Just got this and I'm in love lol.

Noticed something though. And I know overall rating doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but how does Antoine Walker end up a 74 when he averaged 23 ppg and 9 rpg that year? I mean as long as he plays right that's all that matters. I was just wondering.

Yeah some players seem to have a little low overal rating. I expected Walker to be a little bit highers, too. The biggest drop is his shooting. He was good from 3 this year but overall pretty bad with just 41%.
He also played over 40 minutes a game which pushed is per game stats quite a bit.
As for the gameplay i wish he would play a little bit crazier.
Maybe he would if Pierce wouldn't kille me all the time...

One question, does 2K change the overall ratings for some players, based on the edits to others? I notice Shaq is 88 and Kobe is 87 - are their ratings the same as the original 2001 historic team, or did you edit them down?

Going to start a season once my 2016 Cavs one is over. Near the playoffs on that.

With 2k16 2k has something like an all-time ratings scale. So in theory every player should be on the same scale and a higher attribute means player A is better than B in that part of the game.
But i don't think they revisited legends once the game comes out.

As for Kobe and Shaq their overall was higher in the 2k roster.
After my edits they dropped some points.

Good luck with the Cavs, are you playing with them with this roster, too?

I'm playing with the most up to date official 2K16 roster with the Cavs. 16-5 with Poke's superstar sliders.

I'll add you on PSN. Got a lot of mileage left it 2K16 - won't be switching to 2K17 until around Christmas.

I'm on the 29 game season with the Cavs. Playoffs soon. I like to play each team once.

I'm going to do a 2001 season with your sliders next, then a former finalists season with the completed historic rosters. Just need to update 72 Knicks, 85 Sixers and 98 Spurs to 73, 83 and 99 respectively.

Definitely. Or a season close to it. Maybe a couple years later or even a couple years earlier just to change it up a bit. But it's up to you. I'll download whatever you put out. You did an excellent job with this one.

does the create player stay on the team if I download the roster?


2.) To make this roster there will probably be the need for rebranding. How will that play out in your roster?

It would be one season only (again).
There are not enough CAP slots to go deep into FAs. Already had to use Euroleague players last year and rename them.

Also no draft classes.
We can't edit the age of classic players, so after year one some might retire and everything is off.
But i saw someone wants to do a 01-02 roster. So you can continue with this.

Nah bro stop playing. We look forward to this roster. I think this year it will be interesting.

1). Yes, your roster would look the same as my version. Every player on it. (Except there is a bug i don't know about yet??!?!?)

2.) Last year we could only rebrand 3 teams. I posted links to files and youtube videos in the opening post so people could do it themselves.
This year we can rebrand more teams which is really cool. This year we have the ability to download rebrand sets (arenas, courts) compared to just the image-files from last year. So i probably will list the psn-id that has the rebrand and you can download it.

It's official.
The 00-01 seson will make the jump to NBA 2k17.

Please leve feedback and suggestions regarding the 2k16 version of this here and help me to improve the roster for 2k17.

To all -

I've never used a classic roster before and I would like to know how does one implement the teams from before and after the 2000-01 season to be able to make this realistic? Obviously, the 93-94 Nuggets will not have members of that team during the current season and the later Suns as well. I appreciate and a thank you to all who respond.
