Ok so I've been following this thread for awhile now as I've used Armors Madden sliders before and loved them. I bought this game when it first came out and after not buying NBA 2k17 I knew I would be out of practice so I started on default PRO so I could get my swagger back.
After playing about 10 games on default PRO (user shooting, not real player %) I found it too easy so I decided to go up to default ALL STAR. And that's when the cheese began! Players hitting every shot, cpu offensive rebounds when they did ultimately miss a shot, every cpu team running the same multiple screen offense as if they are the warriors, the list goes on.
So I had been setting up my own game plan with ACE off but read in this thread that ACE runs pretty well on either SUPERSTAR or HALL OF FAME. So I tried that. Same cheese but the ACE did make things run a little better. The losses started to pile up and it's not as if I was playing bad enough to lose. It was that the impossible was happening on the cpu side of things so there was nothing I can do to stop them.
I don't mind losing if I play like crap but the unfairness of the higher difficulties is extremely frustrating. So after much thought I've decided to give these sliders on SUPERSTAR level a real shot. Real player % full ACE and all. Played my first game as the Lakers against the Clippers and even though I had a blowout win, the game itself played beautifully. It truly felt like a real basketball game. I can't really get to the bottom of why the score was so lopsided but I'm looking forward to playing more games. Screenshots of stats below....
