Im just recently over the past 4 games or so figuring out how to use the ruby Butler and I had him for like 20 plus games lol. But man hes solid he really grew on me Id love to make a run at the diamond Butler and just set it and forget it.

Im sitting at 43k MT right now. Just recently spent 30k on a fully gold badged Ruby Giannis and 12k on Muresan. Somebody sniped a 5k buy now Muresan literally a second before I could buy it.

I used to badge all my bigs with the brick wall but damn on everyone is just creative as hell. One of the reasons I love this mode. Thats a damn good strategy. I just checked PS4 auction house and the cheapest buy now Diamond Butler is 39k.

Edit: Theres a 19 gold badge Diamond Jimmy for 57k jesus christ I want that card.

It won't be the last. Diamond Butlers are plentiful on the market (I'm on PS4), and a decent amount of them are well badged. I bought mine for under 40K a month ago and it had 14 or 15 gold badges on it. If you're patient, you'll get an opportunity for fully badged Butler for less than 57K.

Have you tried replacing Payton with Fat Lever? Lever is also cheap, plays great defense and can shoot.

I actually have the ruby Fat Lever and played with him a few times but I never gave him a fair shot because Gary Payton with extend pressure just seems to harass the hell out of every PG.

Im going to give Lever some extended run behind Conley and Ill post how it went. In the little time I did dabble with him he pushes the hell out of the ball on breaks, can dunk, rebound, shoot, pass and defend. In hindsight I shouldve played him more.

Be a little patient. New theme packs come out today, and that usually floods the market. Moments cards tend to go down when that happens.

Good call I completely forgot the new packs come out in a few hours. Im just going to play a few games and be patient and see if some steals open up on the AH.

Sorry to ask, don't you have spacing issues with your starting line-up?

What happens if your opponent plays zone?

I played one game online, just trying to stack MT and get some free elite players then Ill jump on online. But with domination I do notice some spacing issues with Butler on the court over Booker/Hornacek but I recently just became lights out with his three.

When I start Webber or KAT at the 4 they open up the whole floor. And the Amy Conley card is really a lights out shooter and hell even Yao can hit middies and the occasional three. But I really want a shooting Guard who can hit everything, defend, drive and pass etc. I thought Booker would be the guy as far as shooting but his shot is just too quick for me. Other than that truthfully my whole team can shoot it.

I wish Jeff Hornacek was 6 foot 6. I dont mind talking myteam I took a break the past 2 years from 2k and was excited to get back to it this season. Someone runs zone Ill just change my line up.

Yeah, originally I was thinking about him, BUT tell me I am crazy but I won't get him for a numerous reasons

a) he is too expensive
b) sentimentaly Larry won me PD, I don't want to make him a sub all of a sudden.

c) and most importantly, Diamond Porzingis card is what I hate most about MyTeam every year. It is n fully fantasy card, with 90 3 and 80 speed at 7'3" not based in ANY specific game or performance

I won PD Duncan fair and square with a medium budget team, without various cheesing stuff like deny all/Bol&Yao's/ 5-out and manual cuts/spamming steal buttons/ turbo inbound

Diamond KP is a cheeser's paradise. Buying him, will give credit to 2k for releasing cards like this. I would be a fool to believe that it will stop because of me, but at least I will feel ok with myself.
I don't want to judge anyone who bought or will buy him. He is the most OP player of the game and since I have the MT I might had got him in my quest to PD Duncan. But now, the pressure is off I will keep them for a real legend

After seeing the new packs (T-Mac with 97 3ball, KD with 90 speed etc) I might go for Porzingis. Realism is totally out of the window,so I have to go for the best cards I can rather than limit myself

No doubt brother. Im fighting fire with fire. I spent hard earned money on this game and Im not letting the 16 year old 5 out cheesers kill my fun this year.

Someone posted him for 85k BIN 80k bid. I knew there was going to be a chump or 2 who would panic and not wait 4 hours after the new cards dropped. i was tempted to sell him but his price dropped and I think he's to good to sell

Has anyone here used the amethyst Kyrie? Curious to see how he plays as his shooting/offensive stats are ridiculous and his dribble moves are always amazing in 2K. Plus I enjoy guards who don't dunk, it looks cooler in my opinion.

Is he an absolute liability on defense?

If you play on ball def. no he's not a liability. He has the lateral quickness to stay in front of most pg, and has probably the quickest hands when it comes to steals that I have seen, and ive played with Kidd, Lever, Walt Frazier ect.


So offense hes unstoppable, defense not a lockdown defender but he holds his own.

I'm in the ruby league and just ran into a starting 5 of diamond rose diamond KD diamond vince diamond porzngis and Diamond Admiral. Off the bench had diamond pippen and diamond tmac. I have two diamonds butler and ben Wallace. First time ive played against porzingis and him and KD torched me

Spent all my MT basically completing my lineup with TMac, Nash, and Towns and badging most of my players. Pettit will replace Marion when he is released and I would like to get Isiah eventually to replace Parker. Other than that I might replace Harden with a less defensively challenged SG but him having floor general is keeping him in my lineup for now.
