pt (UA) shoe, or even move Bird to to 4 and get someone like PG at the 3. It just makes your offense so much more dynamic. You can move Robinson to Chambers spot and use him for defensive purposes.

I see you already have Worthy. So ponying up the MT to get the 98 Magic and replace Robinson and Walt In the starting LU is another option. That DD is honestly my favorite in the game, making Magic a better outside shooter AND dunker, at the same time Worthy gets ridiculous boost as an outside shooter.

I don't use Robinson on the offensive end unless he has a wide open dunk or a big time mismatch. His speed has never been an issue for me, as that really only comes into play in transition, on offense, and on closeouts. It would be nice if he were a better 3pt shooter, but I have the discipline not to try with him. Like I said in my post, I'm going to get Kareem to play the 4 with Laettner backing him up.

Yeah, as I mentioned in my post, I'm planning on getting Magic. It'll take awhile to get the MT for that. I'll probably get Kareem first, then Payton, then Magic.

Should I sell diamond mj for diamond kobe? I have diamond pg which gives the duo boost. My concern is lack of amy badges on the kobe and pg. it makes George an absolute animal statistically but mj has he badges, insane defense skill and I rock a speed shoe on him. Are the badges the deal breaker? I have diamond glove, kemp and shaq around those guys as well

For questions like this, you should probably go to these forums.

But anyway, I've heard that that Kobe plays a lot like Amy Kobe.

Considering whether to get Gary Payton to DD with my Kemp, or DI John Wall now that they're both roughly 100k. Wall seems ridiculously good. Has anyone tried both and preferred one over the other?

If you really want to play Kemp, then I'd go with GP. Kemp is *much* better, and GP also better. And he's excellent to begin with.

Kind of depends on how you play too, of course. I personally am not drawn to the Wall/Westbrook type.

If you're on PS4, Payton is about 80k. I don't know about Wall. I only use him in challenges where you need to be able to dunk with your PG (and I use the Ruby version). He's good enough. I'd go with Payton for sure. But I don't usually try to dunk with my PG.

Went with Payton. He's fantastic with the duo, can literally do everything. He can even post spin cheese on smaller point guards. It's great.

Pulled PD Isaiah in blacktop today... literally **** myself from happiness. Only took 10 months and over 2,000 games. Really looking forward to seeing what his HOF bruiser badge can do. He's the only PG in the game with it.

Another card I'm going for now that he's ridiculously cheap to complete is Tom Chambers. He doesn't seem statistically good enough compared to the newer cards (he's basically a worse stoudemire) but I'm hoping his animations and his hair will make up for his lack of stats.

PD isiah can surprise you sometimes, I get some and1 standing layups with him on the yao mings of 2k. I draw alot of fouls with him on pnr drives also.

Been waiting for weeks for his dynamic duo boost with dumars but wow 2k been slacking on these updates.

I just bought Payton this evening as well. Haven't had a chance to use him yet, but his Ruby plays like a Diamond for me already.

You're gonna love Chambers. That was the first Historic Collection I completed (I've done 28 so far), and he's still one of my favorites. He dunks on everything. His shot release looks stupid, but you get used to it quickly, and he hits his shots. He doesn't block a lot of shots, and his defense isn't the best, but he's a LOT of fun to use. And offensively, he's an animal.
