Do you play with plays and do you also substitute correctly and can you also post a stats pic up so maybe I can see how the game is going for you

Can someone verify if this is 2.8 because I tried playing this and I blew the cpu out each game I played

Are you running set plays to get your guys free? And are you trying to take advantage of their hot spots on the floor? I have nights where I shoot lights out and some i don't... always on the 45% mark or close... how was your 3 fg% on your games?

I'd suggest working on the team rotation on subs for your best lineup be rested on the 4th...

Adjust defense, especially when it comes to points in the paint and rebounds.

By the half of the 2nd I pause and check all the stats I am loosing, then adjust. More often is avoid outside shooting and focus on rebound, I make rebounds my mission..:

          Hope it helps

I'll show you mine stats when I'm home and in some way they are even better than yours. It would be very useful to see the stats of CPU also, because that's where you really see the effect of the sliders. For example I'm averaging something around 5-6 blocks per game and the CPU is averaging 1.5 in 20 games. Again you are shooting 10 more FT and FTA per game than average, and this could mean fouls against you are too high.

Let's be clear: we are being picky here just for the sake of the stats. Sliders are great.

When I said that something more could be done (= continue changing sliders) was because of stats like rebounds, FT, turnovers, not because of every stat. If it's impossible to change them ok, we are all having fun, no problem with that. If something could be changed I believe a slider maker will always try to achieve that, often in the first months the game is out.

What I'm trying to see is that I see a reason why Ace is still trying to make even better sliders and not settle to previous versions.

            Bye!

Totally get your point bro, and I really get weird rebound or ft stats on a couple of games, but I am ok with since from what I saw it's a game problem not a slider problem...

I really think that is great that ace keeps looking for improvement, after all it's good for all of us.

My point is only to not stress out getting "perfection" and moving away from the great job that is being done.

And we can never forget that every week 2k changes the gameplay, so that's already a pretty damn challenge for ace. I mean, this sliders survived some really rough times...

Anyway, I'm with you on this one, but to me, nothing so far topped 2.8...

I am pretty sure he'll make one better anytime soon, though

Hey . Just tried these and they are quite good. However games are very high scoring and shooting percentages are very high . Only played one game so it's a small sample size. I shot 59℅ and opposition shot 58%

Hoping next update tones this down and also tones down scores. I would prefer to play 12 minute quarters but scores are way too high.

Years ago I was way more picky about stats (and I was younger, eh eh), today I hardly play one game per day and I try to enjoy it the best I can.

Sometimes I can't avoid getting mad at 2K for not fixing glitches or something else that's there for years now. Like the platoon subbing on the first quarter when on AUTO. I mean, the rotation grid is great, but the logic behind it is totally unrealistic.

Maybe one day I'll ask you guy something regarding rotations, a question that no one answered in the main forum.

And are you sure you have set HOF as difficulty BEFORE editing the sliders?

Yes, that's the 2.8 version. For me works perfect. Right now I have a 4-3 Record, and I'm playing right now against the Hornets, working to beat them, in a very equal game.

In my experience, It's not only about General sliders. I mean, I also adjust the coach slider for every single game. I put next a screen shot of my general adjustments. I use the adjustments in general, and then I adjust for every specific rival. For example, put pressure in your individual star rival (example, against Blazers I put individual Pressure on Lillard and McCollum, against Big Guys Stars like Cousins, I normally use Double Defense on Catch Ball with him, etc). I mean, adjust the dfensive slider manually for each rival, but not leave the sliders in Auto. The next screenshots are my General adjustments for all games, then I adjust individually like I said before:

Then, I'm playing a League controlling the 30 teams, even I'm playing only with the Raptors. I do this, so I can control the General Coach Sliders for the 30 teams. I'm using the next table, that's is not 100% accurate (because some coachs have changed), but anyway it's pretty much accurated, and It's a lot better that leaving it all in Automatic. In this way, I also have adjusted the Real Minutes Played for each player in each Team (using the Real Stats). So for example Lillard will play 35 minutes (the Real Stat), and not the 38 minutes that he plays if you leave the CPU Coach him. Like him, all the players. The table for the General Coah Sliders:

Finally, about the Stats I'm having, there's 3 numbers that bothers me: Total Rebounds, Total Free Throws, and Points In Paint (PIP). I don't know how to adjust it. I mean, if I put down the Def Rebounds Slider, the logics said that CPU will increase Off Rebs. Or if I put up the shooting sliders, it will decrease the Total Rebs, but will increase the shooting % (and I don't want it, I'm having good % shooting). So, I leave Ace to work in it, he's the specialist here. But the changes should be very subtiles, in very specific sliders. I mean, between 2.8, 2.9 and 3.0, some sliders changed like 30 or 40 points, and they didn't worked for me. Again guys, is just my opinion. I'm just trying to help to improve the gameplay, getting Real Stats. Cheers.
