Whats up fellow 2k addicts!?

Well after trying to create a new pro-am squad 3 different times and for 1 reason or another, was unsuccessful every time.... think I should try finding a pro-am squad that is 1 or 2 pieces away from being able to compete. With all the top teams on Ps4!

I'm in Pacific time zone (southern California) but I start work very early in the morning, so when I have work the next day I TRY to go to bed early.

I can be online everyday, and I stay in communication with squad(when I'm on/in a sqaud)... for example the squad I created , everyone had the community app(and had a members only squad page and we would set-up all the event's (tryouts, practice, games, etc.) And send event invite to all squad members...if someone couldn't make.it...just decline invite....and accept if person will attend,(I use it) as long as members use it...its pretty convieniant. We would also have the ps4 messenger app where the sqaud would also communicate thru it also.

The further out that a event is planned, the more likely I'll be able to attend.

I'm all about TEAM basketball! Winning is way more important than my individual stats!(looking for team members that feel like same way) I love playing Gritty Shutdown defense! (When using 1 of my bigs aka main builds) I prefer getting rebounds and blocks over scoring, and most of my points come from rebounds or getting to line. if we have a player that's playing better then me, and it'll help us get a win I'd be willing to sit out. I would like to find a team that is active as much as possible, if we don't have a (league or tourney) game is hope we could have practice (especially anytime we have 5 members online!)

Info about my builds;

7'3 Glass cleaner: 5 Hof and grand badges most of the bronze badges (I believe I have) all +1's maxed out, and all 2pt hot zones (this was my 1st and primary build, and what I plan to start with for 2k18...unless sqaud needs something else, I'll create what team needs!)

7'1 Paint protector: 95ovr 4 Hof 1 Gold and grand badge (a lot of bronze) probably maxed out all +1's have all hot zones that mater to a interior scorer

Every team I've been involved in, has always had plenty of guards and wing players....but almost always lacked Bigs... so I've probably played the 5 spot in approximately 80% of my games( so I'm definitely more comfortable(and better) playin around the rim, but it doesn't mean I can't play other positions!)

6'11 Stretch Big: 88-89ovr 4 Hof 1 Gold and grand badge (a lot of bronze) probably maxed out all +1's have almost all hot zones I made this build because team needed to stretch the court, and I was trying to still be a big man...haven't used this build that much.... my 3pt is good, but not clutch good... if a sqaud needed me to use this build, ill put in serious work to make my 3pt shot as reliable as possible.

6'8 Point Forward : pretty much like stretch big.... 88-89ovr 4 Hof 1 Gold and grand badge (a lot of bronze) probably maxed out all +1's have all hot zones ...except 3pt range... my 3's are last thing I'm working on, rating will end up being a 70(open and contested) and 56 off dribble (without boosts)
I'd say this is probably the build that I habe the most fun with, but again rarely used him....cuz almost every body made a point forward but no bigs!

And lastly, my current project....

I had a LOT of VC building up with nothing to spend it on, so decided to make a new build ..... so I used up all the attribute slots that you start off with (need to start goin to practice to unlock more attribute slots) so i got his ovr up to the standard 88 ovr

I'm not a kid (turned 21 years ago lol/smh) I'm looking to join an adult sqaud (definitely 18 and up ideally mid 20's and up)

If I sound like someone who could mesh well with your squad, im, definitely interested in a tryout, and we can go from there!

Sheesh this is a SLOW thread!!(idk if that's a good thing or a bad thing?)

Stil lookin for a team! I'm also open to creating another sqaud again(if me joining 1 doesn't happen) so if your in a similar situation i.e. running solo or with a friend or 2...hmu if your lookin for the same type of sqaud that I posted that I'm looking for (so we have the same goals of where we wanna take the sqaud!) I'm still actually on the roster of the last squad I created.... I'm team owner and the record is 0-0 ...so you/we wouldn't inherit a bad record (a fresh sqaud with Twitter account and gmail to match) I haven't left/disbanded the team just because I feel the name is pretty cool, and has the Twitter account also....but as soon as I find a sqaud where there's mutual interest I'll give that name up... I just wanna play some pro-am with a good squad!!! Playin with people you know and win with, and continue to improve and chemistry builds...... is so much fun!!! Playin with randoms, makes it feel like a completely different game, and not fun at all smh


I'm lookin to join a active and competitive squad, or create 1 with the right people!

P.s. if I end up creating a sqaud with others, or if a sqaud is looking for a couple of people.... I have a friend (we've been running together since 2k15, in squads so we have great chemistry) we've been in sqauds even created sqauds (he was in current sqaud I still "own" but he works, has a kid.... I don't think he wants to "run" a sqaud...he'd just rather play)

His main build is a playmaking pg, he plays like an old school pg i.e. rather pass then score, and hard nosed D

I also have a similar personality with the above player. For 2k18 I can bring in a lockdown defender 7' Center. My brother will be able to be a wings slasher. We're young, 18 and 16 respectively, but we're both very smart and students of the game.

I have a team we used to be a top 100 team in the west (early in the 2k17 cycle) until the original core broke up. My record took a hit the past few months because I have been adding randoms and trying them out. We are mostly in the west coast. Most of the ppl I run with are in their mid 20s to early 30s. I am Looking for players who can stay up late on the west coast. Definitely looking for players who don't complain about stats and are good defenders. Basically it's been me and another guy running the team. The number #4 team used to be us. Now our record is weak. We definitely need a big.

I fit that bill. I'm a big man that's good at protect the paint and I could honestly careless about how many points I score. I'm 29 and from the south so I would not be able to stay up late every night
