Hey shady. I have been playing with the new updates sliders (using 2ks new -8 roster) and have been loving it! Just had a double OT game that ended in a anticlimactic finish by the Orlando Magic. I was the bucks and had the game in the bag at the end of the first OT until Jared Dudley and Khris Middleton choked on some important free throws.


As you can see Vucevic absolutely killed John Henson on the glass. Was a very fun and satisfying game. (This is my first attempt at posting pictures of my stats I don't know if this will work or not...)

Havent you said all foul sliders to 100 except for shooting fouls?
And also on ball defense (User) to 50 again?

Yes, fouls all at 100 forgot to update the OP I ended up not changing the On-ball defense though...

I'm in class atm I'll get to some of you guy's feedback later tonight.

Played a game with the changes. Cavs shot really hot(over 65% in the first half), but my defense did get progressively better as the game went on. We fought back, but the Cavs hit a big shot anytime we cut it close, if Melo didn't have a bad night I think we had a legitimate chance.

played the game last night, and every contact by CPU i mean EVERY contact in layap, paint they got foul, 22 team fouls. I played with Memphis and bodied them with Gasol and Randolph, i got only couple fouls. Its pissing me off.

alright so I don't know if I jinx it or what but after speaking highly my next 2 games got out of control especially the cpu hitting every 3 pointer contested or not and I can't hit a shot to save my life!

I wanted to address this post individually, now this is why sometimes I need to see the player stats. Now please correct me if I'm wrong because I could be dead wrong and just defending my slider set, but to ME the stats actually look fine and I have no problem with this game and I will tell you why. First of all 2K has an issue with the CPU NEVER slowing down the pace and playing almost all of their starters 35-42 MPG regardless of the score in the 4th quarter, now the reason I bring this up is because I have lost games in 2K by 40 or so points not because it was that bad of a blowout, but because the CPU almost NEVER lets the foot off the gas, never take out their starters...was this the case here? See if this were a real spurs game Pop would have taken his guys out half way through the third lol...my example is 2 weeks ago the game I watched where the Spurs beat the Thunder 130-91...Now honestly? They probably could have dropped 160 in that game, they shot 62% from 3 and 58% from the field and this was WITHOUT the starters playing the whole game...So sometimes I feel like in 2K15 the blowouts get much more crazy scoreboard wise than they seem like they should but to me that is no problem because games like this happen at least twice a week in the NBA...that's just my take on it, let me know if this continues to be an issue.

Why did you change it played great for me yesterday. What will be difference in sliders yesterday and today what more can I expect

I try not to look at it as "more or less", but better or worse. I think this set has better rebounding and shooting. I noticed that I myself am getting better at playing defense, so I need the CPU to be better at playing offense, so that's what I was shooting for here.

Looks like Middleton choked in general lol, that's crazy though FT's piss me off sometimes!

I don't think from my stats or any of the other stats posted that fouls have been an issue...a lot of times it depends who you are playing as well as your points of emphasis if you always have it on "play physical defense" then yes you will get more fouls.

What were you trying to get with the presentation sliders? What is it supposed to represent?

I was going for TNT presentation style (I got the camera perfect btw) While ESPN and NBATV focus on crowd noise, TNT has MUCH more on the court chatter...and NONE of the channels have it where you can hear the dribbling and rims as loud as on default, that is why the sound effects are so low. If you have a really good pair of headphones (I'm using the Astro a50's) these settings sound amazing.

***Like I said earlier I forgot to put my updated foul sliders in the the OP, everything is now at 100 except for the shooting fouls which have stayed the same you can check those out on the front page.

***So does anyone have any opinions/suggestions for blocks? is 60/60 doing anything for you? Seems to be a lost cause at this point.

Blocks seem to be fine at 60/60. I don't think there is anything possible to change to help them.

Hey guys, I've been testing the new sliders again on PS4, 12 min quarters and yet i can't feel satisfied with the outcome of the games.

All of them keep ending with over 110 points for each team, which keeps giving me some unrealistic stats as i'm usually the team with most points per game and most opponent's points per game. I can't get a single game to end with my team or the opponent with 80-90-100 points, just as real life games and some cpu vs cpu simmed games.

What do you guys on PS4 do to score that amount of points on 12 min quarters? Any specific roster? I'm using 2K's and have also tried timsmooth's (with an amazing CLE 143 - 135 NYK outcome). Or maybe I'm horrible on D and the man on offense!

Maybe try slowing the game down a lot. Also if you are playing as the Cavs you are going to have high scoring games. Search up Shady Mike on YouTube and watch his full gameplay. That helped me understand how to slow the game down.

Just had a quick view of the Momentum vid (cheers Mike!), and I might be noticing a slight difference in the general pace of the game between PC and PS4. If both our game speed sliders are at 50 I'm definitely thinking PS4 runs faster. I'm trying again with game speed at 48 and might reduce to 45 depending on the outcome and general feel of the game.
