Any suggested playbooks for a squad with diamond jordan, GP and Shaq? Ran the raptors or bucks for the longest time but now that I have defensive squad centered around a big and jordan not sure what to run

Hey so I'm assembling a lineup around the new Kareem and I was sure I had every spot locked down and then I just don't know who to put at the 2 guard spot.

I've got a pistol Pete and AI coming off auctions while I'm at work so about 450k to work with. Tmac is glued to the bench for the DD with Yao. Here's the lineup of 4 without the SG:
Rondo/_______ /Pierce/Kemp/Kareem

My thoughts are 3 & D are the priority at this spot in a primarily 4out set. If I can get a 2 on the cheaper end (below 200k), I could replace Kemp with KG potentially. On the higher end, even though his 3 ball isn't great but boostable, that diamond MJ entices me.

Basically, who would you run at the 2 in that lineup? Thanks y'all

That diamond MJ is fantastic. I highly recommend him. I basically use him as a role player on my bench and almost every game I say to myself why the hell am I not running it to him more? After he hits a beautiful moving mid, pot fade, or pnr pass/dunk. His D is top notch too. His only weakness is his strength and I don't really notice it being bad.. Just it's low on paper. His release is so wet that his catch and shoot standing 3 is very high percentage.

The only other 2 that is all round 2 way that may be better than MJ is the Dr J slotted at Sg. Drexler is good on paper but I don't like his animations. Also I see Iverson and wade as more point guards opposed to 2 guards, though you could try either one there.

Glad to hear that about MJ, really compelling.

Funny I actually sold a Dr J right before these packs came out anticipating Kobe in a top scorers theme. I was wrong.

Might try MJ before picking Dr back up.

Saw AI was going for around 250k with the new Harden dropping today and I was able to grab one for 245k just now. His jumpshot is so smooth. He has the cheesiest dribble animations too. End game card right here for me. Shaq and Kobe is all we need and we're done upgrading.

I was informed this week that Gamestop sells discount VC, and I happened to have a gift card so I threw that on 450K VC today. I really wanted to get Maravich to run as a hybrid PG/SG on the 2nd unit with Magic. Plus, those shooting badges...woah. I don't have anyone with shooting that's in the same stratosphere as that guy, so I figured it was worth buying a box topper since people seem to be having good luck. I got an Amethyst Bob Mcadoo and a handful of rubies, and then in the topper I saw that beautiful Diamond glow...IT WAS FREAKING MARAVICH! I literally danced around the apartment haha. It's only my second Diamond pull in a theme pack (Diamond Jordan). I can't wait to run him in MTO!

I'm just trying abuse anyone I can find online. And I'll set different goals for myself to keep the game interesting, like keep the opponent below 40, score only on dunks, etc.

I like to mess around and show them this cheese lineup before switching players around. This year jumped the shark and players can be played anywhere, I could actually play this starting unit and probably be fine running motion sets.

How would you guys organize these players into a lineup? I've worked so hard on this team but I can never decide what works best. Oversized, undersized... all I know is I'm in stuck in the ruby league, and no matter what I do I get shat on. Help me dude bros.

I prefer a more traditional lineup. What I would do with your players...

Penny / Goodrich / Pierce / Kemp / Shaq
Magic / Thompson / TBD / McHale / DJ

I like that starting unit a lot actually. Penny is great at attacking. Goodrich and pierce can both snipe. And you have 2 tradional bigs, shaq can feast in low post same with kemp. And kemp has amazing speed in the pnr game. The bench I don't like as much. I feel like you need another wing player. Also not sure how it will be running McHale and DJ together. Lmk what you think and if you try it.

Yeah I feel you. The Mchale/DJ combo is annoying because of the complete lack of shooting from either. I'm trying to pick up the new Stoudemire as soon as I can, so I can try him at PF and McHale at center (he has some of the best post defense in the game, has a chance against anyone but Yao).

I usually use Wes at the 3 because of his high speed (even with the ball bc of the shoe) and insane inside game. Plus he has shooting. I'm actually gonna try that lineup with Wes as the bench SF. What your lacking is shooting on your team which doesn't allow you to space the floor more, people online like to offball d and on ruby that's just a nightmare without shooters.

I would try to sell off players like DJ/KJ/Unseld. I don't think you need unselds post game since if he's posting up, your bigs can't be in the paint and they can't shoot either. With the game it is right now you need a 4out1in lineup to win easier.
