Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
Got another quick game in with the newest realistic slider set (updates 54). I was the Mavericks vs. CPU Pistons. Mavs lost but came back to almost close in the end from 14 down. I did slow the overall game speed down to 43 from 44 to see how it would feel. Not much difference, so I may down it to 42 to keep testing. There were points in the game where the CPU players had superhuman like speed bursts to get points. I don't know if that has something to do with the animation system, but overall, another fun game. Duran killed the offensive boards in this game. A few of them were just classic 2022 Mavs not being able to rebound...Overall game stats continue to look good. I love that the ball feels so alive. Keep improving this! It's awesome so far! I wanted more fouls by the CPU and more blocks for User in this game.
Significant individual stat lines:
Mavericks -
Doncic 31 mins 28 pts 6 reb 9 asts 2 stl

Sounds good. I’ll look again for O-Max. I didn’t see him in the games I played last night. I was also surprised that the AI didn’t play Seth Curry at all.Comment

Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
Some feedback on a game I just finished with the newest realistic slider set (updates 55). I was the Mavericks vs. CPU Magic. Mavs lost big late but the reason I’m sharing is because I slowed the game down to 41 from 44 for this just see what it would feel like. I have to say I think I like it better. Players had the weight I’m looking for. I encourage Ty and his team to try it. It may be where the speed needs to actually be. It had the “feel” of your roster and slider combo of 2k23. I could follow the on-court action better. There much much fewer visual issues with animations, contact in the paint was very appropriate, it seemed like players reacted more realistically to situations overall, and star players still showcased their balling skills. Luka still hit big shots. Kyrie could get to the rim and had some nice little scoop layups, Banchero had a few nasty dunks (one all over Powell) etc. It was a great feel of a game I thought. Again, if you guys could just try it and see what you think. I think with a few slider adjustments to a few areas, this could be freaking awesome. Yes, it’s slower, but just give it a try.
Significant individual stat lines:
Mavericks -
Doncic 38 mins 31 pts 6 reb 5 asts 5 turnovers
Irving 37 mins 32 pts, 6 rebs, 5 asts, 1 stl, 6 turnovers
Williams 30 mins 7 pts 4 reb, 1 asts 2 stls
Green 27 mins 7 pts 5 rebs 2 asts 1 turnover
Hardaway Jr. 28 mins 11 pts 3 rebs 2 asts 1 stl 1 turnover
Hardy 17 mins 4 pts 1 reb 2 ast 1 turnover
Powell 30 mins 2 pts 12 rebs 2 asts 3 blk 4 turnovers
Kleber 25 mins 7 pts 8 rebs 2 ast 1 stl 2 turnover
Lively II 12 mins 2 pts 6 rebs 2 asts 2 blk, 1 turnovers
Magic –
Banchero 37 mins 35 pts 6 rebs 3 ast 1 stl 2 blk 2 turnovers
Fultz 36 mins 18 pts 5 rebs 6 asts 2 stl 2 turnovers
Carter Jr 29 mins 18 pts 9 rebs 5 asts 1 stl 1 blk
M. Wagner 18 mins 13 pts 11 reb 1 stl
F Wagner 31 mins 10 pts 6 rebs 6 asts 1 stl 1 turnovers
Isaac 23 mins 10 pts 6 rebs 3 asts 2 blks 2 turnovers
Anthony 27 mins 9 pts 1 reb 5 asts 2 stls
Suggs 31 mins 7 pts 3 asts 4 stls 1 turnover
Full game stats (12 min quarters) with real life stats for comparison with thoughts
Magic (CPU) vs Mavericks (User)
Points 125 vs 103 (2022-23 high was 120 with the low 108 or so.)
FG 51% on 94 shots vs 48% on 87 shots (2022-23 high per game was in the 90s and the low was 83 or so. Pretty good. And Field goal % looks great.)
3PT 35% on 34 shots vs 44% on 25 shots (same as above with 3pts. Looks just about spot on.)
FT 17/21 81% vs 8/11 73% (2022-23 low % was 73.9% and 84% being the high. Attempts per game were 20 being low and 26 being the high). Slider adjustments here for User?
Fastbreak points 24 vs 10 (2022-23 low per game was 11 and 18 was the high. Looks very nice to me.)
PIP 68 vs 42 (2022-23 per game high was 57 while low was 42.) Slider adjustments for CPU somewhere?
Second chance points 20 vs 4 (2022-23 per game high on this was 8.4 with the low being in the negative.) Slider adjustment for both somewhere?
Bench Points 37 vs 24
Assists 34 vs 23 (2022-23 low per game was 22 and the high was 29.6) Slider adjustment for CPU here?
Oreb 10 vs 9 (2022-23 low per game was 7.6 and the high was 13. Looks good to me).
Dreb 39 vs 40 (2022-23 low per game was 30 and the high was 37.) Could tweak sliders for both here.
Steals 15 vs 5 (2022-23 low per game was 6 and the high was 9.) Slider adjustments for CPU somewhere?
Blocks 5 vs 5 (2022-23 low per game was 3 and the high was 6.) Looks good!
Turnovers (Points off) 8 (28) vs 21 (6) (2022-23 low per game was 11 and the high was 16.) Slider adjustments for both somewhere? Or this could just be an outlier game…
Team Fouls 9 vs 16 (2022-23 low per game was 17.8 and the high was 22.)
Dunks 8 vs 5
I know some of the stats need work, but again, my point with this post is the feel of the game at 41 game speed. The weight of the players, the physics, slower animations, it felt better overall in my opinion; more like what Ty and his team created for 2k23.

Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
I had a game last night with mavs vs griezzlies.
Felt really good went into overtime where I lost I was the mavs.
Regulear game stats:
Griezzlies 115 : mavs 115
43/90 48% : 41/88 47%
14/40 35% : 18/39 46%
15/18 83% : 15/19 79%
7 Fastbreak 8
46 in Zone 36
8 2nd Chance 12
25 assist 22
8 oreb 14
37 dreb 42
5 steals 4
9 blocks 1
8 turnover 11
It felt really good for me game speed was 44. played with realistic sliders.
I think we also still have to recognize that some gameplay stile has changed. For drawing fouls it helps when you do more eurostep or craddle layups. Also you can draw fouls by getting the opponent up in the air with pumpfakes but this is something I still have to learn…
I also try to Block way too less. I always just do right stick contest. ( results in less blocking numbers and also maybe lesser fouls)
I tried to change the mavs rotation but it didn’t saved always jumped back to the old rotation. Is there a bug in the game did someone else recognize this?Comment

ACE rotations definitely have their issues for sure.

Re: Most Realistic Gameplay Roster 2K24
Maybe these settings can help but I am not so sure
Set player minutes
- Set substitution to AUTO
- Set substitution method to ROTATION
- Match bench depth to the number of players I play with
- Set the performance factor of the lineup to 100
