2nd Controller to use CPU vs CPU in MyGM.
With the first,choose a team,the second Controller remains at CPU.
Before the tipoff,turn off the first Controller.
Current: DEN (29.) VS OKC (2.) 70-70 3rd Quarter (next close game).

I have found that superstar difficulty is so much better than HoF. Really makes the game a lot more realistic.

Makes sense, HoF is supposed to be unrealistic.

On HoF the scores would always reach 110+ but I just recently watched a game in MyGM mode where my Lakers beat the Warrior 106-103 but in my save of MyGM the warriors were playing their 2nd game in a row and were on a 2 game losing streak so fatigue and team morale was also a factor. But we were up by 12 heading into the 4th and Warriors made a great comeback.

I watch games - SIMCAST holds zero interest. Why watch dots run around a square!

What is the difference between HoF and Superstar??? What makes it more realistic??? - average score from over 30 games now is about 98 per team.

Just watched a 89 to 83 game. Bucks vs. Wizards - fun game to watch (way better then Bucks vs Cavs which ended in a blow out 115 to 84ish

So you take two controllers you put one under CPU and the other one under your team. Then when the game starts with player introductions etc. you just unplug the first controller the one you put under your team. Then it asks you to either reconnect the controller or press start. So you press start on your second controller and now you have the CPU controlling both teams and reconnecting the original controller will not mess anything up. Now previously in 2K15 when you did this you still had the ability to make subs and call timeouts. But it seems that in 2K16 you are not able to do that but it is still fun to watch your team play against others.

Is this still an issue for anyone?

I stumbled across a way to play CPU vs. CPU without the need of a second controller, ALL BY ACCIDENT lol
It's a little time consuming because you essentially have to load the game twice, but it's worth it because you also have full control with subs and what not, without needing to pause the game.
Go into Simcast Live and once the first point is on the board, go to 'Save MyGM and quit', then reload the game from the main menu, and that's it
It will mess with your in-game volumes, but that's an easy thing to fix.

REAL COACH MODE

OMG - it works in MyLeague - REAL coach mode!

1. PLAY game with you on a controller
2. pre tip off switch to SimCast LIVE
3. wait for first basket
4. just after team inbounds the ball QUIT and SAVE to MyGM or MyLeague
5. go back into game and BINGO - Coach Mode

When you go back into the game it thinks you are still PLAYING but instead of "in" SimCast Live you are in the main game. IT'S A MIRACLE (they will probably "FIX" this bug).

A few things you will need to do is fix the sound options and also make sure you go into Coachs Settings and change things to manual. Also camera angels will be changed

WOW!!! I haven't touched much of nba2k16 (been playing madden 16) as I had hoped for a coach mode style of play but this find...well, I just want to leave work and go home! Also, are the sliders by BKelley08 the ones that are being used and if so are both the same for user and cpu? Thank you in advance!

I do NOT know if anything changes in true Coach mode play! That seem good and I changed to Super Star level as opposed to HoF.

Played my 1st True Coach Mode game last night - WOW - exciting lost 100-101 with a desperation from 3 point that bounced off the rim straight up and came down NOT in the net shot.

Bucks lose to the Knicks 101-100 :-( in game #1.

When I WATCHED the game CPU vs. CPU a few weeks ago they lost by 27.

LOL - trust me - I know that feeling. Just make sure you change theCoachs Settings to manual for a number of things. You can save a game and come back and it still works.

There are still some things I don't like but maybe it was in last years PS4 game. For instance, I can't find a way to ALWAYs double team a certain player. I could do that in the last REAL coach mode PS3 game but not in this version. NOT complaining though!
