Boogie doesn't have Defensive Anchor badge though, whereas Laimbeer does. I'd just grab Hakeem but I already have Zo and Shaq, and Laimbeer's shooting means he could shift to the 4 for spurts if necessaryComment

just a heads up if you don't already know, Lambeer has a really wonky release, probably the hardest one I've used so farComment

It's slow and difficult so you try him out before you think that you might shoot frequently with him.Comment

Abandoned my quest for Laimbeer and compromised with sapphire Kawhi seeing he has defensive anchor. Was a little worried about his offense but he just won a game for me with a buzzer beating layup over diamond Shaq lol.
I got lucky, my opponent must have been salty as hell :oComment

Re: Lineup Roll call...what your squads looking like?!!?!
Looking for some suggestions for upgrading my lineup. Currently have the following lineup and was thinking of getting Hakeem or Ruby AD as a backup C. Have about 50-60k MT. Any other positionss that would be better suited spending my MT on?Attached FilesComment

You see this on your screen wyd?
New squad
I change magic to Brodie whenever they don't have a tall point guard. Run mostly a ten man lineup.

Re: Lineup Roll call...what your squads looking like?!!?!
I would ditch Current Russ since you have Franchise and Franchise is hands-down a better card. With your cards, I'd probably start Franchise at 1, move Coop to starting 2, move Steph and Klay to your bench squad, and ditch Russ for a rim protector.
I would look at a Moments DJ or Moments Gobert or Big Men Mutombo. Or save up for Big Men Hakeem. That makes a lot of sense, especially since he may appreciate more in the near future.
I don't think it makes sense to have Boogie and Edwards in a lineup at this point in the game. At least not if you're not going to run Boogie with Wall. If you want to have the option of a center who is a good post scorer and has 3-point range, I would actually consider Moments Emerald Brook Lopez, who is a better shooter than non-duo Boogie, and a better defender. Maybe a Moments Gasol.Comment

My thought is that the one thing you're lacking is truly legit rim protection. AD is a good defender, but he's small and weak for a Center. Edwards and Boogie are both very strong, but both are underwhelming as defenders. (It makes sense to keep AD as he's the one guy you have who you can slot in at the 4 to stand up to post-up 4's.)

Emerald D12 is also great for me. Only plays a few minutes usually. But with his gold Peak speed shoe, he is really quick up the court. If someone wanted to get funky, they could probably put a OMFB badge on him, and he would be a fastbreak god.
For the MT, those 2 emeralds are great.
The advice regarding Hakeem is good as well. Find one around 50k.
As far as price appreciation, I can see where time would cause this....BUT with the release of Amethysts being more and more abundant/frequent as the season progresses, be cautious. Magic has barely changed at all, and hes been out of packs over a week. It seems the thing that is causing appreciation on ANY card more than anything else.....new duos. Barry went from 15k to 25-30k in a matter of hours. Either way, it will be interesting to see how the market reacts as more top-shelf players (90+) drop. Especially when Moments cards break the Ruby tier.Comment

Re: Lineup Roll call...what your squads looking like?!!?!
Made some big progress in card acquisition on the Rewards front, recently, finishing and locking in the Trailblazers for Diamond Sabonis, locking in the Hornets for Diamond Larry Johnson, and these "moves" pushing me past the threshold for Diamond Grant Hill.
Not really sure how to arrange my lineup(s) now. I feel like the only musts in my starters are Sabonis at 5, LJ at 4, and Magic at 1 (and not even necessarily Magic at 1).
The second "lineup" I'm showing here is "overflow" of high-end cards I also like.
I actually think, if the main gameplan for my starting lineup is to build off of Magic posting up, it probably makes more sense to prioritize shooting at 2-4. So, then, run:
Magic / Rip / Pierce / Walker / Sabonis
And then maybe run a bench of:
Westbrook / Hill / Kawhi / LJ / Kareem or Lanier
I'd like to keep MRR in the lineup, somewhere, because he's the best defender to lock down someone like a Curry (faster than Magic).
And I feel weird about not finding a place for Shawn Marion. Probably would make sense taking Josh Smith out for Marion. But I've been having a lot of fun running P&R with Smoove and him throwing down alley-oops like crazy.
Also feel weird about not having a slot for Ben Wallace. And Hakeem.
But I think I'm also just manufacturing dilemmas. There's an embarrassment of riches here and a multitude of possible configurations that all make a lot of sense.Comment
