Stopped in to let y'all know progress is being made on DC4 . We had a couple issues early with the shell so we a little behind where we should be creation wise.

Sapp will be dropping an update soon so be on the lookout for that. And yes we are still planning to release 15 classes. The process of creating them is a longer process then editing them . We're also restricted on how many local files we can keep and work on at one time.

Back in the 360 days I would be editing 2 maybe 3 classes at a time to put out some good content while y'all waited for the final product. Just not possible anymore, not including the amount of freezes, lost time (lost 17 100% completed DC4 players), and other nonsense that frustrates us when our time is short to begin with.

Please have patience cause at the end of this all we'll still have the most DC's BY FAR to go along with our NBA roster and Multiple LEAGUE files.

That's the type of thing you don't come to the threads daily to say. Me, Yellz , and Sapp had a week where we all lost multiple hours of work simultaneously . Group chat anti 2K rants were hilarious and sad all at the same time SMH.

Ballard playing nice
- Miami So. PG Shamarr Ballard plays nice when asked about who he thinks the best player in America is. “I mean right now, I have to give it to Brent Christmas because he has done it so consistently since he became a Blue Devil. I can’t argue with his numbers. I hope that it’s me at the end of the year but I can’t disagree with anyone that says Brent”.

When asked about the likelihood that he would declare for the draft this year, Ballard said “Who knows man. Who knows”.

November 14th
Things get ugly in Hawaii
Rutgers Jr. PF Vic Rozier is known to try to embarrass players but Hawaii Fr. PF Kai’aSuopa Flai had enough after Rozier grabbed his crotch after a 360 jam. Back down the floor, when Rozier’s teammate SG Manny Paul threw him an alley oop, Flai pushed Rozier out of the air before catching the pass which caused benches to clear. Although no one got hurt, I think it’s safe to say some bad blood was created. Even after getting kicked out of the game late in the 2nd, Flai still finished with 15 points and 15 rebounds.

November 17th
Damn Marcelo…. You Scary
Marcelo Revis was the 19th rated high school recruit last year but most of that is because he spent a lot of his last two years resting after dealing with multiple back injuries as a junior in high school. Now that he has been unleashed on the world, we realize that we may have under rated him quite a bit. In just his first two games, he is averaging 20.5 points and 16 rebounds. When asked if the high level play could continue he stated “It’s going to get better”.

November 20th
Speaking of top freshmen

Freshmen power forwards Cameron Register and Zykesis Savage were the number 1 and 2 high school players last year signing with Indiana and Ohio State respectively. Register’s year is going about as expected early on averaging 15.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game. This was in limited minutes I should add and many believe that he will be top three on the big boards when they are released in January.

Zykesis Savage on the other hand is struggling a bit. Although I still think he will be a top 3 to 5 prospect whenever he comes out, he needs to get it together. Savage is currently averaging 8.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game in 7 more minutes per game. When asked to compare his own play to that of his friend Cameron Register, Savage said “Don’t ask me to do that. That’s my boy and I wish him the best but don’t ask me to do that. Let me play MY game. I’ll figure it out”.

November 23rd
Austin Stewart is a pain off the court but such as pleasure on it

Top 10 high school prospect ended up at South Dakota State after many schools lost interest. Stewart made a lot of questionable comments as well as having sex in a car and other things on social media that I can’t say here. While some said that Stewart would be kicked out of school before the season started, he has done the complete opposite getting great grades so far and averaging 27.5 points per game this so far this season. When asked about his performance so far this year he had this to say:

“People still hate but I’m gonna keep doing me. I’m gonna keep winning on the court and you already know I’m gonna keep winning off the court. Make sure it’s not with your girl”.

Austin had more to say but was cut off by the interviewer.

November 27th
Rico Silver unleashes his “Don’t forget Rico” campaign

So earlier this year I released a list of players that I felt had the best chance to win the Player of the Year award. I decided not to include Rico Silver because while I feel he is an excellent player, I just didn’t think he would be as productive as some of the other guys. After having probably the best November of any player in the country, Rico Silver contacted me via email simply saying “What more do I have to do to make sure that you don’t leave me off any lists like that”. He then changed all of his social media names to “Don’tforgetRico” and the rest of the Panther fans are following the movement.

If you continue to play like this for the rest of the year, I can assure you I won’t forget you Rico and neither will the NBA scouts.

End of the Month Player Spotlights (Part 1)
CAMERON REGISTER: INDIANA FRESHMAN POWER FORWARD
Some guys are just built for this and according to teammate, freshman center Johnnie Garris, Cameron Register was built to dominate. Born to parents Jonathan and Keisha Register, Cameron was a great student at Eisenhower high school in Lawton, Oklahoma. According to Register’s coaches, he was always the best player on any team he played on no matter how old he was. Throughout high school, all of his teammates loved and looked up to him as they won game after game year in and year out. But one of his coaches said that Register has lived the “fantasy life” as a basketball player and is curious how he will deal with a teammate not liking him, not winning or things not going his way on the court. I would like to believe that he will be able to handle it but at this time, he is still loved and as my pick for the number 1 prospect in the world (even though he needs to improve his offensive game to become a superstar), he’s still winning so I guess we are just going to have to wait a little bit longer.

Relationships: Had several high school battles with Oklahoma Freshman Center Marcus Brown.
Cameron’s former high school teammate, PF Carson Roberts, is currently a freshman at Jacksonville State and is putting up impressive numbers this year.
Cameron played AAU ball briefly with #2 high school prospect PF Zykesis Savage who now plays for Ohio State. Savage says the two have kept in touch and become good friends throughout the recruiting process. Savage also stated that Register has been a “great friend” and helped him through “a situation or two that y’all will never know about”.

ZYEKESIS SAVAGE: OHIO STATE FRESHMAN POWER FORWARD
It’s hard to believe that a guy with the last name Savage is such as soft spoken guy. Well, let me clarify. He is soft spoken off the court but on the court this guy is a savage. Savage showed off his ability to excel all over the court as a high school player but most of his YouTube clips are of him throwing shots so hard that fans in the stands are in danger. Throughout his senior year, Savage’s mother (and former Ohio State track star) Angelique Savage really took center stage telling other schools to back off. The single mother went public about the fact that Zykesis “is going to be a Buckeye…. Period”. On signing day, Zykesis quietly put on his Buckeye hat as his classmates and his mother went crazy. Currently Savage has shown flashes of greatness but he has ultimately struggled to put up the numbers that everyone is expecting from him. Does he not want to be at Ohio State? Does he just need time to adjust? Is there too much pressure on him? Personally it’s still early and I think he’s going to blow up eventually but I could be wrong. We shall see.

Relationships: Savage’s good friend SF Jarvis Stevens signed with Michigan State early during his senior season. There were rumors that Savage wanted to attend Michigan State to play ball with his friend but as we know that didn’t happen. Some say it’s because MSU has a Player of the Year candidate at the same position in PF Savon McSwain but others say it’s because his mother wouldn’t allow him.

December 4th
- La. Tech junior forward Qua Thomas just can’t stop getting into it with others. This time, it was with one of his teammates during practice. The end of the disagreement was caught on a camera phone but it just shows Thomas yelling and pointing while being escorted out of the gym.

- Coppin State senior Point guard Rodney Bowman said that Miami point guard Shamarr Ballard “is the most difficulty I have had defending anyone in my entire life”. Ballard continues to light it up and keep the Player of the Year chants loud around the nation.

December 7th
- South Dakota State freshman point guard Austin Stewart is having a spectacular first month to his career on the court but as usual, he is making headlines for all of the wrong reasons. Stewart’s roommate and teammate, senior SG Charlie Devenney reported Stewart missing after not hearing from the star guard for two and a half days after their game on the 4th. However, it was reported today that Stewart showed up to practice on time as if nothing ever happened and when asked where he was at he responded “With bi***es”. No word on if he will be suspended or not. He is currently 23.4 points per game.

December 11th
- Northern Kentucky junior forward Tony McSorley is currently leading the nation in scoring this year but no one has really said a word about the talented young man. When asked about this McSorley said “I prefer to fly under the radar like this. I don’t need to bring any unneeded attention to my team or my teammates. I just want to win”. I hate to break it to McSorley but if he continues to have 40 point games like he did last night, everyone in the country will be talking about him. He is currently projected as a high second round pick.

December 15th

- There is always a foreign player or two that gets everyone excited but the hype is generally over the top and unwarranted. Why you ask? Because there is something we love about the unknown. Something that we haven’t had the opportunity to pick apart yet. So with that being said, this year we have TWO of those guys in SF Kael Gage out of Ireland and SF Romano Nikezic out of Slovenia.

The two are different in a lot of ways. Gage is 19 years old and Nikezic is even more of a baby just recently turning 18 years old. Kael Gage is 6’8” 220 a more of a tough guy while Nikezic 6’10” 205 and still getting used to contact. Gage is a more well rounded player while Nikezic has the skill set of a potential offensive juggernaut. Gage is definitely more NBA ready while Nikezic needs to improve in some different areas. Here is what they both have in common though….I feel like they both have the potential to be perennial all stars. I doubt that we will see Nikezic come out until at least next year but I the time feels right for Gage to come over to the states. I think we will be seeing Ireland in the NBA very very soon.

December 19th

- Syracuse Freshman SG Rasheed Reed was very critical of his teammate Syracuse freshman SG Avery Bishop in a recent interview. Reed, who we should note plays the same position as Avery Bishop and was recruited before Bishop, said in an interview “I think we would be even better if we had players that were giving their full attention to basketball. Take Avery (Bishop) for example. He is a great football player and could be a NFL prospect at WR but he’s trying to do that and be a big time basketball player. You can’t do both man. You either going to be a pro basketball prospect or a pro football prospect. You can’t do both. I think if he wants to play football he should give his all to that. If he wants to play basketball, time to let the football dreams go”.

Avery Bishop stated that he had no comment about the statement made by his teammate but an unnamed source says that he is very bothered by it.

December 25th

- Of course we don’t spend as much time on doing top 5 lists like we used to but I think now would be a good time to bring that back. Below is our top 5 that you aren’t hearing about. With that being said, you can expect the big time freshman like Zyeksis Savage, Cameron Register and Marcelo Revis to be excluded from this list because you hear about them all the time. Instead, expect to hear guys that are quietly making their case to be a prospect on your draft board.

5) Justin Turner
Position: PG
School: LSU
Class: Freshman
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 213
Projected Draft Range: Late 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 75%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because he is playing second fiddle to a better freshman (Terrell Robinson) that plays his position a little better than him. Also he is a defender, which isn’t as flashy and doesn’t get the attention of the casual fan.

4) Jarvis Stevens
Position: SF
School: Michigan State
Class: Freshman
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 214
Projected Draft Range: Late 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 15%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because his teammate Savon McSwain is a national player of the year candidate. Also, he isn’t putting up stats at the moment despite being one of the most athletic players in the country. His game will develop and we will hear about him. Either that or he’s going to dunk on somebody and Sportscenter will make sure we know who he is.

3) Malcolm Morrison
Position: SF
School: Oklahoma
Class: Freshman
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 215
Projected Draft Range: Mid 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 50%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Health reasons. When he plays, he shines. He can hit the jumper off the dribble and create his own shot. That alone will have scouts drooling over him. Unfortunately, he has had to miss multiple games in his young career and some are fearing that injuries could possibly hold him back. If he can stay healthy for a while, I’m sure he will jump on to the list of prospects you hear about constantly.

2) Stacey Augustine
Position: SF
School: North Carolina
Class: Sophomore
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 235
Projected Draft Range: Mid 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 50%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because even though he plays for one of the most notable college basketball teams in the country, he doesn’t do it in a spectacular fashion. Also, he is in the same conference with two young men that are favorites to take home player of the year honors in Shamarr Ballard and Brent Christmas. I’m not sure when he will come out but when he does, he is going to make some team happy.

1) Ethan Alexander
Position: PF
School: USC
Class: Freshman
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 210
Projected Draft Range: Top 5 to Lottery
Likelihood that he will Leave: 50%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because sometimes, good players just got lost among the more exciting ones. Ethan Alexander may be the nation’s best kept secret. A bit undersized but extremely versatile, Alexander quickly became the go to guy for the Trojans and is currently leading the team in almost every category. Alexander has been getting better each game and his stock has quietly went up. In my opinion, if Alexander were to leave after his freshman season, it is definitely possible that he will hear his name called as early as the top 5.

End of the Month Player Spotlights (Part 1)
ROMANO NIKEZIC: SLOVENIA 18 Year Old SMALL FORWARD
Let me start of by saying that Nikezic isn’t your typical foreigner that will mumble short simple English phrases and need a translator on draft day. Nikezic’s mother is actually an English teacher and Nikezic speaks better English than some Americans. With that being said, Nikezic is a young kid with a lot on his mind and he has not hesitated to say it. Nikezic has been very open about the fact that he feels that he is what the “NBA is missing”. At 6’10” 205, Nikezic has shown the ability to score in the paint but more impressively, everywhere else outside of the paint. Because he is so young and so impressive, the media has overloaded us with Nikezic hype this past month and it has not gone over too well with many players in America. Former Texas Southern SF and NBA draftee Chris Mitchell said that the “white media didn’t cover Abioye Turay like that”. Former Kentucky SG Antonio Griffey said “he ain’t proved nothing to me that would make me think he’s not star. We got people like Revis, Ballard, Register in college and they got him ranked above those guys? Man, even Brent Christmas. I just don’t see what makes this guy so special”. As a 18 year old however, Nikezic has embraced the hate as most young teens would saying “I expect to have haters. That’s what haters do. They hate”. Time will tell if this young man lives up to the hype but I can tell you he isn’t making a ton of friends.

Relationships: Former TSU SF Chris Mitchell and former Kentucky SG Antonio Griffey have both made negative comments about Romano Nikezic.

Great update. Shamarr has had me intrigued since I first heard of him but Kael Gage is making me think he might look good on my Knicks squad. There's been a hole at SF since Melo left in free agency. And it's looking like I'll probably end up with another good draft pick after picking up Ancic at #4 last year. Another long season.

However Ancic and Porzingis are looking like they have the potential to be a great duo up front for years to come.

Kael Gage is 6’8” 220 a more of a tough guy while Nikezic 6’10” 205 and still getting used to contact. Gage is a more well rounded player while Nikezic has the skill set of a potential offensive juggernaut. Gage is definitely more NBA ready while Nikezic needs to improve in some different areas. Here is what they both have in common though….I feel like they both have the potential to be perennial all stars. I doubt that we will see Nikezic come out until at least next year but I the time feels right for Gage to come over to the states. I think we will be seeing Ireland in the NBA very very soon.

December 19th

- Syracuse Freshman SG Rasheed Reed was very critical of his teammate Syracuse freshman SG Avery Bishop in a recent interview. Reed, who we should note plays the same position as Avery Bishop and was recruited before Bishop, said in an interview “I think we would be even better if we had players that were giving their full attention to basketball. Take Avery (Bishop) for example. He is a great football player and could be a NFL prospect at WR but he’s trying to do that and be a big time basketball player. You can’t do both man. You either going to be a pro basketball prospect or a pro football prospect. You can’t do both. I think if he wants to play football he should give his all to that. If he wants to play basketball, time to let the football dreams go”.

Avery Bishop stated that he had no comment about the statement made by his teammate but an unnamed source says that he is very bothered by it.

December 25th

- Of course we don’t spend as much time on doing top 5 lists like we used to but I think now would be a good time to bring that back. Below is our top 5 that you aren’t hearing about. With that being said, you can expect the big time freshman like Zyeksis Savage, Cameron Register and Marcelo Revis to be excluded from this list because you hear about them all the time. Instead, expect to hear guys that are quietly making their case to be a prospect on your draft board.

5) Justin Turner
Position: PG
School: LSU
Class: Freshman
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 213
Projected Draft Range: Late 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 75%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because he is playing second fiddle to a better freshman (Terrell Robinson) that plays his position a little better than him. Also he is a defender, which isn’t as flashy and doesn’t get the attention of the casual fan.

4) Jarvis Stevens
Position: SF
School: Michigan State
Class: Freshman
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 214
Projected Draft Range: Late 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 15%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because his teammate Savon McSwain is a national player of the year candidate. Also, he isn’t putting up stats at the moment despite being one of the most athletic players in the country. His game will develop and we will hear about him. Either that or he’s going to dunk on somebody and Sportscenter will make sure we know who he is.

3) Malcolm Morrison
Position: SF
School: Oklahoma
Class: Freshman
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 215
Projected Draft Range: Mid 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 50%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Health reasons. When he plays, he shines. He can hit the jumper off the dribble and create his own shot. That alone will have scouts drooling over him. Unfortunately, he has had to miss multiple games in his young career and some are fearing that injuries could possibly hold him back. If he can stay healthy for a while, I’m sure he will jump on to the list of prospects you hear about constantly.

2) Stacey Augustine
Position: SF
School: North Carolina
Class: Sophomore
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 235
Projected Draft Range: Mid 1st Rounder
Likelihood that he will Leave: 50%
Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because even though he plays for one of the most notable college basketball teams in the country, he doesn’t do it in a spectacular fashion. Also, he is in the same conference with two young men that are favorites to take home player of the year honors in Shamarr Ballard and Brent Christmas. I’m not sure when he will come out but when he does, he is going to make some team happy.

Why Aren’t You Hearing About Him: Because sometimes, good players just got lost among the more exciting ones. Ethan Alexander may be the nation’s best kept secret. A bit undersized but extremely versatile, Alexander quickly became the go to guy for the Trojans and is currently leading the team in almost every category. Alexander has been getting better each game and his stock has quietly went up. In my opinion, if Alexander were to leave after his freshman season, it is definitely possible that he will hear his name called as early as the top 5.

ROMANO NIKEZIC: SLOVENIA 18 Year Old SMALL FORWARD
Let me start of by saying that Nikezic isn’t your typical foreigner that will mumble short simple English phrases and need a translator on draft day. Nikezic’s mother is actually an English teacher and Nikezic speaks better English than some Americans. With that being said, Nikezic is a young kid with a lot on his mind and he has not hesitated to say it. Nikezic has been very open about the fact that he feels that he is what the “NBA is missing”. At 6’10” 205, Nikezic has shown the ability to score in the paint but more impressively, everywhere else outside of the paint. Because he is so young and so impressive, the media has overloaded us with Nikezic hype this past month and it has not gone over too well with many players in America. Former Texas Southern SF and NBA draftee Chris Mitchell said that the “white media didn’t cover Abioye Turay like that”. Former Kentucky SG Antonio Griffey said “he ain’t proved nothing to me that would make me think he’s not star. We got people like Revis, Ballard, Register in college and they got him ranked above those guys? Man, even Brent Christmas. I just don’t see what makes this guy so special”. As a 18 year old however, Nikezic has embraced the hate as most young teens would saying “I expect to have haters. That’s what haters do. They hate”. Time will tell if this young man lives up to the hype but I can tell you he isn’t making a ton of friends.

Relationships: Former TSU SF Chris Mitchell and former Kentucky SG Antonio Griffey have both made negative comments about Romano Nikezic.

January 4th

- So far, the race for National Player of the Year has gone just about as expected with a few exceptions. We expected the ACC boys, PG Shamarr Ballard and SG Brent Christmas, to light up the stat sheet and they have done just that. Both are in the top 5 in the nation in scoring and their teams are performing well. Although not as electric or talked about UCLA’s Bruno John Misty is also having a great season and is in the hunt.

A few pleasant surprises that we didn’t expect are Purdue senior SF Gary Williams who is averaging over 20 points, the dominant freshman center out of Arizona Marcelo Revis who is averaging 19 points and 12 rebounds and Indiana’s PF Cameron Register and Kansas’ SF Nyeem Miller who are both looking to be favorites for defensive player of the year. It’s still very early but we have a great race between a few spectacular players.

January 7th

- It has been announced that this year, the SimWorld big board will not be the only big board available. We have been informed that additional sites such as CWSappscouting.com and other sites will be providing Big Boards as well. For some of you this may be a good thing but for others that rely too much on the rankings to select your player, it may cause some confusion. Use the big boards as a tool and not as a crutch. Good luck!

January 11th

- Ohio State’s Zykesis Savage saw his stock raise with a great performance against the consensus top prospect in the world, Indiana freshman PF Cameron Register. Savage logged 22 points, 9 rebounds 5 blocks and 2 steals. Now Register had an even better game with 21 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 blocks and 2 steals but the point is that Savage showed just how talented he is and how productive he can be against top players.

- Rumors have been circulating that star Texas players PG Archer Payne and C Dareek Slimm have continued to have issues with one another. Several unnamed sources have stated that Slimm is seriously considering transferring. Slimm addressed the rumors simply stating that it’s “nonsense”. Hopefully the two can settle whatever differences they have and continue to be a top 10 team in the nation.

January 14th

- Top prospect, Indiana PF Cameron Register breaks leg in win against Northwestern and will be out for the remainder of the season. Reports are that Register is taking it extremely hard.

- Pittsburgh SG Rico Silver gaining some momentum in the player of the year talks with a 36 point game and a game winner against Syracuse.

- Almost a month and a half after the incident, South Dakota State decides to suspend freshman PG Austin Stewart indefinitely. According to the school’s AD, “Austin will step back on the court when we feel he is mentally ready to handle his responsibilities”. Stewart is currently 9th in the nation in scoring.

January 17th

- SimWorld.com is made up of three scouts that generally work together to put together one big board. January 20th

- Arizona Freshman Center Marcelo Revis has announced that he will be declaring for the draft this year. He is expected to be a top five pick.

- Brent Christmas says that he is “feeling the pressure” of declaring for the draft but right now, expects to stay in school for his fourth and final year.

- Texas A&M junior PG Etwan Sanders says that he thinks he deserves to be player of the year but feels that it will be tough to surpass Kansas Sophomore SF Nyeem Miller who is the frontrunner at the moment.

January 24th

- Duke PG Jerrell Alonzo says that PF Bryce Desimore is “crazy” if he thinks that the Big Ten is the toughest conference in basketball right now. This was in response to Desimore’s comments that the addition of himself and freshmen studs Zykesis Savage and Cameron Register make the Big Ten the best and toughest conference to play in.

Keep it up boys, you make 2K much more fun for me and many others. If I had to make one suggestion though show my school FGCU some love with a prospect one of these days haha. Nah there are more Purdue players than that. Kyle Reedwater was the only notable one worth drafting in 2k16 but there were several others that just weren’t talented enough to get drafted such as PF Jeffrey Thomas and SG Javari Tatum.

As far as 2k17 though:

SG Tommie Fletcher comes out in Draft Class 3 and always goes either late first or early second when I am testing.

SF Gary Williams is a senior that will be coming out in Draft Class 4 and that usually gets drafted early second round during tests.

SG Darius Alvarez was a prospect in Draft Class 2 but usually doesn’t get drafted.

And looking at my list there are at least three other Purdue players that will be getting drafted in the first or second in the next three to four classes.

Oh, and I hate Indiana. I am actually a Cincy fan.
