    1) So eventhough we turn ACE off teams controlled by the CPU will ALWAYS play with ACE on?

    2) Shot locations is the one thing annoying me the most. No matter what I'm doing the CPU end up taking WAY too many shots from "close". Is this because CPU is using ACE and "overruling" the touches tendency. I often see the CPU call the same play over and over if the other team can't stop it, thus leading to messed up shot locations. No way to fix this? Then why do we even have shot location sliders in 2K? What do they do?

    3) Let's say I was to turn playcalling all the way down to 0 in coaching profiles. Would ACE still call plays or will freelance offense be used.Could that, in theory, lead to better shot locations for CPU-teams eventhough the gameplay might be ugly?
    1) ACE is always ON for the CPU. There’s no way around it, but Defensive Settings do work as the baseline config for CPU teams even though they use ACE for adjustments.

    2) There is something else outside of ACE, Sliders, or Roster that determines drive & shot decision making. That 4-8 foot shot is hard coded into the game. You can move attack sliders to extreme high or low settings and get rid of some of those shots, but if you’re looking at CPU/CPU then there’s no way to get most players to break down their defender into shot animations. They settle for that shot when a defender stops their drive progress. I’ve tried Attack The Basket & 3PT Tendency at 90-100 before and it only takes a couple of those shots away each game.

    3) Run Plays at 0 means you will see the team’s default Freelance offense (usually 4-out) after the ACE series finishes running at the start of the game. ACE kicks back in for the last possession of every quarter and the last 2 minutes of the 4th/OT. I don’t think this will help your shot location since you will get fewer clean Mid/3PT/Lob looks from off-ball actions.

So obviously 2k20 has some issues, and for that reason I’m still playing 2k19, with your sliders of course. One of few slider sets I’ve found that’s tailor made for lock to player-mode.

Anyway, I just noticed that you’ve made considerable changes to them since I picked them up. Most notably gamespeed all the way up to 74 and backdoor cuts to 75. I thought those cuts messed with the plays?

If you have time I would love to hear your thoughts behind some of the changes, before I change mine. Still rocking that SimNation roster btw, absolutely love it, so thanks.
