Agreed, 2K should bring someone like you aboard. Having things like this right out of the box would be amazing.

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
Ive just been messing around with these player dribbling tendencies. I upped Wall's driving crossover tendency to make him more aggressive off the bounce and capture that speed he has. He embarrassed Jameer first 3 plays of the game. Ill probably edit my roster to boost the driving lay up, attack stong tendencies...and to increase the driving crossover to at least double any other move of these explosive guards if this testing shows similar results.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
Wow just played a full game against the Rockets.
Harden went 11/23. Lots of stuff off high picks. Howard went 11/18. Got lots of shots off those cross screens across the key. I started having to double a low post guy. I cant remember the last time that happened! I could not stop them. It felt really good.
The only issue was their lack of 3s attempted. They only put up 7. Your roster has their POE as get to the basket. Later on tonight, I will test them at get shooters open, and hopefully Dwight and Harden still work the PNR gane and DWight gets his touches down low.
Other than the (seemingly) hardcoded lack of FT issue, I think our Myleagues are good to go.

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
Anyways, he did an amazing job giving us the tools and plays he did! Not to mention think about everything he did as far as removing all those broken plays and starting from scratch with just limited time to do it all. Pretty crazy really! I can't wait to see what he does with plays and freelances in 2-3 years!Basketball Playbooks

@FloorGeneral
I have seen the bballbreakdown video and I liked all of the things that he brought up, but he highlighted set plays only whereas the flow of the kerr's offense is what is the most pleasing for me with all of the embedded automatics. The best information i've seen is at the link below. While still slightly incomplete, it comes very close to identifying the types of things they are trying to do.

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
The more I play with your playbooks, the more important I realise POEs become. Often I find the game can work against the great looks given by these plays.
I just played a few quarters against teams with attacking guards (Was/Denver).
e.g. the Nugz get a perfectly spaced P and R, Lawson has an angle to get to the hoop but either doesnt or pulls up for a J. Im going to experiment with these teams at 'Attack the basket'
And I think the CPU needs some fast break sliders for us to control.Comment

And I think the CPU needs some fast break sliders for us to control.
For example, the Blazers are starting a Favors/Bosh frontcourt with edited higher touches tendencies. But the AI selects "get shooter open" as POE, resulting in Mo Williams and Ray Allen getting the majority of plays (not talking about shots here, but set plays with run plays at 100) with Bosh and Favors at 5-10 FGAs per game. The "look for post players" slider doesn't help either.
The main problem here isn't the POE concept itself, but the inability to select settings for CPU controlled teams. No matter what you choose as individual gameplan for an opponent, the CPU is always set to Auto at the beginning of games, and if you adjust in game, after a timeout they're back to the auto suggestion. Which means no matter how awesome Vann's playbooks are, the game mechanics prevent us from using them in the best possible way. Kinda frustrating.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
When starting a MyLeague, do you need to control all 30 teams for the playbooks to transfer over for all teams? Or can I just choose one team and the playbooks will transfer to your playbooks for the entire league?
I know you need to use a "custom roster" and choose your playbooks for it to work. Am I missing anything?
Kind of sucks that rosters and playbooks are not separate entities...
Thanks!Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 team play book thread
FYI if you guys are changing tendencies, please check out Al Jefferson. He pump fakes on almost every possession in real life and he shoots too many fade aways in 2K15. He loves to alternate between facing up and using post moves IRL. I'd love to see the CPU use him accurately.Favorite Sports Teams
