I think this a hard coded logic that kicks in during seasons (MyGM or MyLeague), because I'm using SimWorld rosters and sliders and 20 games into the season teams (CPU also sometimes) struggle to shoot more than 30% from 3PT. Don't know if it's morale, fatigue, chemistry or what. In the first 10 games i shoot around 35% and now I miss open 3s with sharpshooters (Fournier and Meeks of the Magic)

AND I'm afraid that release still matters a bit even with Real FG%. The worst thing is to release BEFORE the ideal release point. Things got a bit better when I started to release later than usual

Interesting. I'm 13 games into my season (going 1-12...) and the upper half of the league is hitting 35+ % of its 3s. I'm dead last at 27.8 %. And no, I'm not taking too many with bad shooters (well, maybe with Roberson, but that's more out of necessity):

5.2 3PA/G Oladipo - 25.0 3P%
5.0 3PA/G Morrow - 35.0 3P%
4.3 3PA/G Roberson - 25.0 3P%
3.4 3PA/G Abrines - 19.5 3P%
2.7 3PA/G Westbrook - 34.3 3P%

I'm at the point where I'm avoiding to take 3s with the Thunder's best 3P shooter Abrines, because he's just not making them. His shots are always wasted possessions.

I do the same, sometimes I'm afraid to take 3PT shoots even with the best sharpshooters. Now I try to avoid even semi contested shoots, only open ones. I'm also messing with 3PT slider. I put it to 50 for testing purposes and suddenly CPU started hitting 50%. So there must be a value that takes into consideration the season, so maybe you start high with fresh players and maybe settle in a 32%-37% in the middle of the 82 games, depending of the skill of your shooters. My priority is not to fall under (and over) the real NBA averages windows, like 30%-40%. Now I'm at 31 with 20 games in (SimWorld rosters and sliders)

I just took to the gym and switched to user timing. It's weird. Dipo misses almost every shot that isn't perfectly timed or incredibly close to that.
If RealFG% actually does take timing into consideration, this might have been a cause. I was bricking shots left and right in the gym on RealFG%...

Haha. Sounds good. Keep me posted. Shooting can be easily fixed. Its a good problem to have. Like I said, its all about the consistency long term in ML/GM. Im having a good look at this.

I made a test yerterday playing a quarter with okc and testing the 3pt. I really suggest you use the plays quick 2 and floppy 12 with oladipo. He has to get open on the right corner side, where his hot spot is.
There's a play call swing 51 I guess where oladipo passes to Adams and drives or go to the corner which is also pretty good.

He is the best 3pt shooter on the team as I saw on the version I tested. The second one is Russ and the third Morrow. Each have a diferent hot spot.

The same 2 plays works for morrow.

Fatigue is an issue and the defender also. I played against the spurs to make sure I had the best defenders on me. When I hit 3 3's in a row they put Leonard on me, then it all started to brick...



Timming was not an issue since I never played with OKC and made shots.

I know it's kind of off the point, but I am kind of a specialist on warriors playbook. If you try to use them on okc you'd have more effective 3pt plays available. I made a couple of videos on money plays with the Warriors on my YouTube channel that can help you.

Just a suggestion.

Yep, Latest Official 2K rosters. Once I am settled 100% with this set, I might have a look at either making my own SimWorld rosters or working on a roster.
