I'm happy I'm not the only one experiencing this rubbish equalizer... in fact I'm going to change my lineup because it's getting harder the more diamonds you have... feels like I Iocked these historic collections for nothing

Haha yeah, I thought I was really bad at this game because I kept reading about everyone going undefeated but I was struggling to go .500, I was thinking it was darn near impossible! Now I understand how people do it. I'm soo ready to dominate next year haha they better not make major changes to the system!

It's just too obvious how the system tries to even out match-making. Look, if I go against other Amy players or higher the game feels like it's completly balanced with no one having advantages with sliders etc. it only comes down to skill as it should be and cards act like the supposed to.

But if I go with full diamond lineup against a emerald team and the opponent is multiple tiers under me, the script takes over and "balances" the game. I witnessed the most ridiculous situations where you just knew that the low tier emerald team gets advantages...

Suddenly the diamond players miss multiple wide open shots, lose balls always end up in the hands of the weaker team (especially in the 4th)...the list goes on...

If you don't have a god squad you can not make these MTO experiences, but I'm glad that multiple persons in here recall these situations.

Basically you get punished for grinding/spending money. I guess if you aim at building a low OVR team and abusing duo boosts etc you get the most out of MTO.

Shouldn't be this way.

my current squad im on a 40+ game win streak i swept the diamond and pink diamond leagues grinding for pd Tim Duncan know


im getting rid of magic though as soon as he leaves packs he is trash

im in need of a dead eye shooter any suggestions its my only weakness, i tried ray allen but he was to small didnt finish at the rim very well either so i sold him back

i JUST sent something in to Mike Wang about this. they are punishing guys that really work hard to get good players. the reward should be having guys that perform as their stats suggest. I've had games where they go out and hammer another team...but ive had games where Kristaps Porzingis is blocking Diamond Shaq's power dunks. DIAMOND SHAQ. probably the one shot in life that is impossible to block.

like come on bro...we aren't stupid. these guys are lowering the effectiveness of all diamond teams to give guys with emerald teams a chance.......but **** that. thats not real life. thats not basketball. if the Cavs play a d-league team.....guess what happens? blow out. why? because better players make more shots, play defense, and execute better in half court. now...am i saying that it should be a W as soon at the game starts? no. if a guy is completely full of it, jacking shots from any and everywhere, then his gameplan got him beaten and the guy with the emerald team deserves to win. but that aint what's happening. we are contesting shots...they are either making every shot they throw up, shooting 70% a game with bum *** emerald cards...or they are getting all the offensive rebounds for putbacks. i had gone my first 15 games without experiencing this ****. then all of a sudden, it just keeps happening. it was like the second i got Ewing as well. this isnt basketball bro. My guys should simply be abusive. and me losing should be because that guy was simply better than me and executed better. not because 2K felt like equalizing the players out. thats not why we ****ing go after these cards.

I just think it's a lot more about stick skills this year. If someone's good with diamonds it shows... if they just habe diamonds and don't make basketball moves it hurts. I've been winning a lot more games recently and my lineups gotten a lot better... I think it's placebo maybe

No, it's definately worked into their momentum system. There are ways to manipulate it (timeouts) but it is 100% part of the game.

But basketball really is a game of runs. Where do we draw the line on what we feel and what is in real life? Timeouts are meant to kill momentum and flow in real life? Why is having to use them to stop them in 2k different?

I feel other years were a lot more prone than this year to it and timeouts usually stop the madness for me. If I see wacky **** going on I just call one and back out. Also just can take a breath

man stop. this is the one community where guys consistently give 2K the benefit of the doubt. just stop. we know the damn difference b/w runs and a consistent performance, stretched out over a few games. if a guy goes on ONE 7-0 run. fine. IF A GUY CANT MISS ALL GAME AND IS TURBOING THROWING UP 3s WITH WHOMEVER JUST BECAUSE HE WANTS TO GET A SHOT UP THATS DIFFERENT.
