Dc2 is currently being edited that I can promise you. There is no timeline even for us. Cause trust me we want it just as much lol. But it is most definitely in motion.

And just an extra comment to the general thread so that everybody knows where things are at. And this is just because I want to establish where we're at with the classes. A progress report so to speak. So please don't take offence I'm just explaining what goes into each and every class.

As everybody knows the league, which was sapp and dreeces priority the last little while released no more than what a week ago? So after 4 months of heavy editing we all getting to enjoy a little game time for ourselves. Cause as much as it is for you its for us just as much.

Most of you will already have received a scouting report for dc's 2 & 3. That means that Sapp are done with them. What it also means is that the real work has just begun. If you take a look at the tendencies screen you'll see how much is involved and every single one of those ratings has a cause and effect that ties in with attribute ratings and sliders too. So that requires an editing phase then a testing phase to see how it reacts. Rinse and repeat until desired effects are achieved. Then it has to be edited into 2 more versions which requires adjustments to potential ratings, peak start/end ages and injury ratings. When that's all upto scratch that's when we release it.

As far as the rest of the classes go. The base shells are complete up until dc7 so they are with sapp getting the attributes and animations. Dc4 is currently getting the scouting report assembled I picked up the file from sapp today so I can start on the help me fill a need and graphs. That alone is around 15 hours work. I could just do an eye test and have it ready in a couple of hours. But you guys asked for a more complete scouting report so instead I copy every single number into an excel spreadsheet so that I can give you a list of the exact players that belong in respective categories. At the same time sapp is preparing player pages, getting the pictures together and presenting it into one document.

This is why for years now we have been telling people to enjoy each year in their save. Once you factor in the summer league aswell that's almost another half season of game time.

In my opinion this years project is the best that we've put out in my 3 years with SimWorld. My thoughts right now are that I could quite happily not purchase 2k17 and just play this time for the full 80 years available in a myleague save. In New Zealand 2k is $110 for a standard edition. I don't personally want to pay that for a game I'm only going to get 6 months of play time out of. Technically it's less than that because we're still editing that whole time.

I realise I've gone on far Longer than I should have but I just want guys to understand. I'm gonna say this at the risk of sounding like a complete *sshole but the worst question we can honestly read in the threads or via email or PM are those questions asking for ETAs. We love the excitement that you all share and I can understand the impatience in wanting another class. So don't get me wrong I'm not trying to take that away from you. But if there is one thing you can do for us is please just enjoy your save, share the outcomes but let us inform you when classes are coming out. We're still working whether we're asked for them or not.

What I did and one thing I love about 2K is create multiple saves. I saved before the play-offs, before off-season and after off-season.. So I can enjoy the rookies in a second season and play more games without worrying too much about the draft class because by the time I finish the season it will probably be released and I can load an older save and use the draft class and play the season as a different team..

In game scouting? Sapp I know you have said NOT to look at ratings in game of the DC. I'm curious if you would even use the in game scouting at all and if so, how? I def don't want to know the potential rating, but not sure if I want to know other info. I know in the past I like reading the commentary in game.

Letter grades are fine...even down to the potential. Looking at individual numerical ratings, badges, tendencies are severely frowned upon [emoji3]

New favorite player: Boruch Nojowitz. Drafted him in the second and this kid can shoot the lights out. Next Steph. Sent him to untapped potential. Again next year and he'll develop into a monster. Oh, and #dembadgesdoe.

It's ok @LeGeNd RiPs same here man...I thought he was simworld at first since I first saw him in the beta rosters. Still I think he could be molded into something special.

Quite honestly, no. There's no way we have the time. Just something at this current stage that I want to do. I believe I've learnt enough to tweak things to at least make it bearable going that long.

Before I say this next bit, I'll just let it be known this is my personal opinion and in no way does it represent the opinion of any other SimWorld member.

Looking at 2k16 and what we've been able to do with it. I just don't think there's enough that can be realistically added to 2k17 to warrant the cost of buying it and all the time spent editing it. Except for the dleague perhaps. If they give us that I'll buy it unless it comes at the cost of something else Already in game.

I stand to be corrected in regards to what 2k does with the next game and that is something that we will all find out later in the year.

For me it represents good news. Mainly because I cmn put heaps of time into 2k16 with the simworld classes and create my own for ps4 on 2k17. Saving me money whilst also giving me ample opportunity to get into these classes. Happy days.

I'm all good with the wait. Instead of simming a ton I'll just play more of the games...maybe even all of them after ASW.

                              Great work guys.
