Nice! Got a screenshot of the final team stats?

Wow! 9 blocks. It wouldn't surprise me if Wemby has a game like that this year.

Played another game after seeing the realistic sliders and rosters had been updated. Not sure what was tweaked, but I definitely think blocks for users' needs to go up and inside shot contact needs to be maxed out. I say that for both because I had a situation where Zach Collins was going up for a shot and Keegan Murray was on him and jumped to block the shot and his hand clipped through part of Collin's hand and arm. I know because I went into replay and watched it over and over to confirm. It should have been a contact foul if not a block completely, bc Collins was smothered and the block attempt timed perfectly, but wasn't. Nothing happened and Collins scored. Its CPU "cheating" crap like this that makes it hard to keep playing. I've seen a lot of block user block attempts that should of been contact fouls and or blocks but nothing happened, and the CPU scored like the defender wasn't even there.

I don't know if that's a problem with the new animation system being poorly implemented or something that can continue to be tweaked with sliders. After the clipping issue, I just turned the game off though because it's not the first time I've seen it. Honestly, I don't remember this kind of stuff with 2k23. Maybe it's just adjusting to 2k24, but animations on the whole feel sloppy and there are definitely some in game situations where there should be some, but for whatever reason they don't register.

Yeah, that's why it's in beta form right now. Still doing TONS of testing. Nothing close to the final thing. And yeah 2k24 is very different. Tendency, Gameplay, & sliders wise. It's all very different which is throwing me for a loop because I'm testing a lot of things that I thought wouldn't have to. My philosophies in tendencies & sliders have been just right since 2K20 but not this year. I've had to test and change things for sure.
I can up user blocks some but gotta still try to find that balance of fouling and sometimes blocks.

I completely understand. I, as I’m sure many others do, appreciate your hard work. My post was not intended to be a gripe. My apologies if it came off like that.

As of late, I've really been testing the mid range game & shot creation. It seems a little more non existent this year in 2k24. I feel like I've made it better so far but still would like it to be at least where it was on 2k23. The off screen mid range tendency & step back tendencies don't seem to work properly this year for some strange reason. So, it's been taking a quite a bit of my time trying to figure this out. Just letting you guys know where I'm at. Started on the Grizzlies yesterday. [emoji106]

Had a medical emergency over the weekend and had to go to the hospital. Just a set back but now I'm back at it. Been working on the Grizzlies playbook, they run a good amount of pick and rolls and not much of anything else in the half court. They were second in the league at scoring in transition so we'll try to get them to play fast. We'll get their tendencies and attributes done soon. We've been testing, trying to get players to operate better in the mid range. Limitless take off was such a huge badge for us. It made players take off for layups/dunks instead of taking jumpers near the restricted area. Ty found some major fixes, things are looking better. Just need to find a balance...

Better quality of the videos! Finally mid range game and shot creation looking consistent.

                          Hey Ty,

have a question for pick and roll defense. I noticed in other settings that it’s easier to get around ball screens on the defense. Is that because of the low on ball defense ratings. I suggest it makes other parts of the defense worse if I turn them up? What’s your guess on pick and roll defense?

Are you asking about like pick dodging? I boost the Pick Dodger the badge because screens are way too strong for on and especially off ball screens. Helps guys fight through screens. I also give guys the hall of Fame pick dodger badge accordingly by looking at the best ball screen navigators in the league from https://www.bball-index.com/leaderboards-tool/

What did you change to get more mid range? I noticed they have nearly all guards, wings and shooting bigs at 85+ Spot up 3 this year. Many guards at 95!

Took me about 5 days to find the fix. It was driving me crazy. Some tendencies are not working like previous years or the values have just changed drastically. Combination of off screen mid range, step back mid range, & contested mid range quite high. With drive pull up mid range on the lower side. The mid range game & shot creation were non existent. So was finishing all the way at the rim. Ton of 2 foot jumpers in gameplay out the box.
Yeah, the spot ups are too high for some odd reason. Got guys pulling 3s like crazy, who really shouldn't be.
