Awesome work guys! Have you decided yet if you will have links to consolidated newsfeeds by DCs? It would be great to be able to have access to the newsfeeds along with each scouting reports in a easy accessible spot. I like to read the accompanying newsfeeds for the upcoming classes as I play each season. I try not to look ahead at the real time newsfeeds and it's challenging to go back through posts. You guys did a great job of this last year if I recall.

Don't want to make any guys not on the list wait any longer so there are links below for DC1 scouting report pdf, DC1 scouting report powerpoint and the entire Year 1 Newsfeed on one Word Document. After this post, we will immediately move into Year 2/ DC2. Once again, as the end of year 2 approaches, that means we are preparing to release the SimWorld official roster, SimWorld fictional roster and the Draft Class 1 and 2 simultaneously. Keep an eye out:

Side Note: I didn't include the "Help Me Fill A Need" section that I usually include. I know you guys like it but I just think it will be more fun and interesting to force you guys to read the actual write ups and scout these guys. Hope you enjoy!

                                November 10th
                                SimWorld’s Picks for Breakout Seasons

                                *In no particular order

                                1) PG Nakevion Johnson/ Arizona State/ Sophomore
Johnson was already one of the top point guard prospects after his first year and had a spectacular year defensively. With a year under his belt as the floor general at Arizona State, I expect him to improve offensively and be a player of the year candidate.
                                2) PF Jayson Callhan/ North Carolina/ Sophomore
Callahan was establishing himself as one of the premier defenders and rebounders when an injury put him down for the remainder of the season late last year. Callahan is now back and fully healthy and I think he could be top ten in the nation in both blocks and rebounds.

                                3) C Dominique Battle/ Clemson/ Junior
The 300+ pound center has been quite impressive in his two years as a Tiger but has not been nearly as dominant as he has shown he can be. With more experience and team chemistry, I’m hoping that Battle can be a 16 and 10 guy that I know he can be.

                                4) SF Eli Bailey/ Denver/ Sophomore
This young man went from a “guy putting up big stats at a small school” to a serious potential first round prospect. Last year, he won conference player of the year as a freshman but this year I think he is going to go nuts against lower caliber competition.

                                5) PF Vaquan Brooks/ St. John’s/ Sophomore
This kid really came on late last year as a freshman. He is coming in to this year as one of the most skilled post players offensively in the nation. If he stays healthy, he can be a serious All American candidate at the end of the year.

Conley and Blackshear confirm the assumption that the scoring title will be a two way race all year

Even though it’s only been two games, the two leader scorers from last year came out the gate lighting it up. Villanova Junior G Derwin Amani Blackshear and Dayton Senior F Matt Conley are widely regarded as the best shooters in the nation and the two have not disappointed in their first two games of the season. After their first two games Conley and Blackshear are averaging 37.4 and 36.2 respectively. Of course we can expect those numbers to drop significantly…. Or not. Who knows. But I doubt anyone will be catching these two during the season.

North Carolina sophomore Jayson Callahan looking great returning from injury

Callahan and the Tar Heels expected the Callahan’s return to be a bit rocky after being off the court for more than half a year. Callahan looks as if he hasn’t missed a beat though. In three games, the young big man is averaging 14.3 points, 12.3 rebounds and 4 blocks per game. Although it’s been against less talented competition than he will see in ACC play, it has still been extremely impressive.

Taking a look at the top high school recruits

*I could have this list change throughout the newsfeed but I ain’t got time for that so these high school rankings will remain the same until these kids enter college during the next season.

It’s never to early to look at some of the high school talent since these players will eventually end up as prospects that you will have the opportunity to draft. These are the top ten high school players this year. The rest of the top 100 will become available in the January newsfeed.

                                1) PG Archer Payne/ 6’10” 225 lbs.
Yes you read that right. He is a 6’10” point guard. No, this isn’t a coach that’s putting his center at point guard just to get some attention. This kid has been a point guard all his love and just shot up there and was too good at his craft to change his position. It’ll be interesting to see his skill set develop but right now he seems to be a great distributor.

Where’s He Gonna Go: Top Five – Texas A&M, Memphis, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas

                                2) Dayshon Kearne/ 6’8” 210 lbs.
A dominant player since his sophomore year, Kearne has shown that he can do just about anything on the court. It seems that there is never a time where Kearne isn’t the smartest, most athletic and talented player on the court.

Where’s He Gonna Go: Verbally committed to Kentucy

                                3) Savon McSwain/ 6’10” 235 lbs.
Savon McSwain is a big man that can shoot like a guard but he is also a scary defender. He’s already logged 3 ten block games during his senior season and I’m sure there are more to come. If he continues to develop this skill set he is going to be soooo scary.

Where’s He Gonna Go: Top Three – Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State

                                4) PG Cedric Wright/ 6’6” 189 lbs.
Cedric Wright is one of the more versatile players in the country. The young man is still learning how to effectively run the point but he can score from just about anywhere on the court and he rebounds better than most forwards.

Where’s He Gonna Go: Top Five – UCLA, USC, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State

                                5) C Toriano Robinson/ 6’10” 249 lbs.
Not to say that any of the other players on this list DON’T have a high basketball IQ, but I think Robinson is just in a league of his own in that area. Always seems to make the right play and he is so skilled on both sides of the ball.

Where’s He Gonna Go: Verbally committed to Vanderbilt

                                6) PF Kendall Dickerson/ 7’1” 220 lbs.
Where’s He Gonna Go: UCLA, Kentucky, Georgetown

                                7) SF Brodie Goldman/ 6’7” 220 lbs.
Where’s He Gonna Go: Top Five – USC, California, Cal Poly, UNLV, Arizona State

                                8) SF Nyeem Miller/ 6’9” 231 lbs.
Where’s He Gonna Go: Verbally Committed to Kansas

                                9) SF Stacey Augustine/ 6’9” 235 lbs.
Where’s He Gonna Go: Top Three – Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest

                                10) PG Jerrell Alonzo/ 6’3” 196 lbs.
Where’s He Gonna Go: Top Five – North Carolina, Duke, Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Syracuse

What the hell is a Miko Niko and why is he flying up my draft board

When I got a call from Ronyell a year ago telling me “Yo, you need to check out Miko Niko”, I thought he was telling me about a new kid’s movie to take my daughter too. Little did I know that there was a kid in Greece not even old enough to get in to the club taking out grown men on the court. He’s now 18 and his improvement has been nothing short of spectacular. After watching some additional tape on the small forward, Yellz called me back and said “Other than Okocha and Blackshear, he might already be better than any player that the NCAA has to offer”. I had a hard time taking him seriously, but he didn’t sound like he was joking SO… consider this your official wake up call on Miko Niko. Time to keep an eye on him and see if he’s really as good as Yellz says he is.

Freshman that are already lighting it up at the next level

Just because a freshman’s first few games are impressive, it doesn’t mean he’s going to be a top NBA prospect, but it damn sure makes scouts take a look.
