I must admit I have thought about making some "filler" classes to sort of make up for time that wouldn't be official classes but they would play pretty wonky without dreece's edits. I would have to talk to the guys about that possibility and if we could make it happen in the future

Makes sense to me, and I mentioned I figured that might be the case.

Let me throw one more idea out there that you guys can shoot down---- what if dreece did the tendencies by hand, on a spreadsheet, and then had other members enter the values in?

Haha again, this might already be the case or maybe it still wouldn't save time..... I'm just trying to help throw some ideas out so we can have a larger number of classes for 2k16.

That's all I got for now, thanks as always for all the hard work. At the end of the day even one SIMworld class is better than 0.

Nobody EVER said anything about us not doing classes next season. Also WE never said that we weren't doing LEAGUE 2K17.

What was said was there was a very slim chance that the SimWorld NBA roster might not be made for 2K17.

Gotta speak to the man who edits the NBA offering about the future of that project .

Gotcha! Makes sense. Worst case, use factory rosters with EA updates to go with FDC in 2017.

So I have an idea and a question rolled into one...

I don't know if anythings been decided, but it seems like the SIMworld project will be on for 2k17 (please correct me if I am wrong).

With 2k set to release the next game earlier, I think now in September, we have about 3 months till that happens. Since we are only approaching dc6, my thought was what if the time and energy was spent just putting out the classes and we just went without the stories and scouting reports.

Hear me out....

Yes all the extras, scouting reports, news feeds, etc is what sets these classes apart and makes them so amazing. But if September rolls around, and the gang is going to start on 2k17, we're looking at like 8 or so classes. In my opinion, i'd rather have 12-15 classes without the extras than 8-9 with them. I really don't want to have to use auto generated classes, and I would really like to see how for instance Wallace Sapps career unfolds.

Now maybe there's no plan for 2k17 yet, and maybe there is not much time saved by cutting the "extras" and this is all moot. But I figured I'd throw it out there and see what was what.

You know what wodi.... I think we are going to do those filler drafts that I was just talking about. I have a few drafts that are just sitting idle (this usually happens every year) so give us a week and we are going to try to get that out as we are working on 6. After that, possibly a few more. By eliminating the extra stuff that I have to do to connect each class to the other ones will make things much easier.

So we are going to try this out and see how it works but so we can try to get to around 15 classes or so. I will say that we will need volunteers to upload these filler classes however so please let us know if you are willing to volunteer.

Very very awesome.

The question becomes when to release them though. Do you wait till the end and throw them all on he back end to keep continuity between players, stories, and teams? Or do you release them in between to fill time between the main classes?

At the end of the day, more SIMworld classes is always better. I think 12 were released for 2k14 and I used those over and over (never bought 2k15). The less cpu generated classes the better.

Nah I think it would be better to provide them as options while you guys wait for the official ones. As long as everyone knows the "filler" classes don't fit into the official storylines it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Also these filler classes will not have three versions but WILL have busts that are controlled through peak start and peak end.
