Hey JB! Having Tons of fun with your classes!

I'm running an expansion team and was lucky enough to see those lottery balls fall my way and moved up from the 5th pick of the draft to the 2nd. I was ecstatic to get a chance to pick from AJ Taylor and Lamonte Wilson. AJ went first, so I went with Wilson. Was tempted to take Drexler (Excited to hear how he pans out for you! @boogee134) because I needed a scoring punch, also thought about reaching for a center because I was desperate for size and rebounding. McKey looked so intriguing and rebounding, but man I couldn't pass up on Wilson's talent. I'm glad I went with him because he's been giving me both scoring AND toughness. Tearing it up in year 1 around the rim with him and I'm excited to see how he develops going forward.

They're to a fantastic start (8-2) and looking towards a deep playoff run this year after the massive leap we took this offseason.

I know its frustrating on your end to deal with the attributes changing glitch, and I hope they fix it soon so I can experience these players true to how you crafted them, but in the meantime they are still incredibly enjoyable and so much of your hard work shines right through.

I am really enjoying this class. I chose to download the second draft class first, simply due to a preference for a few prospects. I ended up coming away with Walker, Quarus, and Blackwell. I plan on doing an auto-gen class next (I will trade the picks) and then downloading DC3.

I imported the true-prospect DNA to get the players right. I used the Spurs and basically sold everyone off for picks in the years I know I'll be importing your classes.

Walker: I traded up for this dude. How could I not?

He didn’t progress. Somehow, I knew he was going to be a bust. It was all just too good to be true. But you swindled me, and I very much enjoyed being duped. Even though he hasn’t gotten better, he is still a tremendous presence on the team. I can honestly roll with him at center for the near future even if he stays as-is. A really fun player to use, and it is tempting to consider starting a franchise with his potential stats altered. All in all, props to you for making such an alluring player and having the sheer audacity to make him a bust lol.

Quarus: Took this dude with my pick.

He progressed a bit, just enough that I know he isn’t a total bust but mildly enough that I know he won’t be a superstar. Still, I love his game. He can either play PG or SG and provide elite perimeter defense with his steal stat and absolutely nutty lateral quickness. He also has decent finishing. I traded for Ricky Rubio for one reason: mentor this guy into gold Dimer, Needle Threader, etc. I think it will make for a player who plays two roles at an elite level as a defender and a guy who can pass out to jump shooters while also having decent finishing. Love this player. Kudos to you for making a dude who can fill valuable roles at either guard spot even while restraining his potential.

Blackwell: Traded up into the mid-first to ensure I'd land this guy.

I’m pretty sure half the people who download your class will draft this guy. For a mid/late first rounder, you absolutely know you’re getting a dude who can fill valuable roles off the bench. I was surprised at how solid he was as a finisher, and I really enjoyed using him as a user defender and even playmaker for my bench unit. I hope he continues to progress and either becomes my sixth man or even a starting PF for my squad.

For DC 3, I have my eyes on Jovic, Qualls (because it’s illegal to make a Kobe comparison a bust, right?), and Ejiofor. I turn my trade difficulty up to 100 and increase the CPU value for draft picks for realism, but I’d really like to come away with at least 2 of these guys.

Draft Class 4 has been uploaded.

Please note that as of today the draft class bug hasn't been fixed. So all of the players ratings and tendency's will get randomized.

The workaround (quite a hassle) is to download the draft class, export each players DNA. Upload the draft class into your MyLeague then import each players DNA.

I (along with others) have submitted tickets to 2ksupport to try to get the draft class bug fixed, but it's still an ongoing issue.

Regardless of what 2k us screwing up this release you continue to make amazing draft classes. Really liking the little brother story with Jayceon at Memphis.

The game changes both attributes and tendencies for all the players in the draft class. only way to bypass this is export and import every player. I was going to wait to see if Friday brings another patch with some fixes but decided to go ahead and import the first class in my sim. took about an hour for everyone.

I will put some of these in the draft classes in my eras, for example 1 of your guys in say the 2000 draft cause that class was weak IRL.

All this exporting/importing is so tedious. Ask any 2K editor though and he’ll tell you tedious is his middle name. It’s worth it. A big bummer this is, and to be honest I’ve accepted this is how it’ll remain. No faith in 2K.
