Really appreciate the kind words dude. Everything you just said are the kind of things were trying to achieve. As for the "hub" there will be scouting reports that come out with every class. Sapp does those so I can't say too much of what will happen this year. But last year they were 150 ish pages each. And it will cover everything you need to know. And hell once we get closer to release I have some stories coming which I hope will ultimately make or break your draft selections based solely of personality. For example the #1 prospect at whichever posistion you need might be super talented but he could also be such an @ss that youd rather take one of the lower ranked guys cause he's good for your franchises look and chemistry

A little announcement to anybody who might be interested
.
We at SimWorld are scheduling another stream for this weekend. I'm in New Zealand so forgive me if I get the time difference wrong but Its looking like 8pm Sunday. (That's based on Yellz time) so if somebody wants to state the correct time zone that would be much appreciated
We will have members present in the chat to answer any/hopefully all of your questions in regards to the SimWorld projects. But please don't come in asking for eta's and the like because you won't get an answer.
For those of you who don't have the link
Look forward to chatting with you.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece/Blindside for XBOX One
Quick heads up for you guys. I'm making classes on PS4, and I've run into a bit of a problem. It seems that it's impossible to create true freshmen in this game. The minimal age that the game allows you to set it to is 19 (1995), but by the time the player gets drafted, he's already 20 or just a couple months shy of it. While in reality, some of these freshmen get drafted and turn 19 right around the time they're drafted, not a full year before. Makes no sense.
This means that the 2014 draft class rookies like Wiggins, Parker, Exum, etc. will be the same age as true freshmen that are drafted in 2015 when they enter the league, because their birth dates are restricted to the same year as the rookies.
Don't know if you guys addressed this already or have a workaround, but I figured I'd let ya'll know.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Yeah its a bit silly and its unfortunately been an issue for a couple of years now. What I have done is simply make most true freshman with a birthday in December so they at least have a couple of months of being 19 during the season. Seems like that is the only thing that we can do at the moment smh. Appreciate it Jazz.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

My friend recommended me to these draft classes, so this is the first time I will be using them and by what I can tell, you all work very hard on classes. These classes seem very great and I cant wait to continue using these classes for years and years in 2K. Props to you allComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece/Blindside for XBOX One
I am new to all of this but the idea sounds really cool.. I do have a few questions...
1. You say that there may be stud players in the draft that have bad attitudes and can kill team chemistry.. How does that work in game? Is there a rating that determines a players attitude/personal problems?
2. These drafts sound very in depth and the fact you have back stories for every player blows my mind.. My question is how does this translate in game? Obviously the CPU cannot read all of these stories and gain this background information, so how does it effect their draft?
3. Should we even use the in game scouting feature or are we supposed to make all of our decisions based on your in depth draft logs..
I guess my primary question is how do you make fake players with all this in depth back story translate into that actual game... So the CPU AI drafts correctly and there are accurate gems/busts etc..
Pardon my ignorance as I am completely new to all of this. However, I am going to use the custom rosters/play books from ronyell/vann and his team and would like to use these draft classes as well if I can gain a better understanding of how it all works.
Thanks!Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece/Blindside for XBOX One
1) In regards to behavior, I must be honest... I have never played with chemistry on because I have always felt that the system doesn't work well. However, a bad attitude from a player can truly only be translated through badges such as "expressive", "unpredictable" etc. I have not done extensive testing to determine how this year's chemistry system works, but I can assure you that players that may have a bad attitude, relaxed attitude or any kind of attitude in our stories will have some kind of badge or emotion to represent that as much as possible through the game.
2) Unfortunately, as you stated, the CPU can NOT take the stories into consideration so the stories really serve no purpose for the computer. To be honest, the only thing that the computer takes into consideration is overall and potential so I will not sit here and pretend that the stories mean anything to the CPU. They are more so for the users. When I started this four or five years ago (I forget how long it's been) I only did it because the stories help to create some type of emotion towards these players. You might skip over a guy because of a nasty attitude or move up to take a guy because there was something about him you like. The stories are really put there to add another element to the draft that you would not have using generated classes.
3) There are a couple of acceptable answers for this one. The popular answer is to use both the ingame scouting feature and our in depth scouting reports. This is what most people do and it gives them a ton of information. If you want to make things difficult though, only use our scouting reports. The interesting thing about the way I rate the prospects is that it is based off of a combination of all three versions of a draft class. Each draft class will have three different versions where each player has identical ratings EXCEPTfor potential and durability. So in one version he may be a star and in another he may only progress one point. By eliminating in game scouting you take more of a risk but it makes things a bit more interesting. I think either method equals a lot of fun.
Please feel free to ask any other questions that I haven't answered in this post or that have not been answered in the first post.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

With everything we have planned you should have more than enough information to make an informed decision on any prospect. I'm even bringing you a new style of graph this year too. Something I'm thinking should help a ton.Comment
