Re: SimWorld’s 2k16 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp/Dreece/Blindside (XBOX One)

Anyone else having a problem with how the CPU teams manage their rookie contracts?

The classes are great, but teams have been turning down the team options on rookie contracts left and right. That includes guys that were taken in the top 10. Despite putting up big numbers or showing potential, rookie options keep getting turned down by the team that drafted them.

Anyone else notice this? The only solution I've come up with is to use 30 team control on the new chize when the SimWorld rosters come out.

Thanks for what you fellas do, looking forward to the upcoming rosters & dc3. Discovering SimWorld has made 2k next level.

Our classes use a totally different rating scale then the default NBA rosters. We expected that to happen but we wanted to get some classes out for the early starters.

For those who had the patience to wait....you will be able to see a lot of our guys make squads and make an impact. Summer League games will be especially fun to play or watch.

I don't wanna tell people to scrap their previous MyLeague but truthfully if you're using our classes I think you owe it to yourself to use the whole package.

      Just my opinion

Dreece, once you guys release the final project, would you still advise to use 30 team control?

Yes I would. I'm not controlling everything...not even the draft. I will keep trade veto on. If the CPU drafts crazy I will make some preseason or in season trades to even things back out.

I already redo shots and touches at the beginning of each season so its nothing I'm not used to but for many that would be a lot before each season.

We gonna have some house rules for free agency so I'm gonna use that to run my free agency.

          *SimWorld Note*

Free agency and the draft in the fictional LEAGUE haven't been terrible after our MyLeague edits. Its not perfect by a long shot but it seemed better than before.

So would you not recommend your draft classes for use with 2Ks roster (i have modified them a bit)?

I mean they will work with 2k rosters somewhat. But they are designed with our two rosters in mind. If you've never used our rosters give them a try when they drop.

The difference is night and day

Will do, but I am in the middle of a MyLeague, and as ya know, they kinda turn into your babies after a while (I mess with attributes/tendacies as I go and see things).

Are your draft classes rated "higher" or "lower" overall in comparison to the default rosters?

Thanks guys, really pumped to load up the draft class in my current off season.

Much lower on the potential front. Talent a.k.a overall rating is not necessary to put up numbers. I can make a 74 overall guard average 20-5-5 if need be but just rating guys that high like the 2k rosters will eventually lead to a league full of stars/great players.

I can attest to this, did a summer league with DC1 and had fun playing and going against a lot of the rookies.

You can immediately tell what a difference attention to tendencies and attributes makes. Don't just go by the overall number

Also the attention of the 2K Summit gives you a nice preview of the next DC.

All I know is, Che King was a baller for me in my first run through. That guy reminded me of a taller allen iverson. All of the rooks played differently which I thought was awesome. But seeing how they will play with the new roster is something I can't wait to see. The balance and overall awesomeness makes me anxious.

Its in the offseason menu after the draft. You'll get the prompt to load the next draft class at that point.

Hey guys. I know you are all waiting for DC3 to drop but we are in the final stages of finishing the League. I hate that you guys have to wait for a few more days so I will continue to post some DC3 stuff and introduce DC4 over the next few days.

5 Players to Look for in the Summer League (Draft Class 3 Edition)

                                Player Name: Vaclav Janacek
                                Position: Power Forward
                                School/Country: Czech Republic
                                Height: 7’0
                                Weight: 220
                                Draft Class 3 Rank: #65 of 150
Who is this Guy: Athletic foreigner that may struggle tremendously on the offensive end but has made a habit of making Sportscenter worthy chase down blocks.

                                Player Name: Michael Augustine
                                Position: Shooting Guard
                                School/Country: Illinois-Chicago
                                Height: 6’4
                                Weight: 197
                                Draft Class 3 Rank: #69 of 150
Who is this Guy: Illinois- Chicago leading scorer for three consecutive years and would have been a late second rounder in a weaker draft. He may be inconsistent but Augustine is one of the fastest players in the draft that may shine in the summer league.

                                Player Name: Amir Denson
                                Position: Point Guard
                                School/Country: Coastal Carolina
                                Height: 6’3
                                Weight: 179
                                Draft Class 3 Rank: #73 of 150
Who is this Guy: Two time Big South player of the year who finished fourth in the nation in steals last year. Denson’s potential, or lack thereof, is the reason that he may not get drafted and if he does not you should give him a look in the Summer League mainly because of his ability to play defense.

                                Player Name: Kenneth Reid
                                Position: Power Forward
                                School/Country: North Dakota
                                Height: 6’10
                                Weight: 235
                                Draft Class 3 Rank: #84 of 150
Who is this Guy: Big Sky player of the year who finished second in the nation in rebounding last year. Reid probably will not get drafted because he struggles with many areas of the game EXCEPT rebounding. He is a relentless rebounder that could lead the Summer League in rebounding if he gets the minutes.

                                Player Name: Malcolm Curtis
                                Position: Shooting Guard
                                School/Country: Stony Brook
                                Height: 6’4
                                Weight: 206
                                Draft Class 3 Rank: #104 of 150
Who is this Guy: Led entire nation in scoring with 25 points per game, 3 Time American East Player of the Year, very versatile scorer that will put up big time points in the summer league if given the opportunity.
