Heads up, no way can I even do sliders right now with the game in its current state after the update. I’d just be trying to fix what’s broken. Once (if) they fix the defense then I can dial it back in. No roster or slider set can fix the no help and cpu d right now unfortunately…

Awesome! Ya, there are no freelances or series currently in the game that represent how teams play today. Had to do it through plays with heavy Chicago, pistol, DHO actions. I’m liking it. But still a ton more team specific plays to add. Been watching as many games as I can taking notes. I’m adding as we go…

Awesome! Ya, there are no freelances or series currently in the game that represent how teams play today. Had to do it through plays with heavy Chicago, pistol, DHO actions. I’m liking it. But still a ton more team specific plays to add. Been watching as many games as I can taking notes. I’m adding as we go…

I’m looking to start a franchise soon which I’ll be playing the majority of the time. I’m willing to wait on updates to this roster set. Would you suggest waiting for the next release (s)? I’ll do my own accessory and shoes updates but if the further update will have updates to team playbooks, coach edits, ratings etc. I’ll wait.

I’d wait! We added and redid all badges yesterday. Those are done. I put another 5 hours into tendencies and plays from 1st few days games. Vitals being added now, coaches soon. I have to add Id say 60 or so plays to teams still from 1st few days. Adding Ish Wainwright to Suns as 2 way, etc. I’d give it a week or 2. I haven’t uploaded the recent changes yet though. Will just wait a bit.

How’s everyone doing with all the DHO’s? It takes a bit to get used to but once you get it you can really replicate today’s game and create off of them. It’s that timing window and making sure you stop and come to a complete stop for a smooth dho. Just curious how others are doing with it?

DHO's = Very nice. Thank you for the tips. Works really well.

Coach, saw you on other page for Help Defense issues. They will still be there but changing the Defensive settings will make a Big difference. When you using PLAY NOW, and edit Defensive Settings it will change for BOTH sides= CPU and your team. When in MyNBA, you will have to take control of CPU and make the changes for them. They do Save after a Time Out. Lots of Defensive Setting that you can adjust to make a difference on PNR plays.

Here is a link to my sliders, at the TOP in orange is the Defensive changes I am trying. Helps, not a complete fix. ALL SO, I am trying Switch ALL. on some games:

Appreciate the tip. So I have tested every player with 99 help d iq, d awareness at 100, switch teams help d slider at 100,99,1,0 (just in case it was backwards, jacked up d sliders for cpu to 100 and it doesn’t work. I also set cpu defense. In my nba I gameplan for team. It’s just hard coded in. It’s the hedge defender and 2k hard coding the help. The help doesn’t register til your in the paint. I’ve tested the **** out of it. Lol They have to internally fix it. I’m just hoping it’s done by the time the roster goes live! That thread is like 100 pages long full of tests, videos, etc. it’s crazy what happened to this game starting October 1st.

On a positive note Celtic and this file is making a ton of progress! Contracts, badges, vitals, all 1st week teams tendencies updated and done. I just still need to add the plays which is around 100-120 right now to add between all teams film study. I will probably knock that out tomorrow. Accessories, potentials, and coaches on deck.

I use custom sliders. HOF with def awareness, def consistency, on-ball d, and lateral quickness all on 100

I’m finally on my final drafts of playbooks now. Have all but 9 teams completely scouted and adding all the scouted plays over the next few days. Have 4 teams final as of right now. Should be 100% complete/final by the weekend. I can post a video of them all again when done…

I'm seeing too much driving/shooting by DeJounte Murray and not even close to enough touches/drives/shoots from Keldon Johnson.

I just updated and finished the Spurs today. They are 1 of the 4 teams I just went final with today. The last file I put up has had a TON of tendency tweaks since. I got Vassell, Keldon, and white way more of a factor now after scouting and watching them play some games now. Plus redid their playbook to better represent their style. To better represent Poetl in Running PNR’s, Chicago, pistol, dbl drags, pins into side PNR’s, AI action, and a few misdirections pop likes to run. I’ll relook at touches tonight when I get the file back. I do know 2k has top 2 players hard coded for majority of offense though… smh… But that shouldn’t really be a problem with Spurs so I’ll look and go test them some more… that has made it tough at times especially with teams with 3+ stars… I was watching the Spurs Laker game last night and saw a lot of attacking from DeJounte Murray though. I got some better plays for him now in 2-5 PNR’s too with Poetl. Fun fact I coached against him numerous times as he’s from my area.
