Hill is a beast, and I think you should grind for him and King. And PD West. Then sell off and buy whatever. There's no reason not to. West is amazing.

        Animal!!

The Truth is down to 45k BIN atm. I saw one op up for 40k, hesitated and then decided to pick him up... but someone else beat me to the punch.

At 40-45k, cant see how you could go wrong with this card?! I might just have to spend the rest of my MT and just pick him up...

I picked him up for 47k 12 hours ago. N now I feel I could hv easily gotten him for 40 and under. Kinda really bothering me. But he is great. That was in MTO too.

I think 50k or less is fair for him. That 40k was quite low, I regret missing out on that.

Ended up quickselling some crappy badges and picked one up at 45k. Figure it was better to get him while I still could and that he'd be 50k minimum when the packs are over.

Anyone stocked up on Pierces while he's been going for so low?!

It's crazy how good this card is. Im avoiding MTO while I fill my roster out, but I ran him in black top and he didn't miss once. His release is my favorite in the game. Also worked on his post and ISO games in challenges and wow. I don't think its gonna matter how common this card is because you have to know how to use him to be great with him.

Yup that's the thing, 90% of ppl in MTO will not use him correctly. You have to be crafty to unlock his full potential because well he's a crafty player in real life.

Honestly if this card was going for 200k....i still would cop.
                  Lineup:
                  PG) Gary Payton
                  SG) '95-'96 Michael Jordan
                  SF) Sapphire Scottie Pippen
                  PF) '95-'96 Dennis Rodman
                  C) Hakeem Olajuwon

I'm not sure you actually need to know how to use him at all. He's got a beautiful release and stats for days. I'm not crafty at all and I just bulldoze my way through everybody on offense. On defense, he's amazing as well. I would have bought this card at 200-300k.

Absolutely, I just think the card isn't operating at its full potential if you don't have great stick skills for ISO. He may be the best iso scorer in the game especially in this price range. I remember selling Ruby Melo because I sucked with him, then some guy posted a YT vid of him going OFF in the Iso. Since then I've gotten better and guys like PP who can score from anywhere are a nightmare when you have those abilities.

I have 1 UA diamond shoe 9+ acc, spd, spd w ball
and 2 Jordan I with 9 spd w ball, driving dunk, vert

I want to use UA on PP but maybe use Jordan I and save UA shoe for later but not sure who I might use them on? (I used one on T-Mac fits perfectly)

I'd say Pierce. Speed is really good only true weakness. I have a gold SPD & SWB shoe on him and it's amazing.

I put that same UA shoe on pierce, don't regret it one bit. He's a monster

With anyone who is generally mobile, the general Park-style stick skills of juking out a defender to get to the rim are always useful.

But a particular brand of stick skills is especially relevant to guys like Carmelo and Pierce...to not necessarily work for either open jumper or open lane, but more about getting a clean post shot, or a lightly contested moving midrange jumper.

Their Contested/Off-Dribble Mid-Range ratings are so high, and both have HoF Mid-Range Deadeye (Carmelo also with HoF Difficult Shots), that one only need create just enough space for a shot to be lightly or even moderately contested, and it's a very solid shot to shoot.

So if one can just get the defender to be a fraction of a second late to follow a sidestep jumpshot, so that they only get a light contest in, that's all you need.

Still not as good, in terms of shot selection, as using ball movement and screens and such to get totally wide-open looks. But I think it's more fun to play 1990's style ISO hero ball. It feels more like a contest of pure skill and reaction, whereas getting the totally open looks through freelance/called plays or busted coverage with P&R, sometimes feels like a "cheap" game of whomever is best at triggering a hole in the CPU's defensive AI.

EDIT: I picked him up last night for 50K (PC). Only got a chance to play around with him a little in Freestyle. I think he got moderate-speed animations, so he feels a little sluggish for a guy with native 89 Ball Control. Curious if he handles better or gets access to better animations with his BC boosted to 95 or 98. But I think 89 is high enough that he has what he could have.

I was goofing around on All-Star, but it seems really easy to get green releases with him and/or to take moving shots from all around the court. He's definitely a guy I'd feel comfortable taking snatchback threes with, and of course any moving midrange shot. His post hop stepback shot seems money.

So I know everyone is talking about speed shoes.. But I don't really feel this pierce needs any athleticism boosts. He feels quick enough as is. The shoes I put on him are white/blue Jordan's that bump his mid range to 99 open 99 moving and 99 contested.

I don't really need that much explosiveness from him. I don't really try to beat a defender to take it to the rack like I would with vince. Pierce just needs to be able to get a few dribble moves off to create a chance at a step back mid or something like that.

The only other stat besides mid range that I'd consider boosting is his driving layup. Unfortunately I could not find a shoe with contested mid/moving mid/driving layup on it. If anybody knows of such shoe please let me know!
