Me too.... The trick was i had to start a myleague. I had been using a start today... And it was playing super weird. As soon as i made a new myleague.... It went back to playing really well.

Funny, I always make sure I use your sliders in myleague & tell others to as well specifically because I remember you always stressing that it's needed to get the proper results/experience out of your sliders.

I meant to say a NEW myleague. I had been using a start today myleague and it wasn't playing right with the update...i think because they got rid of start today.

But when i started a new regular myleague... Boom. Back to playing great.

been playing the 2k series for years (offline). So i would say I'm a solid player

1-2 months ago i tried your sliders & settings for myleague. Playing with the Knicks. I'm 3-27 right now. Lost almost every f... game. Pretty frustrating with games like 89 - 120 etc.

Been using your latest "testing sliders" and having some really, really good competitive games right now. Won my first game against the Kings. Something like 108 - 99.

I don't know if its just the Knicks but it's still not easy to win games. But I think the latest sliders are really, really good at the moment.

I think these sliders are fine with CelticLG's list too, I'm honest, I've always been puzzled by the pro level, but these don't look easy at all, as always you did a great job[emoji112][emoji112][emoji112]

My only interest is in your Myleague Sliders as this is the only mode I play. And i must say another year another great job by you and the whole community. I was wondering how you came to your progression sliders as this is the toughest yet most important slider for realism as well as to counter act the G League ratings boosts. You have progression at 46 and regression at 70. I used this and initially loved how it was going but some elite players started to regress a little prematurely for me. For instance, once Luka hit 27 years old he started to regress an overall point every season. Same for Ben Simmons, amongst others players. Have you ran any test with the regression slider lower than 70? Why, in your opinion is 70 the sweet spot? I would love to hear how you came to 46/70 and wonder if you have any advise on me tweaking them. Thanks again man.

So, what you are seeing is because of a problem within 2ks rosters courtesy of mike stauffer. Everyone has a potential rating that gets them to the upper 70s. At default, this leads to a HUGE inflation of talent within just 2 years of simming. I spent over 30 hours testing this with different numbers. No matter what i tried, i could not keep the balance. Either got too many players in the 80s and 90s, or too few.

I ultimately decided to go with where its at. It will keep the balance really well for the first 3 years and enough to get by for 5.

This is due 100% to 2 things.

1. Inflated potential ratings.

2. Intangible rating being used to manipulate a players true rating.

In order for this to ever change...mr. stauffer has to change how he makes his rosters. Period.

Am i the only one that thinks majority of the players in the game are overrated when it comes to there individual attributes. No wonder the legends play like **** in this game. The attributes are all over the place. For example, giannis is shooting 25% from 3 point range. But he has a 74 3 pt rating. These people that do these attributes do not watch the games at all. They all go off dumb stats that dont tell the whole story. They also gave giannis a 81 when it comes to mid range. Giannis cant shoot to save his life. The attributes should be based on an all time scale. For example, their should only be a handfull of players who's rebounding should be 99. Cause Dennis Rodman and wilt chamberlain are the standard for that attribute. Nobody in todays nba should have a rebounding attribute in the 90s.

Yeah, the base potentials are far too high. I edit every players individual potential rating at the beginning of every myleague and I edit the draft classes too. A couple of 90’s, five or so 80+, five 75-79’s, etc on down. The first 3-5 years using your potential sliders is great but after that i think the regression is a little too aggressive. Idk, ill try to tinker to my liking. Maybe 60 regression? Thanks again for your help.

I confirm! I'm using CelticLG's roster, it becomes another game than when using 2k rosters. More fluidity, defense that makes sense and players don't look like rockets and excellent stamina management.
Really spectacular.
I enjoyed winning with the Mavs against the Clippers by 7 points, with the Blaizers winning against Utah by 4 but also with the NYC losing by 17 against Phila. Really fantastic !!

So to sum up, the sliders in the OP along with CelticLGs roster is yielding the best experience? Or are we deviating from the OP sliders somewhat?

Not sure, i personally haven't used the latest sliders with Celtics roster. However, I strongly trust those who have tested it and say it works well

Just interested to hear some thoughts/feedback on a trade I'm looking to do . I know there's a trade thread and this isn't the place for this discussion , but that thread is dead and not helpful overall . I love this thread and I value the opinions on here , so I'm gonna go ahead and ask for ur guys thoughts on this trade . I started a new My League with the Wizards and I'm looking to move B. Beal . I'm looking to move him to the Magic for Fultz , Isaac , Terrance Ross and a couple draft picks . I'm no expert in trades and just curious if this is a good return and if it's fair for both teams . Who comes out as the winner in this ? Should I give the Magic more or should I get more in return ?
