Hey, Armor I was testing the injury slider and found just from simulating a week at a time that there are A LOT of injuries when injury frequency slider is at 21 or higher. However, very few if any at all set at 20.
I thought there was am injury severity slider?? My thinking is to set frequency at 21 but lower severity so we still get injuries but more day to day injuries with occasional injuries that force a player out.
Couple that with putting injury effects at 20. This way those play through injuries we will see a ton of aren't effecting the player attributes too much. At 20 it lowered Melo's injury to drop him -3 overall.
What are you guys seeing? And where is the injury severiry slider at? Is there one in 2k?
The first pic is from a week of simming minus the Oladipo injury (which was injury frequency at 25 second game intp season btw). Second pic is setting at 20 with FIVE weeks simmed (Oladipo healed by the time I finished simming).
WAY too many injuries with injury frequency at 21, and virtually Zero at 20. Very frustrating! Idk what to do honestly if we can not adjust severity of injuries.

I am going to stick with all star. I have played like 6 games on superstar and the CPU just doesn't turn the ball over enough and it is to hard to drive the basketball and over all CPU is just to good at closer out on players. Still messing with sliders stuff fell like I am getting close but I have felt that way for like 2 weeks lol. The biggest issue I am having is getting the CPU to shoot a solid % more often. I have been playing has GS to get my sliders down and yes I know they are a good defensive team but to often CPU is shooting like 35-38%. Should I try having CPU offensive consistency at 60? I have been playing it at 50. Not sure what it really does.Comment

Caught the Wizards sleeping a bit..Poor poor shooting night from them, and after the first quarter I felt in control the whole time, though they did bring it back to close a couple times. It is so fun to play with all of these teams in play now I want to start a franchise with all of them! XD using these sliders with the Advanced Rotations and adding real injuries and real draft class I can’t wait to decide on a team (or teams to start the draft with!! Will update with more results as I play more games.Comment

Next game for Celtics. Beat the Knicks as Porzingis fouled out early into the 4th. Advanced rotations does have it's problem but I'll live with it.

Oh my God I didn't know I could have this much fun with a video game. I haven't really played MLB in a few years, but this game owns me.
Even though I'm playing with the Warriors I'm still getting great games after my reset and a custom roster. Learned a ton in my other league and 30 team control and the things I can do are amazing.
Actually may use a custom draft class this year if it comes out before my season is over.
Using Superstar Gold with the attribute traits of Red. Custom roster seems to take away bad players going off and is fair and balanced. I love this game. Sorry for Jay Cutler Armors, but thank you for the sliders even if you weren't going to buyComment

I'm going to test injury sliders out and then start over with custom rosters if I can find a good one on Xbox.
Injury frequency at 21 or higher produces a bunch injuries during simming. As far as played games I haven't played enough at the setting of 21, but for 20 I never saw any.
I saw only one injury league wide in a month of simming at 20. At 21, it was at least 3-5 per day. Weird!
So best thing IMO is to keep it at 21, but BEFORE starting a MyLeague under setup there is an injury severity slider. It says it determines frequency of long term injuries. Basically I can live with too many injuries (imo) if I can find the "perfect" setting for the injury severity slider.
I know Armor, you have it set at 25, which is what I had. So thinking of dropping to 0 just for testing purposes and sim a month real quick. Thinking 5 or 10 will be the best spot though.
Then I think with more injuries, albeit day-to-day now the injury effects slider will need re-tested to make sure players who are hurt aren't so bad that sim stats suffer too much.
Maybe take three guys per month and force a longer injury, and even a season ending injury on him idk. Sorry for the long post, just wanna help out and speak out on something (very important to sim heads) I noticed.

Okay well that was easy to test lol...
When you start a new MyLeague, in the setup options part change Injury severity AND Injury duration both to ZERO. User and Cpu injury frequency at 21, and injury effecrs to whatever you want. I have it at 23 personally.
Just sim a week and watch. Still a lot of injuries but probably more than 90% were of the "hurt" kind, but still had the occasional "out" kind of injury. Best we can do here!
Edit: Just simmed a test week and Jameer Nelson ton right achilles out 6-months. So looks like even at 0 they still have long term injuries. Idk if this is a good or bad thing lol

I just edit injuries. It took me two days to reset up my league and all the teams, so I will use the workaround if needed, but you will find things in this game that legacy issues pop up, but years of work around help youComment

could you change teams and switch to AI team when they should be subbing out for foul trouble?? or would the AI just sub back in ?? damn i need to try AR, just don't see the point if i'm waiting on rosters on the PC !Comment

They sub out sometimes. I don't see many guys in foul trouble so it's only a issue that pops up occasionallyComment

You can also use a second controller for foul trouble. I've been doing that for early or serious foul trouble.
Turn on the second controller. Take control of the cpu team. Sub out out the player. Give control back to cpu and return to playing with the original controller. The cpu still makes the substitution.Tar Heels | Panthers | HornetsComment

I am going to restart my Heat MyLeague. I thought long and hard about it, but I want to go with my real life roster (no Chris Bosh). Bosh is not in the league anymore, feels kinda funny having him and I want to get my young guys some more PT.
Plus I am now locked in with Superstar and a Hybrid Gold/Red set which I will call our Purple Set V1 LOL.
Yep.....so you will see that one posted soon LOL. It will be my last set as far as having different sets. So now you have Gold, Purple and Red.
Gold - For true Regular Joe's looking to have a entry level set into 2K whether that is Pro, All-Star or Superstar level AI/ACE
Purple - A hybrid of Gold and Red and a great middle ground between Gold and Red.
Red - What I would consider the toughest for us "Regular Joe's". I would use this set if you are on Pro level and want a much better challenge. This is the go to set once you master Gold or Purple on whatever level you play.
So I went ahead and downloaded that "All In One" Roster which has all the advanced rotations from Michigan Fan completed as well as all the authentic playbooks and sig shots etc edited. The roster is up to date on injuries as of today as well. I will then manage lineups for all 30 teams as injuries occur or heal and fix Advanced Rotations as needed. It is a little extra work.....but well worth the simulation value they bring in played games as well as simulated games.
I have not run into too many problems with players in foul trouble. I have seen the CPU take them out most of the time. I did have one game where they left a player in too long. So if that happens I will use the second controller workaround to get control of the CPU team, get them out of the game and then return control to the the CPU. Pretty simple.
