Ki-Jana Monroe is going pro… expected to be a top 5 pick

So we recently spoke about Ki-Jana Monroe being the best athlete that we have seen in many years. Following a game against Washington State, Monroe announced that his freshman year would indeed be his first and final year. Monroe has jumped many other players that have put up much better numbers for a longer period of time but we simply can not ignore the fact that Monroe is an athletic freak with a ridiculously high ceiling. There are still a lot of A+ rated players that haven’t announced their plans following the season but this is looking like it is going to be one of the best drafts we have seen in a VERY long time.

Sam Houston State Freshman SG Rick Blaze: 45 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 6 steals against McNeese State in a 83 – 68 win
Michigan State Freshman Center Javancy Jamison: 19 points, 10 rebounds, 9 blocks, 3 steals against Michigan in a 68 – 57 loss
Cleveland State Sophomore Terry Roberts: 34 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks against UIC in a 81 – 60 win

      January 17th
Ranking the Top Seniors in the country

      5) Bryce Hasselhoff/ Santa Clara/ Power Forward 6’8 258
Projected Draft Range: Late First Round Pick
Santa Clara has made a lot of noise in the past couple of years but things have slowed down a bit since Devontae Dunn departed for the league. Even though the team has not been as successful, Hasselhoff has been very productive and continues to be a top ten rebounder in the nation. He will provide immediate rebounding for any team that drafts him.

      4) Malik Thomas/ Villanova/ Point Guard 6’2 195
Projected Draft Range: Late First Round Pick
Malik Thomas is a guy that has quietly hovered around the late first round for the past couple of years. Thomas isn’t an explosive player. He isn’t athletic and he doesn’t put up big numbers. He is however, one of the smarter, mature players that will be coming out next year. He is mature and is a real leader to the younger guys on the Villanova team. He has also developed a deadly mid range jump shot so expect to hear this young man’s name in the first round.

      3) Robert Manning/ Utah/ Center 6’11 1278
Projected Draft Range: Lottery – Mid First Round
Robert Manning is another player that has quietly made his name for himself as a top player. Many casual fans have no idea that this young man was a third team All American last year averaging 17 points and 10 boards. Manning is a big body, contact loving, punishing center that is very effective down low. Manning excels as a post scorer using his strength and big frame to bully his way to the basket. He needs to develop some finesse moves but his size and physicality along with his aggressiveness near the bucket will be the reason that Manning gets drafted pretty high.

      2) Nat Hawkins/ UNLV/ Power Forward 6’6 260
      Projected Draft Range: Lottery
So many of you may look at his height and automatically write him off but make no mistake that Nat Hawkins will be the second best Power Forward in next year’s draft and that is only if Wallace Sapp declares. Hawkins is one of the best rebounders that we have seen in years and we believe that he can average over ten rebounds in his rookie year depending on the situation. In addition to that, Hawkins is very strong and is quickly improving on the offensive end. If Hawkins develops a more consistent mid range jumper he could be a legitimate top five pick.

      1) Emmanuel Rodriguez/ Texas A&M/ Center 7’0 257
      Projected Draft Range: Top 5
We have talked about Rodriguez many times throughout the years so we won’t waste too much time. We will just say that Rodriguez is a decent offensive player but a spectacular defender and great rebounder. He is NBA Ready and prepared to step in immediately and log major minutes on an NBA team. This young man has used this time in college appropriately as he has continuously improved and has impressed scouts with his rare consistency.

Pittsburgh Freshman SG Nyrie Staples : 27 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals against Florida State in a 84 – 75 win

I believe it's obvious that Wallace Sapp is no doubt the MVP putting up record breaking numbers

I don't knw but E.Rod is looking like the million dollar man. Give it to him Sim World I think he just needed some more help then teams wouldn't have been so focus on him and they may not have lost that many games at Texas A&M

              Love the update, CWSapp.

Wallace Sapp or Emmanuel Rodriguez would look mighty nice in a Celtics uniform. Here's hoping that one of those Brooklyn 1st round picks pays off....

Yeah bro but I'm trying to figure a way to get E.Rod in a Knick uniform. Now how kould I make that happen without no pick in the first round. I'm thinking of this first year and this is DC3 damn I'm ahead of myself. Its a lot of good players in these classes and I like the fact that u kan miss if u don't scout right.

Yo Sapp, what's the pronunciation on Ra'Shawn Michaels?

                  Is it Ray - Shaun?

                  Or Ruhh - shaun?

Given the magnitude of his talent, I feel like I gotta say his name correctly when I speak of him.

This is actually a great question. Should've already asked myself lol. I say ruh Shaun but I guess we gonna find out pretty soon lol

                        Year 3 February Newsfeed

                        February 2nd
Ranking the Top Juniors in the country

                        5) Ashley Walker/ Wake Forest/ Point Guard 6’2 175
Projected Draft Range: Late First Round Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 45%
The number five player I what I consider to probably be the weakest group of our lists this year. Ashley Walker is projected to be a late first round pick if he leaves today but that is only because this looks to be one of the better drafts we have seen in a while. Ashley Walker is a defensive specialist that lacks the athletic ability to be a top prospect. I think that he will be a very solid back up in the league and possibly a starter in the right situation.

                        4) Jacob Eugene/ UCLA/ Shooting Guard 6’4 193
Projected Draft Range: Late First Round Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 50%
Many people may have assumed that Jacob Eugene would be rated a little higher on our list. He has been an All American and won conference player of the year. He is really talented and can shoot the mid range jumper consistently but he is a little small and definitely struggles on the defensive end. He is another player that I feel will play an important sixth man role in the league but as we stated with Walker, he could be a starter in the right situation.

                        3) Aure Edwards/ Colorado State/ Small Forward 6’8 233
Projected Draft Range: Mid First Round Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 55%
I feel like we sort of owe an apology to Aure Edwards because we have not been giving him any love. The interesting thing about Edwards is that he is one of the most versatile prospects. If Edwards was smart, he would wait until next year to come out where he would probably easily be a lottery pick but with this batch of amazing players that look to be coming out this year, he would probably go somewhere between 16 and 20.

                        2) Derrick Long/ Texas/ Power Forward 6’10 240
Projected Draft Range: Lottery – Mid First Round Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 25%
Derrick Long is a player that we all thought would have declared for the draft long before now but he seems to really be enjoying the college experience. Long benefits from the fact that he has played with a ton of pro prospects in the three years (Chase Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds, Marlon Lewis, Deboi Austin, Asa Washington, Brandon Pryor) he has been there so he knows how to adapt to being on the same team with NBA talent. Long is a paint protector that is also developing an offensive game. I think he will stay for his senior year and be a high lottery pick in the draft next year.

                        1) Vergil Anderson/ North Carolina/ Power Forward 6’9 251
Projected Draft Range: High Lottery Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 85%
Easily the best player of the “Junior” batch. Anderson is a ridiculously talented rebounder and is one of the three big time rebounders that I believe will be top ten picks in the next draft (One being Nat Hawkins and the other will be featured on my sophomore list). I think that McAlister was ready to leave North Carolina last year and with the issues that he has been having with freshman Rashar Singleton, I am pretty certain that Anderson will be ready to get the hell out of here. I think Anderson will go in the top ten.

                        February 5th
February Week 1 “Big Game Watch”

Indiana Sophomore SF Willie Nickles: 26 points, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks against Michigan State in a 69 – 67 win
Minnesota Freshman SF Chase DeMarco : 42 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists against Illinois in a 84 – 87 loss
                        Cincinnati Freshman PF Wallace Sapp : 32 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 blocks against Connecticut in a 77 – 70 win

                        February 9th
Another DeMarco at Minnesota? It runs in the family

To you guys that really pay attention, you will remember a young man named Teddy DeMarco. A versatile small forward that was effective on both sides of the ball. While Teddy was a first round prospect and a big name at Minnesota, his younger brother Chase has taken it to another level. While many fans knew that Chase would be the best player on the team, no one expected Chase to be one of the best scorers in the country. Currently 10th in the nation in scoring averaging 20.7 points per game, scouts all over the country are waiting to see if he declares for the draft. Keep an eye out for this young man.

                        February 12th
February Week 2 “Big Game Watch”

                        California Freshman SF Ki-jana Monroe: 20 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks, 3 steals against Arizona State in a 67 – 61 win
Pittsburgh Freshman SG Nyrie Staples : 29 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 6 steals against Miami (FL) in a 86 – 83 win
Louisville Freshman SG Terrance Wright: 40 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists against Florida State in a 80 – 73 win

                        February 15th
Ranking the Top Sophomores in the country

                        5) Mitchell Hawthorne/ Creighton/ Shooting Guard 6’6 201
Projected Draft Range: Lottery – Mid First Round Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 50%
We haven’t heard a lot about Mitchell Hawthorne during the season because he isn’t playing flashy basketball. Hawthorne instead takes pride in his suffocating defense and ability to cause turnovers. I am not sure what to think about this young man leaving because he doesn’t like to talk much about his future but if you need defense, this guy will be a steal outside of the lottery.

                        4) DeSean Bishop/ Syracuse/ Center 6’10 240
Projected Draft Range: Lottery – Mid First Round Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 65%
Bishop is not your typical center. Bishop is a center that likes to play outside of the paint. Bishop is an adequate ball handler, distributor and can shoot the rock. So why won’t he be a top pick? Well, Bishop is just learning how to play in the paint so he is still very raw in that aspect and he sometimes doesn’t show the determination or work ethic that we would like to see. Despite that though, if he does leave this year like I think he will, he will be gone in the first round.

                        3) Connor Lucas/ Notre Dame/ Small Forward 6’7 239
Projected Draft Range: High Lottery Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 20%
Connor Lucas is on this list but he has been very open about the fact that he does not think that he is ready to make the jump to the NBA just yet. Lucas is sort of a jack of all trades as he has shown the ability to score in and outside the paint as well as play a little point forward. He is also a natural born leader and his basketball IQ is way up there. If he leaves next year or the year after that he is almost certain to be a top 5 pick so we will see how that turns out.

                        2) Joseph Taylor/ Virginia/ Shooting Guard 6’3 206
Projected Draft Range: High Lottery Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 80%
Joseph Taylor’s teammate Jerome Cordova confirmed for me that the high scoring shooting guard will be bolting for the league next year. Of course we can’t say it is 100 percent until it happens but I feel confident with that. Taylor has quietly made his way into the list of top 5 leading scorers in the nation. Taylor is lightning fast with amazing handles and can get to the rim with ease and also shoot off the dribble. His size and subpar defensive ability keeps him from being a top 3 pick in next year’s draft.

                        1) Willie Nickels/ Notre Dame/ Small Forward 6’8 242
Projected Draft Range: Top Five - High Lottery Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 90%
Willie Nickels is about to be out of Indiana. I didn’t hear that from him but all signs have been pointing to Willie being gone. This young man will be able to play small forward and power forward in the league. He is strong as hell and one of the better rebounders in the nation. He has also developed a consistent mid range jumper and is quick enough to beat his man off the dribble. What really makes Willie stand out is his potential. He is already a very good player but he has shown flashes that he can really be a game changer in the league.

                        February 19th
February Week 3 “Big Game Watch”

USC Freshman PF Keenan Springs: 20 points, 11 rebounds, 8 blocks, against Arizona in a 59 – 56 win
Syracuse Sophomore Center DeSean Bishop : 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks against Virginia Tech in a 68 – 63 win
Cincinnati Freshman PF Wallace Sapp: 33 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks against Temple in a 79 – 67 win

                        February 21th
Ranking the Top Freshmen in the country

                        5) Rick Blaze/ Sam Houston State/ Shooting Guard 6’6 229
Projected Draft Range: Top 5 – High Lottery Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 50%
I don’t know much about Rick Blaze and his plans for next year. I just know that the dude is crazy and can play ball. He may not be the highest on people’s list due to the lack of competition but that truth of the matter is that Blaze is a major talent with loads of potential and the ability to play about three different positions. He is going to hear his name called very early whenever he leaves.

                        4) Ki-Jana Monroe/ California/ Small Forward 6’9 204
Projected Draft Range: Top 5 – High Lottery Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 95%
Ki-Jana Monroe doesn’t really put up big numbers on a nightly basis but he does put up Sportscenter highlights every week. Ki-Jana Monroe is a freak of nature when it comes to athleticism. We know that scouts love athleticism but Monroe is also quickly improving his game on both sides of the ball. We think that Monroe can turn in to a superstar but even if he doesn’t, he will still probably be the next Vince Carter when it comes to highlight plays.

                        3) LaKendrick Rice/ Oklahoma/ Point Guard 6’3 207
Projected Draft Range: Top 5 – High Lottery Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 75%
Everyone is always trying to find the next franchise point guard and Rice is your guy if that’s what you are looking for. Rice took a little more time to shine compared to the other freshmen but now that he is comfortable, he has shown why he is the best point guard prospect in the nation. Rice reminds us a bit of Rajon Rondo in his prime but a better jump shooter and a better on ball defender. If that isn’t enough to sell you on this guy than I don’t know what will. I expect Rice to enter this draft.

                        2) Nyrie Staples/ Pittsburgh/ Shooting Guard 6’5 186
Projected Draft Range: Top 3 Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 50%
Staples literally came out of no where this season. We knew he was good but Staples and the next individual on this list have shown that they are on a level where no other player is. First, we must say that Staples is a wonderful three point shooter that scares the opposition whenever it leaves his hands. He is also improving his ball handling ability and if he does that, watch out. Oh, did I mention that he is the best on ball defender in the nation with quick hands and one of the highest IQs we have seen. Staples has locked down any player in his site while dropping almost 20 points a game as well and I expect him to do the same when he gets to the league.

                        1) Wallace Sapp/ Cincinnati/ Shooting Guard 6’11 235
Projected Draft Range: Top 3 Pick
Chances of Declaring for Draft This Year: 99%
Wallace Sapp is the next big thing. We have talked about him enough so I don’t want to spend too much time on him but just know that he can do everything on the court. A player this talented could have been a starter as a 17 year old in high school but with a year of college under his belt, I think Sapp can realistically average 20 and 10 in his rookie year and if in the right situation, be one of the players that the NBA has ever seen.

What's being dne here is to keep those of us that go deep into our own this gives u the tools to do that. And keep it how the game should already b doing with there Draft classes. So if its not for u or you's then by all mean look else were because your money wasn't taking its free for all who is with it or without it because this krew have been doing this for a long time so one lost but more to gain. Yeah so love it or hate it they still killing any that's trying to kopy the truth. Say Sapp and Dreece That boy Demetric Brewer is in year two of my My League is backing up Larry Sanders on my Raptors squad he showing like he may turn into something. I got him with my second round. : My starting five as goes are. Kyle Lowery, Cha' King, Laquoa Palmer, Damarre Correll, Larry Sanders. I got King and Palmer during the Draft in trades I had the fourth pick.
