Just a few updates. I will post a few of the questions that I have been asked and answer them.

1) What's the progress looking like on the first draft class?
Progress on the first class is going well. Once again, you have to remember that I am editing ALL 150 players to directly match the story lines that you guys are getting. After that, Dreece still has to get it and do his magic on the tendencies and then I have to make three versions.

2)When is my player coming? Will he be a star? You gonna give him a 99 potential right? Make sure he's better than Jordan.
Ok, maybe I should not have included the first question with these because there is nothing wrong with wondering when your player is coming but most of the time I don't like to tell people because I would like for them to just sit back and enjoy the story line. But the other ones? Come on son. Some of yall kill me lol. Like, I tell you to write your player's play style and you put stuff like, "Excellent ball handler, Excellent scorer all over the court, lock down defender on the perimeter.... and in the paint, Lightning fast, amazing athlete with Vince Carter type hops, And1 dribbling ability and smartest player ever. His weakness though is that he doesn't show much emotion". What the hell am I supposed to do with that? You do know that player would have like a better rating than Lebron right? I am not saying that everyone did this but if your guy comes out to be a little different than the way you wanted him, it is because I couldn't get everything you wanted for your player while remaining realistic.

3) Will you be doing scouting reports this year?
Yes. The first one is probably going to be the most elaborate one as I have more time to work on it. It is looking to be about 200 pages or so. This year, I would like to put out the scouting report before the class is released so you guys can look at potential prospects.

4) Are you still doing the NCAA tournament?
That is also still going to be going on and we will continue to allow you guys to guess the winner. I suppose we can figure out a new prize for people who win since we already have allowed people to insert the players into the story.

5) When are the next stories coming?
Tonight! The audio version should be up as well either late tonight or mid day tomorrow at the latest.

Granted I did ask for a guy like this. I wanted him to be able to play like KG, but I would never ask for my guy to be the best all around guy in the game. To be honest when I asked for my guy I was thinking that an NBA comparison would be KG, he has the ability to hit the mid-range jump shot.

A star in Michigan…. But not at any of the schools that you may think
Certain things can happen to cause a player of this caliber to fly under the radar. In this particular instance, Eastern Michigan freshman DeAndre Gervin was only playing basketball sporadically as he played multiple other sports while in high school. Somehow, Eastern Michigan got wind of how extremely talented this kid is and nabbed him before anyone else got an opportunity to do so. So what exactly makes this kid worth writing about…. Well how about 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2 and a half steals for the season.

Not only is Gervin looking to be the Mid American player of the year but he is in the top ten on my draft board. When asked if he would consider going pro after this year he told me “Nah, I said I’m going to stay four years so that’s what I’m going to do”. In three years, I believe this kid will be a lottery or maybe top pick.

UNC forward Nigel Bridges declaring for the draft
In an interview with a local radio station, the Junior Point forward had no shame in stating that this would be his last year as a Tar Heel. At 6’7 231, Bridges has the size but also ball handling ability to make some noise on the court. I think that Bridges will be a top 15 pick definitely next year.

Kentucky and their freshman looking good as usual
Kentucky had a bit of issues at the beginning of the season but that is to be expected as they are usually running with a large group of freshman. This year, they have four freshman in the starting line up but they have finally figured it out. The four of them, SG Gabriel Finney, SF Miguel Proctor, PF Chauncey Frazier and C Andrew Clowers have led the team to a number 6 ranking in the nation.

Of the four, the athletic Finney seems to have the most upside but Chauncey Frazier is an extremely effective player. The four of them may all go pro after this year and if so you can expect Finney and Frazier to go in the first round.

Auburn center Shai Stone plays for more than just himself
Auburn freshman and defensive big man Shai Stone is a terror on the court. Off the court however, he is a loving big brother. Shai’s 6 six year old sister has been diagnosed with cancer and the team has stated that they are dedicating the entire season to her. “It means so much to me that my teammates and the school would do that” Shai said. “I just want her to see that we are playing hard for her”.

Stone is currently rated 28^th overall on my bog board but with the amount of individuals coming back to school, Stone could actually be a lottery pick. Although he is not prepared to discuss it, I think that Shai Stone will declare so that he will have the funds to pay for whatever treatment his young sister needs.

Providence point guard Dontay Webb walks away from the team
Providence freshman point guard Dontay Webb walks away from his team after the team suspended him for a game for missing classes. Although Webb could not be reached for comment, an unnamed teammate informed us that Webb yelled “This whole school is some bul*****” before storming out, packing his bags and going home.

Webb was third in scoring and first in assists on the team. Providence doesn’t look to be in position to make it to the big dance but they definitely have their backs against the wall now.

Let’s predict the top five as of now
It’s always hard to determine who the top five picks will be before it happens. It is especially silly to do so as early as February but it makes for a fun game. Let’s predict (of the players that will definitely be in the draft) who will be the first five picks.

1) Dre Redd - Center – UNLV – Sophomore - 7’0 240 lbs
The big man is absolutely dominant and should be the next big thing in the NBA. The team that gets the number one pick will definitely take Redd no matter who they have at the 5 right now.

2) Chris Valentine – Shooting Guard – Greece – 6’5 189 lbs.
A little older than the other prospects but he is ready to go. He is an excellent on ball defender and has the wingspan to absolutely wreck havoc in the lanes. His real gift is his shooting ability. Standing Still? Of course. On the dribble? Check. Hand in his face? Yup. Very safe pick.

3) Tashawn Sullivan – Power Forward – Louisville – Junior - 6’11 219
While I really believe that Rashard Wallace and Lucas Bowe will declare, we won’t include them in this since they have not yet. With that being said, Sullivan is our third pick. He may have a big mouth and ego but the kid is a high flyer and has the potential to be a very good, exciting player in the league.

4) Keith Crosby – Power Forward – Memphis – Junior - 6’9 238 lbs.
For my money, I think that Crosby could potentially by the best defensive player in the nation. Although I believe that he needs to work on his offensive game, Crosby will have no problem playing defense in the league and will more than likely lead all rookies in blocks.

5) Andre Thornton – Center – Arkansas State – Senior – 6’11 243 lbs.
Truthfully, Thornton may turn out to be even better than I am giving him credit for but when you play in a mid major conference, us scouts get skeptical. He is really your traditional big man. He is tough, has the ability to score in the point and most importantly he WANTS to get better.

Still really bummed that these are not on PS4 :-/ I played with these on 360 and they made the game SO MUCH FUN for multiple seasons! Is there anyway possible to get the rosters and these classes on PS4? I am sure this has all been answered in previous posts but I didn't want to have to go through every single page lol. Keep up all the great work guys and for those who haven't used these before you are definitely in for a treat!

Well I'm put it like this...somebody on the ps4 side of things is gonna have to take the initiative to step up and make the files. I will be documenting our classes via spreadsheets, but we don't have ps4 so we not going to be able to upload.

Turty said he was interested but its still early in our process so I haven't talked to him about it recently.

I just remember it wasn't just a simple loading of the rosters on the 360 it was getting the file on the computer then uploading into the 360 with a flash drive something like that. I just don't know how to create all those files otherwise I would. As for the draft classes they wouldn't work the right way with the regular 2k rosters right?

I just don't know how to create all those files otherwise I would. As for the draft classes they wouldn't work the right way with the regular 2k rosters right?

Classes gonna work best with the Sim World roster. I'm getting waaayyy ahead of myself speakin on porting to ps4. We have to handle business on the ONE 1st. More info to come as we get closer to finishing our projects.

Not sure about 2k rosters...I never use them.
