Hey guys... Just want to announce that I'm working on a nerf to player morale difficulty.

I had based it off of test sims of entire seasons. But going through into the season playing and players are starting off anxious or uneasy way to early for no reason.

I think MORALE and CHEMISTRY this year have too much influence on games and season.

I'm not using your sliders but on default, more than 50 games in the season, with chemistry at 80% I'm winning too easily even against strong teams with the Orlando Magic. On the other hand I read of people with chemistry in the 40s that struggle a lot to win games.

You're right on MORALE. After 40/50 games in the season players start asking trades everywhere (just read the social feed). All the bench players ask for a trade and sometimes even the role ones.

I can't turn it off because it can become too easy without them i think.

But i will get them more in line, that's for sure

Sorry to bring this up again, I'm seriously still getting ZERO and 1s while the CPU is getting a ton. I double checked and the sliders are inputted correctly. If I get fouled the shot NEVER goes in. I don't even get them on dunks because if there's anyone near my player (even behind them) my players almost always won't attempt a dunk. Even Aaron Gordon won't.

I upped the layup slider and turned off the timing for layups, seemed to help.

It depends from what perspective you see this. If you have low morale and chemistry the games becomes very hard, and if you have high morale and chemistry the game becomes too easy. Chemistry and Morale have an exponential effect this year. I NEVER turned them off in previous years, but with 2K20, even on HOF and some tweaked sliders to even HUM/CPU, after having played 55 games with the Magic with a chemistry of 80%, I'm winning easily with 20/30 point advantage over the CPU.

It's not only shooting (contested shoot go in at an impressive rate, shooting easily more than 50% at the end of the game), but all the other little things: defense gets better, average blockers become strong blockers, CPU can't get a good and open shot, the paint becomes inaccessible for the CPU. So you get exponentially strong and the CPU gets exponentially weak, opening a huge gap in skill between the two teams.

It's a shame, because it's a new problem adding to the legacy ones that this game always had. Morale and Chemistry have never been a problem for me in the past iterations of NBA2K.

They play fine on Switch so I assume we’re getting the same gameplay as the big consoles. I think I uploaded them (my nickname is vetmin), but they may be out of date so proof them against the OP after loading

Hey schnaidt, just wanted to say I'm near the end of the first season and enjoying these sliders. What did you update with the 11/2 update?

It would be helpful for people who can't download directly if you marked change with a * or something. I also usually upload your sliders after copying them and date it, if anybody on PC ever wants to find them that way.

No, either while playing on defense you press right on the dpad and scroll over a few pages and set it then.

Or during a timeout under coaching adjustments.
