Re: Shady Mike's "Real Feel" NBA 2K15 Real FG% Superstar Sliders
I just played an incredibly fun game against the Mavs. This set really rewards you for running plays and playing to your team's strengths, and punishes you for trying to play street ball all the time. The stats were as follows:

Do the majority of you guys play defense using 1 player and allow cpu to be on there own or go full user. The cpu is awful at going thru screens and leaving guys wide open and switch or help when not even needed.Comment

User on-ball defense all the way, your CPU defenders will usually get torn up pretty bad on the perimeter, and that is by design.Comment

I brought this up earlier and it looks like others are having the same problem. It seems like you can't really play perimeter d at all now. I get trying to free up the screen game but there should be some way to defend shooters coming off screens. Even my lockdown defenders are getting sucked up on every screen.Comment

Icon switch when you think someone is going to come off a screen. You might still find it hard to close out in time, though, as the CPU can be really good at setting screens. If you're still having trouble, set the off-ball defensive pressure to "tight" for whomever is giving you issues.Last edited by CX1329; 05-28-2015, 08:05 PM.Comment

I like it don't get me wrong I was just asking for people's opinions. I'm sure when playing enough like anything else I will adjust and get used to it. Point is you have to make changes in your defensive settings with these or you will get tore up. Playing with these Sliders if you blink you could pay the price especially with really good shooting teams.Comment

Yea definitely, and all I'd say is just make sure your POE is set to limit perimeter shots, and if need be set off ball defense to tight on shooters, and if you are still struggling you could also boost your defensive awareness by 5-10 points (although that will offset the rebounding just a little bit!) Also within the coming week i"m going to officially drop the offensive rebounding a bit (not near my PC so I don't remember what I had changed it too!)Comment

Changing your defensive settings to play tight off-ball defense on good shooters definitely helps, but don't go too crazy, otherwise you'll be seeing backdoor cuts all day, especially when playing against teams that can shoot and drive. Personally, I just adapt to whatever is happening on the court. If the CPU is hitting a lot of threes, I'll tighten up the defensive pressure. If I'm seeing too many drives and cuts and giving up too many points inside, I'll sag off a bit more.Comment

Played my first game using these sliders & I beat the Mavericks using the Spurs 108-96.
Overall, it played good but I got up to over a 20 point lead during 3rd quarter. It didn't seem that my guys got nearly as tired as quick but then again it was the first game of the season.
It was the first time I've played since the last patch & the shooting for both teams is much easier. I will play some more tonight and see how it goes.Comment

Superstar-Sim was getting bit too easy, looks like I'm gonna have to try these out. I admire all the work you have put into this.
Also, I agree your monitor is crazy underrated... Because it's the same as mine!
