Went with Payton. He's fantastic with the duo, can literally do everything. He can even post spin cheese on smaller point guards. It's great.

Pulled PD Isaiah in blacktop today... literally **** myself from happiness. Only took 10 months and over 2,000 games. Really looking forward to seeing what his HOF bruiser badge can do. He's the only PG in the game with it.

Another card I'm going for now that he's ridiculously cheap to complete is Tom Chambers. He doesn't seem statistically good enough compared to the newer cards (he's basically a worse stoudemire) but I'm hoping his animations and his hair will make up for his lack of stats.

Isaiah is a blast to use. It took me a bit to get used to him because I was scared to drive to the hoop with him because he is small, but now that I know he rarely gets blocked with out drawing a foul its super fun. People can't guard the Mid Range and Drive at the same time with him. I rarely even shoot 3s with him right now. Once I get used to that watch out. Running the Pick & Roll/Pop with him and Diamond Dirk is the most fun I have had all year.

So this was my 2K17. I'm pretty much done building and not really striving to spend more time or money on the highend cards like Bron/KD. I'll just aim at getting the last diamond shoes and maybe Timmy for fun. Feeling good with this squad and can variate a lot. over and out

This is it. I spent the 1.1 million MT I had to make a killer bench squad that can really fill it up. I'm about to start the Ruby League in third prestige, and PD Duncan is in my sights. I'm down to 10K MT, but I it's not like I need to add anyone. My team is exponentially better than I ever thought possible. I stocked up on enough really good gold shoes for each guy to have enough for 45 games. Plus I loaded up everyone with 66 contracts. Go time!

I'm in it right now. It took me 5 tries on my first prestige. I started 0-3 in my second prestige then rattled off 8 straight to advance. I'm 5-0 now and haven't really had anyone make me sweat.

I highly recommend learning a handful of plays, especially ones that consistently create open looks for your best shooters. Those can really help if you get into a funk on offense, and truly open looks are paramount in Ruby and above

Some guy on PSN this morning was trying to convince me PD Isiah was trash. Get oooutta here. ****ing love Isiah. He dunks WAY better than his ratings suggest layup cheese like magic, the HOF Bruiser badge is cheese as well and he's just an all around beast. For some reason he's able to defend bigger players like magic for me, likely because of the badge and his 68 strength. The high steal doesn't hurt either.

How do you like Hakeem? I just sold gary payton, bill russel and shawn kemp to net me 175k, thinking I could get him, but then his price went up. He runs around 200 now. Do you think he's worth it, or should I wait until his price drops further? **** I want Hakeem SO BAD. I already have Kareem. Having both "eems" as my centers would be sooo wet.

Hakeem probably my favorite card. Could never really get a good feel for Kareem, but Hakeem I can easily dominate in the post with and his jumper
on both standing and fadeaways is very easy to time.

I have collected every no PO card in this game, and decided to collect the remaining pieces to lock in for collection rewards. I spent half of my remaining 5M MT and end up completing all 2k17 collections (outside of Phillies and Bucks historic), including the MJ and Barkley collection.

Have tried MJ and Barkley in practice only, loved MJ's dribble animations, even better than PD Kobe's. Barkley is a 6'6" PF who can speed boost, but I'm not sure how the lack of size will play in game. Best suited as a bruising 3.

Here are 3 different LU I will test out this week. Which one ya fav?

Added a Playoff themed lineup featuring a modified infamous lineup of death starting 5.

I have played a few game with the starting 5 in a swing motion cut set and really enjoyed the all around versatility this group brings. Draymond's HOF flashy passer badge is incredible in a fast break situation with some Houdini like passes. Opposing bigs can't sag off because of his shooting, if they try to stop the ball, he zips the ball with a flashy pass into tight spaces. Defensively I just play hands up D and Dray and Bron, and rip the ball when given the chance. I call doubles or play some zone if they insist on bullying in the paint. Haven't really been an issue defensively so far. All in all, a small ball LU has been fun so far.

Was underwhelmed by the big men option in the Playoff theme. I may add Kemp or Marion to replace Antoine, but don't care enough for either guy.

After splurging on new players, I decided to sell back Curry and Dr. J to go back to some old favorites. It's amazing what 700K MT can get you on PS4 right now. I don't know if there are fewer people playing and thus less competition for high end cards or if it's because they juiced the DD packs and there are more cards on the market, or both...but I'll take it.

I added 98 Oscar with the Diamond Converse (+9 speed w/ball, moving mid and hands) for 145K, an almost fully badged KG with 88 contracts for 297K, and Hakeem for 190K. I put the Diamond Kobe VI on KG (+9 speed w/ball, moving mid and driving dunk), then badged everyone up exactly how I wanted and I've still got over 30K left. My team is now stocked with pretty much all of my favorite players from 2K17. Anything is possible but I doubt I'll be making any more changes until I can (hopefully) win PD Duncan. I'm back to my preferred twin towers lineup on both units, and I'll start 3rd prestige Amy League tomorrow.

I'm having a 24-0 run with this lineup currently. it's basically my favorite players bundled. Tmac at point might be a bit cheesy, but with the added dyn duo it's actually lot of fun! Also love to bring jordan "off the bench" but he might get more minutes than the starters... I would only love to have a heat lebron in addition but he is out of my budget and I'm not willing to spend more money or time in AH for a game which now is basically dead.

Welp this is probably my "end-game" lineup for the year.



Really would have liked to get my hands on that Diamond Curry but it's July and I'm not gonna realistically be able to grind out enough MT from now until 2K18 to get the card. Dropped 30 dollars for some VC a few weeks ago but my best pull was a Diamond West. Wish they would have released him earlier. Whatever though.

Even though 2K17s gameplay was frustrating as hell I enjoyed MyTeam this year. It wasn't even my main mode but 2K killed online ranked so I had to migrate. I liked last year's Current/Dynamic card setup better than the Moments version this year but this year's setup wasn't bad either. I liked the MTO setup and the stat tracking on cards. I absolutely hated taking Ls when people rage quit, please fix that next year.

My record is 371-84 right now but i'm gonna try to hit 400 wins before I retire for good this year. See you guys next year.
