Lookin for that missing piece for our 2k18 (pro-am) sqaud

As of right now, we have 5 members in the sqaud who are all very active... but this is a 21&up sqaud so even though we are very active...we all have lives outside of 2k(work,family, and other important commitments etc), which makes having only 5 members aren't enough to keep the sqaud active every day (usually ends up being 4 guys online and 1 cant make it that night)

We hope that 1(MAYBE 2) more players will be enough to keep us active, and allows everyone to get equal game time(or as much as your lookin to run!)

Just because you'd be the 6th(and possibly 7th) d oesnt mean that's where you will end up in the rotation either!(except MAYBE at the beginning)

I honestly think 6 could be perfect amount!

Our minimum requirements

-Must be 21 or older

-Must have a mic

- If you join our sqaud can only be on our sqaud!( no sqauds on different psn accounts, no leavin our roster to "run a few" with a friend...we won't add you back!...just run walk-on!)

-Communicate! We don't expect you to be online EVERY day (but most of us are) just stay in contact, use psn app...and don't go mia for days at a time!

- *we will not run a pro-am game If we do not have 5 members running in the game (4 or less members, we will run walk-on)

We are a team oriented group who care more about winning then individual stats. Everyone on roster puts the team ahead of themselves (change position to allow for best line-up, sit a game out if a better player is able to play, etc)

We try to run daily, if not running pro-am we are still.doing walk-on to improve team chemistry and work on team play We will use zone D whenever needed, guys switch/rotate/help already and continuing to improve. We will implement plays and schemes (based on teams strengths) in offence.

We all have multiple builds in 17, but of course we will onlystart off with 1 build each

I don't remember everyone's planned archetypes of top of my head, but positions are:

Pg: pure playmaker
Sg: sharp/drive &finish
Sf: sharp/D
Pf: Defense/3
C: pure rebounder

Thinking of making a PF 6'9-6'10 Primary Defense/Sharpshooting that way I can guard/switch onto all 5 positions on the court and play the small ball 5 and stretch the floor as well as not killing the spacing.

Every post on here requests mature players with High IQ. Yet every Pro-AM team seems to fall apart within the first couple months or with the first bad loss. Everyone has been there, everyone has experienced this. In a community dominated by individuals self-proclaiming they’re the “GOAT” and genuinely believing they have what it takes to be on the next e-league team, it’s obvious why so many teams fall apart.

As someone who’s been on an amateur sponsored esport team (different game) I can tell you that only a very a small percentage of people have the work ethic and time available to reach that level. That’s why I’m going to be realistic with my recruiting post and lay out what types of teammates I’m hoping to find and what my expectations are for the team I’m trying to build.

#1) Patience: Throwing together 5 decent players and achieving quick success can be done easily. But getting the right group of guys willing to learn plays and each other’s tendencies takes time, and is what’s required to getting over more difficult opponents. I’m in no rush to putting this team together and I will take my time finding the right individuals.

#2) Play Schedule: I have a job where I work ~50hrs a week that pays me a lot more than 2K pays me. I play a lot of 2k (nearly every night) and I’m very passionate and competitive, but there is life outside of the neighborhood. If you want to be on the #1 team in the world, this probably isn’t the team for you. My goal is to have organized play schedules ~3x a week and if teammates wish to increase this it can be discussed.

#3) Respect your teammates: Show up on time. Learn the plays. Upgrade your guy on your own time, Get your badges & cap breakers. Analyze and critique your own game and be open to sharing your strengths and deficiencies.

Currently I’m looking for Wing players and a Big. Archetypes are less important because I think a good team can design plays to emphasize the team’s strengths and hide its weaknesses.

And if you aren’t ready to join a team, but are just tired of playing with randoms, then feel free to add me as well. I’ve been building a small community on the side where like-minded individuals can get together and run.

I am interested in joining a high IQ proam team. Here are my players a few info about me.

My players:
92 Overall SG Slashing Defender 6'6
6'5 SG Pure sharp 81 overall(currently in the works).

Defense is my passion. I love defending those cheesy sharps zig zagging around screens, I put all that to rest immediately. I can play 1-3 and sometimes the 4. On offense I am an extremely good cutter. I can hit mid-range, and some corner 3s. I have all my badges maxed, all hotzones as well. Most of my points will come off of cherrypicking and fastbreaks. my glue hands is on gold and I catch ALOT of outlet passes. I know offensive sets and defensive sets. High iQ and know switches.

I am on every single day. Usually from 8pm to 5pm the next day. I'm 19, maure and have a mic.

Hey man I remember you from last year, we still have the same squad going this year we are currently an Elite 2 team (130-28 record). We typically run 2-3 zone and space the floor on offense. We mic up every game so that's the only requirement we have of you, oh and that you use groupme since that's how we all organize times to play. Generally play in the afternoon/evenings.
