I'm confused as to why your editing these rosters and passing them out as a 4th version.

I'm not passing anything out as a 4th version. None of the classes I posted are to be another version of one of the SW draft classes.

I have to assume these aren't fictional, you're trying to create a ncaa class? Maybe using the dc1 tendencies to make your ncaa compatible with the SIMworld classes

The 2016 class is a 2016 class. The other two are fictional classes.

Just please don't tell me you're taking these guys great classes they worked so hard on and spinning them off into your own fictional classes. Not to mention advertising them in the middle of their thread.

The classes I made were made to be used in my SW MyLeague and work well with SW tendencies/ratings so I could start a new season. Not stealing anyone's work.

I posted them here, cuz I have a few people asking that view this thread, and I'd rather just point them here, than message each of them individually.

They're SimWorld classes with different player names. you've already made that very well known.

Completely different class? I don't think so.

You use "Platinum" as the name because it's in line with what we've done already. Then you what change names and how they look? But advertise it as SimWorld DC1. Seriously? That ain't cool man. You can't take our work and try pass it off as your own. I'm not even sure why you need to change the names anyway. It's a complete waste of your time. And quite frankly I find it incredibly insulting.

Who cares what the name is, I just happened to use the word platinum when I started this class like 3 months ago. I never planned on sharing this class when I created it and it doesn't look like you can change the file name.

The platinum class will not at all be related to DC1 when it is finished. I used DC1 as a base draft class file and then FULLY edited the top 20 players, and am planning to do more, BUT I don't want to fully edit all 60+ players cuz that would take forever, that is why I used DC1 as the base file. Lets say I want to edit the #55 rated player, I can just go in and change his name and appearance and boom he is a different player, but he still has ideal SW ratings / tendencies and so he'll fit in, in a SW MyLeague. I would probably do this with the players ranked 30-75. That way I don't have to fully edit ratings and tendencies for players 30-75, only names/appearance.


EDIT: I'm not recommending anyone download my Platinum Draft Class, anyone that looked at it would see that is has many players from DC1, in the finished product, those players would all be edited. I'm just posting what I have done so far, if someone else was to use it, they'd have to finish it. I'm working on it, but I've slowed down a ton as of recent.

We have carefully crafted scales & outliers that I have never shared with you... how could you possibly post that they are compatible with our project in OUR thread AND then inform everyone that you essentially are overwriting what was done barring anything that "the bug" may have changed with different names.

That TOTALLY undermines the integrity of our project. I guess, i think, i may; possibly understand what you are TRYING to do with the 2016 real class but the rest...

I think I understand what Gus is trying to do, and it's not too awful. I don't get the sense he set out to steal the spotlight from the SW team or do anything self-serving. I think he seems like a fan of the project that wanted to keep his MyLeague going during the perfectly acceptable hiatus between classes 2 and 3 where the guys had life get in the way, then when he found that he had success, mentioned it.

Ultimately I agree that his process was a bit misguided, as he wouldn't be working in step with the bigger picture the SW team is trying to look at, and the Platinum class part is missing the point of the whole SW project, but I do get it to a certain degree.

Y'all are so hostile towards the man damn. The dude clearly appreciates your work take it as a compliment instead of being so defensive; I understand if he's marketing or trying to sell these classes but he stated numerous times that wasn't the case.

Been around with these classes and helped way back before even one of your listed creators and would hate to see this turn into some BS about "stealing". This project has gone on for a long time BECAUSE of community support and it seems very counter-productive to dissuade users from enjoying it how they see fit. You guys admittedly take a LONG time with these (and rightfully so considering the quality) so it's not unreasonable in the slightest to assume someone would want to not halt their ML progression and offer the same for others in a similar situation.

Just my two cents on the matter. Regardless hope to see these continue on for a long time as they've helped make ML so much more enjoyable for myself and many others.
