None other than Andrew Heller was drafted to the Grizzlies to run in that backcourt with Jeff Hill. Also Dreece, I think you thinking about the Hawks. The Rockets got Quanzell Waters in free agency and still got Darius Player.

Just want to make sure I'm right here. But that is the same Quanzell that was on the Celts right? And he is playing alongside Tyrell Carrington in the backcourt with Porter in the front court. I think I may have found my team. That is a deadly team on O.Comment

Tennessee PF Laqua Palmer is struggling after the ankle injury
Although the Tennessee Vols seem to be doing just fine, their star power forward seems to be suffering from a bit of a sophomore slump. After averaging a very strong double – double and dominating the latter part of the season. In his first four games, Laqua Palmer is averaging only 9.9 points and 5.9 rebounds. We are not sure if he any of this has to do with the injury or he is just a bit rusty but we will keep our eye on him.

Georgetown steals high school star from Georgetown
Nick Donato is a senior point guard at the university of Georgetown and is one of the most beloved players that have attended the school in years. For years, everyone has been talking about Nick’s younger brother Ricky coming to Georgetown to keep the “Donato legacy” going at Georgetown. That seemed to be the deal initially but at 3 P.M. earlier today, the 8th ranked high school player in the land, Ricky Donato announced that he would be attending Kentucky. When asked about this Nick simply said, “he’s his own man. What do you want me to do”. Wonder how Christmas is going to be this year.

Utah Center out indefinitely
The Utes just take a major blow as they announced that their best player, sophomore big man Robert Manning will be out indefinitely with a back injury. Manning has been shooting up the big board since last year and is currently averaging 16 points, 10 boards and 2 blocks per game. With this injury, it is unlikely that Manning will be making the jump to the NBA as many believed that he would adter this year.

Duke appears to have found their center of the future… or however long he is there
While this may not be news to many Duke fans, freshman center Elijah Nixon has shown flashes of greatness since he stepped on campus earlier this year. According to several sources however, Nixon was having issues adjusting to the college game and therefore he was playing behind junior center Travis Pace. After several impressive games for Nixon, Coach K has announced that Nixon will be the teams starter going forward.

December 2016 SimWorld Talk
CWSapp: Ok, can I please talk about this kid Jadar Choice. Dude has been lighting it up at Mercer for a few years now but STILL hasn’t been getting the love that he deserves. Sure he hasn’t played anybody this year but he’s had big performances against Kansas and Florida in the tournament in the past. If he leaves, he is going to be a steal for someone in the first round because he is special offensively and everyone knows the league is a bit short on really good shooting guards. I also received some footage from Blindside that highlighted the Italian shooting guard Dionicio Baldini. For starters, that kid has a cool a** name but he is also a really interesting foreigner. He is 6’7 200 pounds but he’s not afraid to get to the basket and draw that contact. Most impressive to me was his defense though. I have to keep an eye on that dude.
Dreece: I know the forward Corbin McGowans out of Vanderbilt has been getting some love lately but guys…. Please don’t fall for the hype. He can rack up blocks but the rest of his game is lacking severely. If he can improve over the next two years than color me surprised but for my money, I don’t even think he will be putting on a jersey. Also, there has been a lot of talk about the freshman shooting guard out of Florida Darius Porter but I’m not ready to say he is a first round pick yet. The guy who stands out to me is North Carolina’s freshman guard Jarius Johnson. He isn’t putting up the numbers that Porter is but I think he is more NBA ready and can play the point guard as well. I also think he has more upside so once again I worn you…. Don’t fall in love with the numbers.
Yellz: I don’t mess with the foreigners like that so I’ll let Sapp talk whatever nonsense he is talking about them. I want to talk about PFLaqua Palmer, the sophomore forward from Tennessee. Me and Sapp had a long debate about this guy and Sapp seems to think that he is a star. I feel that this kid will be drafted, start his career on the bench and never make it off the bench. I see a lot of Anthony Bennett in this guy so draft him at your own risk. Speaking of risk, you see he’s got the issues with the ankle. Do you really want to spend a top five pick on that guy? Oh, and I know that sophomore small forward Pooh Lewis is the guy everyone is excited about at Illinois but watch out for PF David White. He’s a quiet beast and might be a first round pick next year.Last edited by CWSapp757; 10-03-2015, 08:18 PM.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

And to answer the question that was posed in another thread, yes we will be putting way more than 5 classes this year. Last year, multiple things came up with myself and other individuals on the team. This year we not only reevaluated and changed our approach but also have blindside back in the mix which would equal much more production. I will however suggest that people get started on their MyLeagues early as we will be putting a lot of time in to the League for the first month and a half or so but trust that there will be much more classes and contact available.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

Number one high school prospects announces where he is playing
SG Ra’shawn Michaels (nicknamed by his high school teammates the “Heartbreak Kid) said that he couldn’t wait to tell the world that he would be putting on a Duke Blue Devils uniform next year. Michaels has been a YouTube sensation with his excellent ball handling ability and ability to get to the rim pretty much whenever he wants. Michael’s high school teammate SF Tristan Lamar said “He is the next coming of Allen Iverson. I mean that”. This really may be one of those “one and done” situations. Can’t wait to see him next year.

The Arizona Wildcats have some big problems
The Arizona Wildcats were the number 7 ranked team coming in to the season and had two skilled seniors in power forward Tevin Jakes and center Jason Hamilton along with highly recruited freshman Jahlil Jackson and an apparent hidden gem in freshman Marcus Bruno. Over the Christmas break, both Jakes and Hamilton were kicked off of the team after being arrested following an assault at a local bar. The team will now have to rely on their two freshmen to carry the load and hope that other veterans on the team can step up. While I think the team still has the talent to make some noise in the tournament, I can no longer consider them a championship contender.

UCLA looking like the strongest team in the country right now
Standing at 17 – 0, the UCLA Bruins are dominating opponents with ease with their trio of guys that could all easily be first round picks. PF Darius Dedmon is a rebounding machine and looks like a lock to finish in the top ten in rebounding, PG JaDamion Deveaux is a jack of all trades that excels in just about all aspects of the game and SG Jacob Eugene is lightning fast with a sweet mid range stroke. Not to mention that forwards Maleek Scott, Chris Glears and Junior Carrington would be stars on a large majority of the teams in the country. The team plays together well and it will be interesting to see how far they can go this year.

January 2017 SimWorld Talk
Adam Jones: Wait just a minute…. How are you not going to include Kyle Reedwater, the Purdue point guard who is averaging over 20 points in the Big Ten. He may not be an NBA star but he is a big time college player that can put up points. I honestly think he would be worth a first round pick even if it’s a late one. Also, I am 100 percent on the Ra’Shawn Michaels hype train. I think this kid could play in the NBA right now as a high school senior but he’s going to tear it up in his one year at Duke next year. I just hope that injuries don’t hold him back.
Blindside: I have to agree with Adam Jones that the Big Board is a little suspect at the top if you ask me. While I like Kentucky freshman SF Rayshaud Hill, I don’t think that he is more valuable than LSU SF Kiante Oakman. Oakman doesn’t get a lot of attention because defense is his thing and defense doesn’t really get you on Sportscenter but I think that Oakman would immediately be the best defender on just about 20 NBA teams day 1. I even think he has the ability to be the defensive player of the year one day and don’t forget he also has a three point stroke. I think he will eventually be Kawhi Leonard but better. And I don’t even know who the hell Nat Hawkins is so obviously I’m a bit shocked to see up there but whatever. I guess you’re the man with all the answers Sapp. Oh speaking of answers, remember the name Boris Kasabov. The Russian small forward is going to be a steal for someone next year. You can thank me later.
Yellz: Yeah, I’m back and forth on Sapp’s Big Board. I really like Emmanuel Rodriguez at the top of the board because he has the size and the defensive ability you want from a big man. I think he will make a really smooth transition to the league but he’s supposedly not coming out this year for whatever reason so who does that leave as the top big man? Laqua Palmer? Really Sapp? That’s the guy that you think is the next best big man outside of Emmanuel Rodriguez? No, you go ahead and spend that pick if you want to because I’m pretty sure that he will be coming out. And blindside, Nat Hawkins is only one the best rebounder in the country. You should actually watch some college basketball instead of focusing on all those Euro dudes.
Dreece: So nobody is going to talk about PG Solomon Myers at the number two spot? Ya’ll just going to act like dude doesn’t exist. Personally, I think Sapp nailed this one. I feel like people don’t want to give Myers credit because he plays at New Mexico but he went there because his twin sister got a volleyball scholarship there and they wanted to go to school together. You can change the jersey but you can’t change the player. This kid is an absolute stud. 6’6 210 pound guard that can shoot? Check. Distribute? Check. Rebound? Of course. He is going to come to the league and be a potential triple double every night in my opinion. The only thing that may keep him at school another year is his sister but I think he needs to come out after this year.
CWSapp: Everybody wants to take shots. Well, first off Adam, Kyle Reedwater is having an excellent year but his team is struggling big time so while I feel like he could be an All American possibly, I’m not sure about player of the year candidate. Blindside, you have a point but I feel that although Rayshaud Hill is not better than Oakman on the defensive side, he is way better than Oakman offensively. I also think Hill has the bigger upside so we will just agree to disagree. Yellz, Laqua Palmer is improving as the year goes on and you can’t argue with his upside and size. Dreece, I think Solomon Myers could potentially be the next big thing.Last edited by CWSapp757; 10-03-2015, 08:20 PM.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes
